This is a real neighborhood place serving great food with no pretense (it’s in a liquor store, after all). The chef/​owner is a super affable guy who makes great food and will chat you up about anything (hint: if you bring up the Grateful Dead, you’ll be off to a good start). But you should know it’s a one-​man show, so if you get there and he’s out, accept your fate and don’t hate on the place. However, if you’re lucky enough to get in while he’s behind the two tiny grills he has, loosen up your belt and order anything off the menu. You really can’t miss. Sandwiches are big and full of flavor. He no longer does the GF pizzas, but the sandwiches more than make up for the change. I don’t know why there aren’t lines out the door at lunch here, but if that starts to happen, do you mind if I jump in front of you? I gotta get back to work…

trying to go three times way earlier than 6 o’clock and him never being there this is the most irritating sandwich shop ever it’s kind a like a hitter miss that’s bad business I don’t know how they do business that way they’re giving the liquor store a bad name

Fantastic and friendly service. We ordered a cheesesteak and a chicken steak. Struck up a fun conversation with the chef, and ended up with a delicious meal.

The 2 Tacos for $ 8 chalkboard caught my eye and the pork carnitas were incredible! This place is a diamond-​in-​the-​rough. Every other week is tacos, this week was pork carnitas or chicken chorizo and every other week in between will be another tastebud adventure! The owner was a 4-​star chef in NYC under 30 years old. He loves what he does, music and food! It is located inside Paradise Wine & Liquor or just outside the front entrance.

Mouth watering Philly cheesesteaks! Brandon is awesome. The fifth star awaits more vegetarian options but he’s on the right track. Catch him on special days when he slings tacos outside.

Food was great and made to order. The chef loves to cook and wants to please. Worth a stop.

JP is a great guy and so is his pizza! Love the gluten free pizza and his steak sandwich is delicious!
