High end, high quality shoe manufacturer with the highest attention to detail and cutting edge style with outstanding customer service to match !!
No wonder why celebrities and athletes such as Robert DeNiro and Lebron James flock to this store. Their eye catching shoes and unique, matching colors and style in the front window cannot help but draw you into the store. Granted, the price tag for their shoes (starting at $ 1500 and upwards of several thousand dollars for a pair of custom made shoes) means these are not for everybody (and I’m no celebrity or Wall Street hot shot) but good things cost money. I had been eyeing a pair of gorgeous San Lorenzo loafers for awhile and finally decided to take the plunge the previous summer – glad I did. The clean look and bold, vibrant color of my pair of shoes makes everything in my wardrobe (including a basic pair of jeans) look that much nicer and helps me stand out from the crowd. There are two things every man should splurge on – a nice watch and shoes (nice suits do not hurt either).
Berluti makes other nice items besides shoes – such as suits, shirts and pants, belts, and outstanding wallets, leather briefcases, luggage, and accessories, The colors and dyes they use on everything brings out such bold colors and literally is a piece of wardrobe art. They even will sell leather chairs and sofas to wealthy foreigners costing as much as an automobile.
Customer service is outstanding. Aside from hosting regular parties for their customers, I have come in a couple of times when in the neighborhood (I live in San Diego) to have my loafers looked at and they have treated them so that they look brand new again with no charge. In the end, I was a little hesitant at first given the price tag but the shoes look – and feel – absolutely wonderful and it was a splurge well worth the investment. You can spend $ 600 or $ 700 on a pair of uncomfortable, mass produced Ferragamo shoes with rubber soles or step up and get your money’s worth by purchasing a comfortable and unique pair of leather sole shoes from Berluti – no question where my hard earned money goes (and went) – Berluti by a mile.

This store is on my husbands list of top places to visit while in Southern California.
The quality and craftsmanship of the shoes and leather goods in this establishment are second to none. They have ready to wear as well as special order items to fit your specific needs and requests. I always feel jealous that they don’t make women’s shoes as they are just that gorgeous!
The service is also amazing. Audrey and Jose are very kind and always keep my husband ‘in the know’ when new items become available by sending pictures and invitations to special events. They also make sure that while Mr. is shopping Mrs. gets to drink the finest French champagne this little lady has ever had :)
Totally a full service high end shopping experience and if you want to have a pair of shoes that every man will envy whether you’re in the boardroom or out for a night on the town this is your place!
