Just had my 2011 550i taken to these guys for service for the first time. Amazing service, great prices, they earned a lifelong client.

Micky, Terry and the entire team do a great job. They know BMWs and do great work. I think they are way more experienced and knowledgeable than the dealer techs.
I have been getting my cars serviced at Bullet for many years and plan to continue doing so for as long as I own BMWs and live in the area. You owe it yourself to check them out especially if you are out of warranty.

Mike was extremely, extremely helpful. I recently visited this shop for the first time because my car was officially out of warranty. BMW recommended a couple replacements and racked my bill up to about $ 2400. I came into this shop, Mike did a full diagnostic on the car, and gave me his honest and unbiased opinion. He told me exactly what was necessary immediately, and what could wait. He also answered all my questions without hesitation and did not have a bad attitude about any of the services I declined to receive. I ended up getting everything that BMW had recommended to me in addition to a couple other services, and my bill was less than half of what they had quoted me. I will definitely be returning to this shop the next time my car needs it.

We are so glad we read the reviews and, based on that, we called and spoke with Terry.
Spoke to him about our issues with our 2012 328i Beamer. He immediately knew what the possible problems could be, and gave us a rough estimate on the costs.
So, we made a appointment and we later drove by to see their shop. It looked impressive.
It was our first time there and everyone was so nice, especially Terry. They inspected the car and the problem was as previously stated. They fixed the car in about an hour and the cost was right on the money.
While the car was being worked on, we asked Terry a lot questions about our Beamer, i.e., possible further issues and expenses. Terry was so knowledgable and nice. We would highly recommend Bullet Performance without hesitation

Wonderful! Had a great experience! They helped me quickly diagnose and change some hoses that another mechanic missed. It was done while I sat in their nice waiting room.
Recently, I called Bullet to inquire about fixing my BMW CD player. I have a CD that won’t eject. I spoke with Peter who is amazing! He not only talked to his technicians for me, He also called me back twice with various options and provided me with a name of a third party radio guy. Peter definitely impressed me greatly with his customer service. Wow! So grateful!

Bullet Performance is better and cheaper than dealers. I serviced my BMW 328i here for 5+ years until I sold it. They fixed smog check problems which other shops could not fix. They rebuilt my transmission. They also tune race cars. Highly recommended. :-)

Came here recently to get my E39 fixed due to the twisting seats and these guys are awesome Mike and the guys really take care of their customers, this is the only spot you should bring your BMW if you need service or repairs. The staff is knowledgeable and they know what their doing. Came back for a regular service on my car and they were excellent definitely happy with the way they took care of me and my car so I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but Bullet Performance.

My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Bullet Performance. We were referred here by my husband’s cousin and two of my coworkers. Our experience working with them was nothing but pleasant. Great customer service from both Mickey and Terry. Our 528i started to struggle when we would drive it and then a warning light came on «Malfunction in transmission.» Bullet Performance was able to fix it for us within a week during the holidays. When we got our car back we noticed that the car started vibrating, it sounded louder than usual so we called Bullet Performance and they told us to bring it back so that they could look at it. They fixed it at no cost and now it’s running back to normal. We also got our oil change here for $ 140. We will never bring our car to the BMW dealer for repairs. Bullet performance is the place to go!

My car had slipping clutch for few weeks. Took the car to local dealer. The dealer aren’t 100% sure what the problems are after they had the car for a week. Took the car to Bullet performance, the owner Mickey found out the car had the slipping clutch within 2 min test driving the car. The new part was ordered right away even though I arrived 15 minutes before the closing time. Parts was installed the next day and I was on my way to enjoy my car the same evening. Price? Less than ²⁄₃ of what dealer originally quoted me for ! Very knowledgable, friendly, and honest staffs are Bullet performance.

I reside in the Long Beach area but will make the drive to this place because they are really professional and knowledgable. I took my R56 in for a diagnostic since most shops in LB just couldn’t figure out what the problem was. Bullet nailed it. Although I only agreed to a diagnostic for personal reasons, I will definitely bring my Mini in for future work if needed and recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Called on tuesday to schedule an appt for an oil change. I typically work until late in the evening so I try to set up something for the morning… they didn’t have any openings for wed or thursday but said friday first thing in the morning was available. I asked how long it would take and their estimate of time was 1hr-1.5hrs…asked if they were low car friendly, they said not a problem… cool everything looks good, so far.
Arrived a little bit before their opening time of 8am and drop off my car confirming that this should take around an hour. I leave to go kill that 1hr-1.5hrs at a local gym… and return 1.5 hrs later to see my car still in the same spot where it was parked originally. They try to give me some excuses of other cars that needed to be worked on or other people who were waiting there, well if that were the case then don’t schedule me at 8am on a day where you had other priorities. Maybe you overbooked and realized it later, call me, don’t wait for me to show up then try to get me to wait even longer as if I don’t have to be at work. Needless to say I took my keys and left.
Would not even think of doing business with this shop who doesn’t value it’s customer’s time and who can’t come through on a simple oil change

I starred to get an error message saying I needed to change the brake pads. The vehicle condition screen showed the brakes were OK. I took the car into a local dealer who said the problem was from rats eating wires. They quoted $ 560 to fix.
I checked Unilocal and found Bullet. I got a time to bring the car in and ended up with a repair for a price of $ 240.
The rat damage was in the left front wheel. I was very surprised to hear about this rat issue. My 2014 X1 is kept in a weather sealed garage. I went on line and bought an electronic rodent repeller which I installed in about ten minutes. Hopefully this non-​warranty issue won’t happen again.
I am now a committed customer for the boys at Bullet.

Bullet Performance is definitely the place for your BMW needs… they figured out the squeaking noise from my front end 535i xDrive suspension when two other socal BMW dealerships service departments just passed it up as nothing unusual (yeah that’s Crevier and Sterling for you).

this review is long over due…
about a month ago my bmw 328i was making a loud whistling noise. I took it to crevier bmw since that was the only place i would go to get my car serviced. this last fix almost literally gave me a heart attack. crevier wanted to charge me over $ 2400 to get my car fix.
i did some research and came across bullet performance on Unilocal.being a female and not knowing anything about vehicles i was afraid of getting taken advantage of. however, after talking to peter he made me rest assured my car can be fix at less than half the price i was previously quoted for at bmw. they were great, honest and was able to get the job done in less than a day. glad i found Bullet Performance and this will only be the place i’ll take my car too. thank you

where do I start? THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO IF YOU HAVE A BMW. About two months ago my check engine light came on inside my 06 330 being that this is my first bmw I was worried. About two days prior to taking my car in my engine oil low light came on. I called up the guys at bullet and they got me in the next day. After reviewing my cars vitals it was determined I just needed a little oil and not an oil change as per what my visit was mainly for.
So instead of having me get a oil change when it actually wasn’t needed for another 8k miles I got my brake fluid changed (which was cheaper and was due). Bottom line these guys actually care to do business honestly and in todays competitive market its like a breath of fresh air in a city filled with smog. As long as I own a bmw this is the only place I’m taking my car to and would recommend you do the same. Thanks again guys.

I had been putting off the installation of the Dinan parts I had ready for my car. The dealer wasn’t an option for me so I asked around and found Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa. The shop is a great big facility with 10+ Bimmers being serviced at the same time. Very knowledgeable with BMW and a real race car enthusiast. One of my main points is that they’re a certified Dinan dealer/​installer. The tech bolted on the high flow AIR intake and added the larger T.B. The final step was adding the stage 3 engine performance software. It all came together nicely and my car MOVES now! I plan to be back for more mods. Highly recommend and A+

I just moved to SoCal from Las Vegas with my 2010 BMW 328i. I was running misfire & lean codes (Bank 1 & 2) and the dreaded P0015 /​P0012 codes. I attempted to fix the problem twice in LV at the dealership with no success. I ended up replacing parts that didn’t need replacing ($$$).
I moved to Orange County and took my car to Powerhouse German & European Auto (Westminster). They quoted me $ 1000+ and wanted me to replace spark plugs, coil packs, two parts I had previously replaced in LV, & more.
I took my car to Bullet Performance yesterday for a 2^nd opinion. They found the source of the problem quickly! Two wires were connected backwards – that’s all. No more check engine light, no more error codes.
These guys saved me a ton of money and didn’t try to sell me on needless parts/​repairs. They get right to the source of the problem. Afterwards, I gladly paid for them to do other repairs/​upgrades that needed to be done to my car (which they completed quickly). I won’t be taking my BMW to anyone else.
If you want friendly, honest, & knowledgable BMW guys. look no further.

If you own a BMW, these are the guys to see. I had heard about Bullet from various different forums which all raved about their knowledge and service. I didn’t put too much stock into it until I gave them a visit the other day. It turns out that their reputation is well deserved.
I had recently fiddled around with my steering column to get rid of the dreaded service lights, and wanted to make sure that the issue was actually fixed. The owner, Mickey, took the time to check out my car, take it for a spin, and answer all of my noob questions with a good attitude. It only takes a minute speaking with him to see that he has a wealth of knowledge of BMW’s and has probably seen every issue you can possibly have with your car. Best of all, he didn’t charge me anything for his time or give me a bunch of «suggested maintenance» items that I didn’t need. That’s the kind of service that I’m looking for, and the kind that builds relationships. So it’s easy to see why these guys are highly regarded in the BMW community.
Anyone who owns an older BMW knows the importance of finding an honest and reliable independent mechanic, and I’m glad that I was able to find these guys. The next time my dash lights up like a christmas tree, I’m not even gonna mess around anymore. I’m just gonna bring my car straight to these guys.
