AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I never would write a review like this but I have to tell someone because a manager should never have this much control of a buisness I had a transmission done here and paid 2600 dollars not the problem the manager brand new by the way so you’d think he’d be xtra nice considering he. Could lose his new job NOPE he could care less they lost the key and keyless remote to my car and did replace it week later the key that is the keyless remote is the only way to open my trunk unless I want to climb through my seat so I asked for it to be replaced no problem three months later w no return call I had to call them I got remote not programed ND asked to talk to owner the mgr would not give him all messages called several times and then apparently has caller ID and would never answer the phone unless I called star 69 or from someone else’s phone and then he would hear it was me and hang up and keep telling me owner not here when he’s there everyday finally went there talked to owner the guy never even gave the owner one message still not programed waiting that mger needs serious customer service training or to be replaced the owner Charlie very kind and patient but uninformed by mgr and will definitely lose clients and money with an intro freak rude mgr… think twice or only deal with owner here

Best experience for first time ever regarding auto service. These folks are so helpfull & friendly made me feel like a family and very welcoming. Total of 2 visit experiences: first visit was very helpfull and well exlained regarding my car transmission problem after performed scan test. Second visit I got there late and closed. Although alll mechanic tech left for that day, but only John, a service advisor was staying late to work on my car.

PURE LUCK! I just happen to notice this AAMCO. Pulled in and BAM! These guys were sweet! Took care of a problem I was having with my idle.
Took it to a «different AAMCO» 2x and frankly, they seemed lazy and didn’t want to work. Looked more like a boys club.
Well, Brandon Clark here at the Costa Mesa store, turned it all around. I was in and out with the problem fixed!
Professional, friendly, clean and best customer service ever!
I will drive out of my way to use this store again!

Brought my 1967 Ford Mustang in this week to AAMCO in Costa Mesa off Harbor blvd to repair a rear main seal leak. Very nice shop with a very friendly staff, Brandon & Charlie took the car right in and gave me a great price for the repairs. After the work was completed, the mechanics that completed the work showed me the repairs and explained what was done. I will be taking all my cars to them from now on.
