As I got to the point of absolutely having to do my hair because my long time stylist was no longer of this world, I boldly walked in and made am appointment with Natalie not only did she do a fabulous cut her color talent is exceptional! Great service

MARILYN is the best hair stylist ever!!! I’m always super happy with her work and she is the only person doing my hair for years (I learned my lesson not to let anyone else come close to my hair the hard way (-:
This last time she just reconfirmed that she is a MASTER HAIR STYLIST; I went from blond with low and highlights to chocolate/​caramel with light caramel highlights!!!
All I had to do is show her the photo of the color I wanted!!! It turned out looking exactly the same which I believe would be nothing short of a miracle for anyone else to achieve from the first trial.
The color she is using is high quality stuff and it even smells more like some kind of herbal conditioner than chemical hair color. The shine and the tone is just amazing. My hair is corse and very thick and she cut it in beautiful layers that make my hair appear smooth and sophisticated without frizziness.
I’m so happy to have found Marilyn and I trust her with my hair 100%!

This is such a beautiful salon. I love it. Marilyn (The Modern Marilyn) is a true artist and all around talented person. She created a very chic A Line cut & color and transformed my hair:) I’ve been trusting her with my hair for years! LOVE!

Love this salon space! Bright and light on the beginning of orange avenue. Marilyn does a great job with color and fun stylish styling. And they carry Bumble and Bumble –my fav!

The ladies at Stella Blue are so much fun! I enjoyed getting my color done in such a beautiful salon! Nicole did an amazing job on choosing the right chairs as well… SO COMFORTABLE! If you are looking for a new salon, I would suggest popping over to Stella Blue. You’ll love it!

Really super chic salon! I followed Cindy Winter there from another location in Coronado. She does great color AND cuts. The owner of the salon was darling too, and I love Bumble and Bumble and they carry the entire line. I have two friends from Phoenix who fly over just to have Cindy do their color too!

I was very excited for my appointment to get a haircut because I love Bumble and Bumble products and the pictures of the salon look beautiful. The online booking process was smooth and made life a little easier which I liked a lot. The salon itself is indeed beautiful and seems set up well; the staff, not so much.
When I entered the salon I was not greeted by either of the two stylists who immediately saw me, instead of a quick hello they kept working away on their clients. The third stylist who had her back to me turned around and said hello after I stood there for a couple minutes. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I did and arrived on time for and then proceeded to stand waiting for another few minutes. As I was standing, waiting I noticed that each of the stylists was double booked. After a few more minutes of waiting, the stylist who spoke to me came over and told me that they were running late and asked me if I could return later. I couldn’t because a) I booked an appointment and what good is an appointment if both parties aren’t going to uphold it, b) I booked this appointment with enough time to pick up my daughter at school, and c) I wasn’t going to take both of my children to the salon with me.
In essence I waited 5 – 7 minutes to be told that they were running late, which I had already figured out. They clearly knew they were running behind and rather than quickly texting, calling, or emailing to give me a heads up they chose to not let me know (which would have resulted in this whole situation ending very differently), thus causing me to drag my one year old out in the rain and waste my time waiting on rude stylists who couldn’t even take five seconds to say «hi, we’ll be right with you.»
Don’t waste your time here unless you enjoy interacting with rude people and dealing with poor time management.
