Description

Specialties

The Corwin Peddler is right beside the Little Miami Scenic Trail, and is proud to offer the following services:

A Family Restaurant, Tea Rooms, Ice-cream Parlor, Bike Rental, Bike Sales, plenty of seating and parking.

History

Established in 2006.

Simeon (an engineer) and Ann emigrated from England to the USA in 1989 and started a family shortly afterwards. Simeon & Ann had always dreamed of owning a small ice cream shop on the Little Miami Bike Trail.

Five years ago, we bought The Corwin Peddler and re-opened it on October 1st 2006. We were welcomed by the trail users and they asked us to expand the offerings to include food, and other treats. Bicycle rental and spare parts were also added to serve the public’s need.

We closed for major renovation over that winter and re-opened The Corwin Peddler as a restaurant and tea room on June 15th 2007.

Ty is our Operations Manager and works in the kitchen along side Ann, cooking our English themed menu.

The menu includes some of Ann’s family recipes, such as Steak and Ale Pie, Cottage Pie, Cornish Pasties, Welsh rarebit, Afternoon tea, English Cream tea, and Sticky Toffee Puddings. All of these are offered during our regular opening times.

Manager

Ty graduated from the Midwest Culinary Institute as a Certified Chef, and is currently a senior at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Hospitality Management.

With his training and experience in one of Cincinnati’s best restaurants (Via Vite) he has developed some sensational menu items including a braised pork belly sandwich and what we believe is the best burger in Warren County.
