History

Established in 1996.

Our property is the sacred native American gathering grounds, then owned by different settlers, then the campus of the Log Home Guide Magazine, a national magazine that constructed amazing log buildings as model homes. The homes have been modified to become our bed and breakfast and event center, our chapel, and one is our Whisperwood Cabin on the farm. We have off site cabins on the Little Pigeon River, a bluff site, twelve cabins with extreme privacy and extreme comfort – a hot tub, jacuzzi, king bed, stone countertops in the kitchen, cathedral ceilings, wrap around deck. We have 30 acres off site where the cabins are with 700 feet on the river there, a hiking trail down to swim or fly fish. Here on the farm we have 1300 feet of river frontage on Cosby Creek, plus our Whisperwood Creek behind the inn, altogether 47 acres. Our goal is preservation and celebration of nature and natural things as joy givers to our guests.
