Dr. Wood is amazing. Super professional, and gets to the root of the cause of the injury instead of just dealing with the pain. For example, my calf injury actually stemmed from a weakness in my hip. He spends a lot of time with you and has great recommendations.

Chappy helped me to recover from a very serious shoulder injury. I broke my shoulder ice skating. He did non traditional therapy which helped to relieve the pain and speed my recovery. He is an expert at injuries that come sports and «grandmothers» trying to be Ice Skating Olympians! He is very professional and has the latest equipment and up-​to-​date skills.

Marin Spine & Wellness Center isn’t just your «run of the mill «chiropractor. They have the best and latest — including lasers that help relax your muscles, etc. — I have been going to chiropractors for decades and they are the best. I am also an athlete and so have aches and pains and I know that they will help fix them. Marin Spine & Wellness works on Olympians so they can certainly work on little olé’ me. They’re top notch.

About a week after I was rear-​ended in my car I realized that I was really body sore. I couldn’t pin point exactly what was wrong, I hurt and my body was not working correctly. I wasn’t sleeping because I was so tense, and I couldn’t enjoy my favorite sports because my knees and legs were not functioning.
After trying a massage which was great, but did not fix me, I went to see Dr. Chappy Wood at Marin Spine and Wellness.
It was an amazing and positive experience.
I walked out of the first visit no longer in pain!
After the second visit I almost felt better then I did before the accident. In a few more visits I was as good as new.
Dr. Wood was professional and easy to talk to. He got right to the point and figured out immediately what was not working. With all kinds of cool non-​invasive machines, as well as the traditional «bone crunching», he was able to make the experience top-​notch, and easy.
I wouldn’t go to any other Chiropractor!

Everything about this practice is top notch. Dr Wood is very good at what he does and takes the extra care to listen and understand the issues you have in order to get you healed and out of pain.
I went to him with sciatica and a pain level of 8. He was very committed to help in healing my condition but made me very aware that this was not going to be a quick fix. Over several weeks of treatment the pain moderated and I started to regain my life. Bottom line, Chappy is committed to your recovery and will work with you every step of the way.
As others have noted, Chappy is very good at setting up treatment plans both in the office and out. For someone like myself, where laying off the gym and yoga is difficult, Chappy told me exactly what to do and not to do. Sure enough, it worked. He also has a top notch group of referrals for when he thinks you need to consult a surgon, PT, or pain management professional.
Chappy is in the business of helping healing pain through Chiropractic and getting you back to a normal life ASAP. He the real deal, a wonderful Chiropractor and has surrounded himself with an amazing staff and really nice office environment.

I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I was desperate for immediate relief one day when my lower back was absolutely killing me. By fate alone (and after 6 calls to other chiropractors in the neighborhood) Chappy Wood was able to get me in on short notice.
By the next morning I was feeling better. Chappy was able to get me on a treatment plan and explained to me why I was experiencing such pain and how I could avoid it in the future. Aside from doing his actual job of getting me back to normal, he was professional and friendly, and from time to time a real riot.
I also enjoyed being treated by Julia who assists Chappy. She is an absolute doll who is sweet and nurturing and kind.
I certainly hope I never need his services again, but I wouldn’t see anyone else if I started to experience back pain again.

Dr. Chappy is the best sports doc in Marin. I had a knee pain that he fixed in one session. Turned out it was a tight hip causing it. He also uses a combination of different methods instead of relying on just one. Definitely recommend him if you are an endurance athlete.

I highly recommend anyone with a back problem to see Chappy Wood at Marin Spine and Wellness. I herniated a disk in my back and with excellent attention from Chappy and his staff I was able to avoid surgery.
He genuinely cares about his patients and is a real professional. I especially liked his holistic approach to treating my back and the fact that he was quick to refer me to a surgeon for further evaluation when he thought it wise. As it turned out I did not need surgery and I am convinced that this was due to the excellent early care that I received from him.
I feel very fortunate to have found Marin Spine and Wellness and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
