Anybody know what happened to the shop? Went by and they seem to be out of business. They always took awesome care of me, would call, give my first name, they knew my order and would always be ready. Sooooo sad to see they’re gone..

Couple dozen donuts on #nationaldonutday This was my first time here. Customer service was solid, donuts were, and the coffee was good. Support small business! The Starbucks down the street will be ok if you skip your $ 5 coffee.

This bakery deserves more than 5 stars! We live in Buena Park and go to the OCC Swap meet every weekend. This doughnut shop has become part of our weekend stop, they have by far the BEST jelly donuts ever! Most bakeries will put barely a spoonful of jelly filling in their donuts… but not this place! Once you bite into the softest freshest doughnut you get a great taste of raspberry jelly. In every bite! In fact, there is almost more jelly than doughnut! And these donuts are huge! I have tried a couple other of their tasty treats here, and even those I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased… I always go back to the jelly doughnuts! In fact, you can’t eat just one! You need to get at least 3 – 4 of them. And to top it off, the guys who own this bakery are the nicest guys! In my line of work I am quick to recognize quality customer service. And this place serves up excellent friendly service along with the best bakery goods. It’s probably a good thing that we don’t live close enough to go to this bakery every day, and that it is just a weekend treat! Because the temptation is too much! Like I said, I buy 3 – 4 jelly doughnuts whenever I stop by! I highly recommend this bakery… just don’t eat all the jelly doughnuts… save some for me!

Same donuts as anywhere else w a higher price point. Coming by the shop seemed to have bothered the guy at the counter. I’d rather go up the street, at least those folks don’t mind me coming in and patronizing their business.

Love this shop! It’s family owned and run. The food is really good. I would recommend the breakfast sandwich #2 with added bacon, or cronut holes(croissant donut holes). Also if you love cold brew like I do, you have to try the banana foster cold brew! It’s amazing. We come here every Sunday and look forward to seeing Quinton, he’s the best! Always so friendly and builds relationship with customers which is always something to look for in my opinion!

The owners wife or co owner had a sarcastic bad attitude to me when I asked her a question about the two shops they run. Nice way to talk and treat your customers. Good location but annoying owners.

STAYAWAY. RASISTRANTINGOWNER. Went in today, Monday for a donut. The owner charged me 2 dollars for an Apple Fritter. Halfway to the exit, I remembered I bought the same donut last week for less, so… I checked the menu board and it said Fritters; $ 1.50. I pointed this out to the owner and he said his register says speciality donuts are $ 2.00. I pointed to his board and said that he had it wrong. He gave me my 50¢ back and started to get upset. I shook my head and said it’s all about integrity in business and walked out. Now this nutcase follows me out to my car getting very verbal over fifty cents? He says since I save so much driving a Prius, what’s 50 cents, I again said integrity it’s all about integrity and that I shall not be returning. He them says well go ahead and by your donuts from the Asians down the street. I say it’s not about race and suggest that he will fail in this enterprise with his behavior. LETUSALLHELPHIMFAIL. I come in every now and then. I’m usually half dead in the morning especially when I only get 2 – 4 hours of sleep. I am so grateful that your staff are always so nice to me. Especially when I am to slow to think. It helps me start me day before going into work. I love the taste of the donuts and the bagels are good as well! Keep up the great work! Keep the positive going cause we all know we need it in the mornings. hahaha ~Bianca~

First time trying them and the regular donuts weren’t bad a little pricey. The next day I went back(I work really close by, I’m all for supporting local businesses) I was excited to try the acai bowl(sign says king of acai bowls) I was truly disappointed. I buy bowls daily for less $ and way more fruit and just delicious, so I am happy to pay for A good bowl but $ 8 for 3 scoops of acai not blended or anything it was the least amount of effort I have ever seen. When I asked what kind of coffee they had he just said my friend brews all the coffee I was like ok… Idk I’m disappointed overall. The service was mediocre I felt like he was annoyed to make anything. Advice: do not buy any acai bowls. They a rip off!

Employees seem bothered by simple questions. If you don’t wanna be spoken to, work at Walmart. Donuts here suck. Acai bowls are a joke. Can’t wait to see what they put here next. Ps get rid of the dude with curly hair and facial hair he’s a douche

Nasty service. They treat customers badly. Expensive prices for bad quality service and donuts. I just moved to the area and was looking for small family business to support and we found them. We bought 2 bagels with cream cheese, 2 coffee, 2 dounts. We went home and both the bagels were burned. The guy was mean. There were two coffee pots and the one I wanted«medium roasted» was empty. I told him the coffee I wanted was empty, he looked at me saying«and you want me to make you some more ?» I said I didn’t want to bother him, he turned his face and didn’t make more coffee. I took a picture for the burned bagels and took it next day. Another guy was there. He identified himself as the owner. I showed him the picture and he opened the register and slammed on the table $ 20. I walked away without taking the money shaking my head when he yelled at me saying«I came here to show off, what else did I want him to do?» A couple of males were witnessing him yelling at me and didn’t do anything. Obviously, they got away with stuff like that. I still have the pictures. Don’t recommend going there. I am not happy with their attitude and you’ll be too when you try them.

Good quality donuts that don’t give you a stomachache right after eating a few. They have healthy stuff like acai bowls too ;)

I don’t mind paying high prices if the product is quality. I ordered 2 croissant sandwiches and 2 cronuts — $ 18. The croissant sandwiches had eggs that looked gray and I am pretty sure they were egg-beaters. They also each contained one very thin slice of deli styled ham. I was there at 7am and the cronuts were refrigerated cold so I am pretty sure they were day-old. As I said, I definitely don’t mind paying for quality but what I got for the money was a rip off. If they don’t improve the quality for what you pay, they won’t be around very long.

I also live close by this area and had now and then frequent this donut shop when the previous owners were still there. Today I went by to treat myself and found that there were new owners. I’ve noticed a new vinyl banner but thought only because there was just a name change. The gal said hello but that was the extend of the friendliness out of her. I started some small talk and said something like, «oh, is this under new ownership?» She said something like, «yes we’ve been here since July» but in a snarky and what sounded like an exasperated tone as if i was bothering her and taking up her time from being pregnant. But then again maybe it’s her hormone talking. She handed me my change but never even thanked me as her customer. Instead I gave a kind«thank you» and her reply was«YUP !!» again, in an annoyed tone. That’ll be my last time going there. Hope her newborn will have a better personality than hers.

I live close to here and since there really isnt donut places around I checked on Unilocal and based on the pictures I decided to mosey on over for a yummy donut. So the pictures in the previous reviews show decadent, one of a kind, fancier donuts like caramel apple pie, lemon, raspberry etc… what was there at 730 am(prime donut pick up time)? Plain, run of the mill donuts. I got 1 chocolate cake and 1 crumb donut bar with raspberry filling. $ 6. Yes that would be $ 3 a donut. Chocolate cake donut — dry, see thru chocolate glaze. Crumb Donut Bar — filling was good, donut was dry. They must make their money off of the bowls, and lunches and juices they sell but if your store is named«Donut Don’s» you should at the very least have good donuts.

Fantastic croissant sandwiches! It’s a nice little place to grab some quick breakfast before school. The owners are super chill too! I spilled my coffee everywhere and they even gave me a new one. Great place and people.

My husband and son are Friday regulars at this donut spot, and now I know why. From the good olé glazed donut holes to their seasonal pumkpin spice glazed with a crumbled topping these donuts are AMAZING! Love the gluten and dairy free options, also nonGMO. They also have acia bowls, smoothies and tasty coffee. Great local breakfast spot! #donutdons
