Confusing… the sign hanging above the door says ‘Oscar Rose’!!
My husband and I have been wanting to try it and since my parents were in town it was the perfect time. I made a reservation for Saturday at 7pm. Upon arriving at said time we waited a good 10 minutes at the hostess stand with zero acknowledgement from anyone. We watched the hostess and a couple of servers walking about. Another family came in shortly after and now there are 10 of us at the front and still nothing… no nod. no I will be right there.zilch. So my family took it upon ourselves to go to the bar and seat our selves. Once again nothing… we saw people getting up from their tables and going to the bar to order their drinks… that is pathetic when they clearly had enough staff for the amount of customers. After about 10 minutes… that’s our threshold… we left. We will never even entertain the idea of trying it again! We will go down the street to The Railroad Restaurant and Saloon and have a fabulous meal and friendly service!

We always go here on big occasions and they do an excellent job! To the waitress atmosphere food and cleanliness this place is a must if you’re in town

New name is Oscar Rose! Delicious food and a children’s menu that satisfied our 2yr old. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Loved the rolls and salad. I had the captains platter, the seafood was so good! Highly recommend for a semi formal dinner or date night :-)

Thomas’s was bought by the owner of a local restaurant called The Warehouse. While having a lighter feel & more ambiance than Thomas’s the food is amazing. The prime rib was a perfect medium rare with a wonderfully meaty as juis. The fingerling potatoes were cooked with roasted garlic & still had some snap to them. The french onion soup was everything you hope for, a deep, rich broth with meltey cheese & a soppy yet yummy croûton.
Out waiter Bryce was OUTSTANDING, attentive & polite without being overbearing. He gave professional advice on the menu, his descriptions of the food perfectly clear, we knew what to expect.
The dessert tray looked scrumptious but I was too full to eat any more.
When we heard they changed ownership we were concerned the quality had gone down… our concerns were waaaay unfounded. it was a wonderful meal with good company & great food.
