Collab is shared community space, an alternative to a coffee house, where you have your place to work without the burden of a lease.

History

Established in 2011.

The concept originated in 2005 in San Francisco, where software programmer Brad Neuberg got a few friends together to share a rental space as well as office tools. (He later went to work for Google.)

Coworking is a worldwide phenomenon, with our grand opening in Costa Mesa this fall we are just beginning to make history.

I use this space for meetings and working remotely. It is centrally located in a business park near John Wayne.
Varr is very helpful and responsive.
I like this location better than others I’ve looked at or tried in the Orange County area because the parking is free and easy to access, and I don’t get 10 reminders to pay my bill.
It is a smaller space. I really enjoy my Orange County day. I can sit outside by the water feature. it is a relaxing part of my week.

Everything a mobile business person could ask for. — Great location, awesome views of flowing water (in the water park suites), sunny, comfortable chairs — a great place to get your work done.
Bonuses include: free coffee (Pete’s), meeting great people and idea sharing, & the team that runs it rocks.

I have been a member here for over a year and love the space. The owners have a knack for attracting a diverse group of down to earth hard working entrepreneurs with a natural tendency to share and collaborate. The space feels like it is your own and offers as much private work space or interactive work area as you may need. I highly recommend giving them a try. Nothing comes close in terms of value.

The energy and vibe at Collab Space is amazing! I came in to try my free day a couple months back and fell in love with the place! Since then I have found it to be the most productive place for me to get work done, as well as have meetings with my team. If you find you can’t get much work done at home or at the coffeeshop and you need a place to focus — this is the place!

I LOVE LOVE Collab! The owner Julie is so helpful and answers inquires quickly. I stumbled onto Collab when researching a place to have my mail sent to. It’s a steal at $ 30 a month when everything in the area is closer to $ 80+ a month. The feature where you get email notifications of your mail, is a lifesaver. Love it! After seeing the space, it has such a great vibe– I can totally see getting a ton of work done here, I may just sign up for their coworking space as well. Definitely worth checking out!
