Seaside Memrial Park & Funeral Home

I have NEVER found myself reviewing a cemetery, but… here i am (and for that am unable to give my full 5 stars review).
If you are paying homage to Selena… this site shall be the last you visit for it will bring copious tears to your eyes…
The burial site is breathtaking.. her eternal resting site is peaceful, gated and displays her wonderful smiling face gracefully. .
It was a truly hot and sunny day but while i paused tp pray right in front of it… i was shivering from being so cold…
As a sign of respect i took no pitcures but the memory of the headstone is still vivid though 2 years have passed.
Every time i think of that place… only one sequence comes to mind.. when poor Chris, holding a white rose in his right hand, just let out and cried … in his book he said he barely remembers that day and all he could think was. «that’s it… i am going to jump into the coffin and lay there with you»… and, as i think of his pain… it takes my breath away…
I just pray that one day, Selena may just no longer have to be her family’s guardian angel from above and be reunited with her beloved ones and bless them all with her amazing voice once again!

This place is famous because it is the burial place for Selena. Her grave is near center of the cemetery and the only one that have gates around it, you can’t miss it.

My grandmother is buried at this memorial park, and twice now when my family has tried sending flowers to her site, has become a problem. The first incident, my mother was trying to have flowers delivered on Mother’s Day which was also Administration Day. big wow. When she called to make sure the flowers would be delivered, the man working in the office gave her attitude. He stated, due to the
the flowers most likely wouldnt be delivered on that exact day. I couldnt believe it. I felt like saying,“hello you guys have a business to run and people are paying for these services!” After finally snickering back, he got the hint and had the flowers delivered. The second incident, we paid over $ 200 for a special bouquet to be made and placed on my grandmothers grave for her 1yr anniversay of her passing. The order was made TWO days in advance, and STILL the employees managed to screw it up once again! The flowers were not placed on the site, but also placed on the WRONG SITE!!! The staff delivered our order to the wrong headstone and once it was brought to their attn, took those used flowers to my grandmothers headstone! How rude! Luckily, we had someone check on the site since we are out-​of-​towners and they notified us about the lack of flowers. Once we brought this to the managements attention, it just went downhill from there. They had no idea the flowers were not even placed on the wrong site, but they also were unknowledgeable about the order, my grandmothers site, and if she even had a headstone. Its no wonder things were so screwed up. No one there talks to eachother about business transactions, and the staff is rude. I will no longer order ANYTHING from this piece of $h*t company and would NOT recommend anyone to do any form of business there.

My grandfather just had his funeral and memorial services here at this site. His casket was constructed of a beautiful oak which he loved with bronze-​colored praying hand embellishments in the four corners of the casket. His red rose arrangment which adorned the top of the casket, ordered here, was beautiful as well. The facilities were nice and spacious. As with all funeral homes, you can expect to pay quite a bit of money for every option you add to the service — so one should not be alarmed. The pamphlets my grandfather had were nice, but I do wish the printing was of better quality.
One of the men working with my family on arrangements was rude, but I don’t know what his name is-​wish I did. Mr. David Falcon, Ms. Ida, and Ms. Stacie were both very helpful and kind to my family.
The deacon who provided the rosary services and spoke at the interment was honestly disappointing. He used a different name for my grandfather than his own (TWICE!), he spoke too much of his own family instead of concentrating on my grandfather and our family, and semi-​chastised for not being able to hear many people praying during the rosary (very unprofessional and rude). My family wanted the services in Spanish, and this deacon did not speak Spanish well. That was also a huge disappointment. His services were paid for in advance, as the rosary is an added option.
