Description

Specialties

What if your child could code their own apps and games? Build their own weather sensors and motion detectors? Program a real robot?

Learning how to code is a proven way to increase your child’s academic performance in mathematics and critical reasoning, and is one of the fastest growing college majors and job markets.

codeCampus is Orange County’s first and only year-round after school computer science academy. We structure our 4-week sessions like college classes, helping our students accelerate years ahead of their peers! They’ll quickly learn the fundamentals of computer science, and then move on to start coding their own apps, games, and animations.

History

Established in 2015.

Founded by Raj Sidhu, creator of Code Monkey Island and education technology consultant to Dreamworks Pictures.

Raj S.

Business Owner

codeCampus was founded by Raj Sidhu, a pioneer in making code more accessible to children across the world. Before beginning codeCampus, Raj created Code Monkey Island — a board game which teaches kids how to code and which is now enjoyed in thousands of homes and classrooms around the world.

A 23 year-old graduate of NYU, Raj leads the instruction of each codeCampus section with the assistance of TA’s from local high schools and colleges, ensuring that students receive individualized lesson plans and help. His mission is to inspire kids around the world to code better, dream bigger, and work harder towards their goals.
