Established in 2011.

Dr. Block has been practicing medicine since 2004, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2009, and elected as a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 2014. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association, Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists, Doctors without Borders, and Physicians for Social Responsibility. He established his private practice in adult psychiatry in 2011, with the goal of providing personalized and integrative mental health care that focuses on helping each individual meet their goals and needs.

I am pleased to provide individualized, outpatient psychiatric services to adults, specializing in the treatment of mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder, mood fluctuations, irritability), anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive-​compulsive disorder, social anxiety), psychotic illness (schizophrenia), substance abuse, relationship difficulties, and other emotional or cognitive struggles. Because of the small size of my private practice, I am able to provide a very high level of care and attention that helps to foster your recovery.
