Waucomah Auto & Radiator Repair

My first experience with Waucomah came about because the dealership where I usually take my car said I needed a new radiator. I asked these guys for a second opinion. They did all the diagnostic work thoroughly and without charge, and concluded that, because the leak was almost imperceptible, I didn’t need a new radiator for the foreseeable future. For many auto shops, this would have been an opportune time to sell me a service that I didn’t need, so I appreciate their honesty and integrity, which is all too rare these days. It was nice to have somebody looking out for me.

Stranded and away from home, I felt very fortunate to roll into Waucomah Auto when my car broke down a few weeks ago. Chuck, the owner, handled everything himself from the very reasonable estimate, to personally driving my daughter and I to a nearby hotel, to finally picking us up and presenting us with our better-​than-​ever running van. Like most everyone, I hate to have to take my car into the shop. I am almost completely ignorant about the mechanics of an automobile and feel very vulnerable. I am actually more fearful of the remedy (especially the cost) than I am of the breakdown itself. I wish I lived there and could call Waucomah Auto my home shop. I would highly recommend a visit to Chuck for anyone in the Corvallis area.

Yup, these are helpful friendly guys who will look for alternative lower cost ways to repair your vehicle rather than automatically rebuilding your engine. Hopefully you won’t have to visit them as often as my truck demands though.

While no one (that I know) likes to have to take their car to the shop for repairs, the guys here are super-​helpful, trustworthy, and genuinely knowledgeable about your car!
From just a quick oil change to more complex issues — these guys do it all, and do it well! =)

I wouldn’t trust my car to anyone else.
