Specialties

The Corte Madera Parks & Recreation Department provides year-​round recreational programs, classes, sports leagues, summer camps and events for residents of Corte Madera and surrounding communities. Activities take place at the spacious Corte Madera Community Center and adjoining 20-​acre Town Park, and at other Corte Madera locations. Offerings range from Gymnastics for 2 – 5 year olds to Softball and Open Gym for adults to AARP Driver Safety and computer classes for adults 55+. Events include Daddy-​Daughter and Mother-​Son Dances, Movie Nights, Breakfast with Santa, Community Bingo & Spaghetti Dinner, and Big Band Dances. The Community Center and beautiful adjoining patio, as well as the picnic table areas and sports fields, are available as rentals.

The Parks & Recreation Department’s Mission is to create community through people, parks and programs.
