Business Owner

Craig is the owner and operator of McCready’s Carpet Service. He has extensive experience in carpet installation, cleaning, and repair. Many customers have commented that they were on the verge of buying new carpet, but because of Craig’s ability to repair and/​or clean it, were able to save money by extending the life of their carpet for years.

Craig grew up in Stinson Beach and Mill Valley, attended Tam High School, and moved to Corte Madera in 1971. After an apprenticeship with another local carpet business owner, Craig began his own business in the mid 70’s, and has operated McCready’s Carpet Service in Corte Madera since that time. He continues to take pride in his business and ability to help customers find the best carpet and vinyl solutions for their homes.
