Dr. Apple OC

2 years ago Dr. Apple replaced the glass on my iPhone. We coordinated our meeting at a local coffee shop by my work where he was already working on an iPad and as soon as he completed work on the iPad he began work on my phone; 30 minutes later I was out the door. He was professional, polite and inexpensive compared to other repair shops. I highly recommend.

Best home service ever! A master at his craft. Probably would have done it under 30 minutes if I wasn’t talking to him. I would defiantly recommend this fast, affordable, guru to anyone needing iphone repair. Thanks Hugo.

I’m a bit of a Mac geek and am concerned about my devices. After a brief call about my cracked screen, Hugo came by my house and setup. I watched him through the entire repair process and he was spot on what I would have expected from the Apple Store, at about half the cost. The «geniuses» have nothing on him! I would highly recommend him and will use him again if I ever damage my screen (s) again!

Met with them at their OC Fairgrounds location a couple of weeks ago to replace the glass on the iPad 3 that my son dropped. $ 99 and it was fixed in an hour. He even did a good job cleaning up all the dented corners. I was worried that they would not be able to fix it because of the corners, but I was assured it was no problem and that most of the iPads coming in for repair all have the same thing.
After an hour I came back and my son’s iPad was as good as new. You couldn’t tell that it ever broke and the corners were in much better shape then when I dropped it off. Don’t expect the corners to look as good as new, but they looked 100% better than before the repair job.
I highly recommend them to fix your broken screens.

Received same day repair of my iPad. Hugo changed the weak battery and cracked screen in 30 minutes. This is NOT a DIY YouTube repair!!! Note: I couldn’t back up the iPad b/​c it was so weak and wouldn’t take a charge more than 8%. I put it in the freezer for one hour and it would keep enough of a charge during the backup to my PC. Whew! (It wasn’t necessary since the battery replacement would have taken care of the backup) Apple will exchange your weak battery iPad with a refurb BUT ALL of your apps and data will be lost. Call Hugo and save yourself grief. Nice and courteous and highly recommended !

Called around to get quotes for 5c screen repair, Dr. Apple was the best quote and his work was clean and quick. about 15 minutes. best of all he came to me! I will definitely recommend him and use this service again.

This has been the best iPhone screen repair experience ever. I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. (I’ve cracked quite a few of these babies) I searched on Unilocal and found Dr. Apple. I talked to Hugo and he was able to come meet me the very next day! We scheduled to meet at 10am at my work; he was here at 9:55am. The whole process literally took 30 mins and I have a functioning phone again!
Fast, on time and affordable. He’s also a very nice guy and was sharing stories about his family.
I’m very happy with the end result and definitely recommend you give Dr. Apple a call if you need your Apple products repaired.

This place rocks. I had an iPhone that would not charge and i needed it repaired before i left for Arizona for the weekend and HAD to have GPS. I took it down to the Apple store and the ‘Genius’ told me there was nothing they could do but sell me a new refurbished 4S for 200 bucks. I found Dr. Apple online and they had online Chat and were able to quote me a price on the spot and set up a time to meet the very next day when i was free. The phone works great, charges up like it was new. Special thanks to Hugo for helping me out in a jam!

I had my iPhone screen cracked and I found dr apple. I went to the Orange County market place and saw them there. I was able to drop off my phone and shop. It was done in about 20mins and I don’t have to wait and come back. I was so happy with the service I will be back soon to buy a new case. I will tell all my family about them. Dr. Apple is awesome. I got my phone wet in the ocean and sand in the charger jack (phone got wet but was still working, but the charger wouldn’t go in). Took it to The Mac store and said it couldn’t be fixed. They said there was irreversible corrosion, and I had to get a new phone.
Took it to Dr. Apple and the owner looked and saw no water damage. Sure enough there was NO CORROSION just a little sand. Fixed it for $ 30. Save me some serious $$$ on a new phone.

These guys are great! I break my phone this morning, by this afternoon it’s whole again! This is the 2^nd time I had this happen in the last 30 days, both times they answered their phone & I had an appointment in a matter of seconds. They are quite accommodating & now they even have a store if they can’t get to your location same day!
They are affordable & professional with great service. They were even cheaper than most places I would have had to leave work & drive 30+ minutes to. Both appointments Hugo showed up right on time! It’s nice to know if your source of biz comes from your iPhone & it breaks, it will be back working within hours!

so… yep! I dropped the iphone. the glass was shattered… I called a couple of places to check the price. I cannot find the place was opened on Sat. but Dr. Apple.
and this was the closest place to bring my iphone.

This is my 3^rd time coming to get my daughter’s screen fixed… I have nothing bad to say about these guys & find them professional. Although I have each time come to them & it seems like most of the people writing complaints are for them not showing up for repairs at customer location. I will continue to come to them (especially now-​they have just opened an office in OC near swapmeet — so no longer will I have to go into swapmeet to see them) & I will also recommend to my friends.

It’s been 9 DAYS since these incompetent JERKS have refused to come to an appointment they’ve made according to their own schedules. They scheduled with my manager 3 more times and never showed up. They don’t even call. Trying to obtain a refund is also impossible!!! How are you going to charge for a service that hasn’t been completed? My manager is having to report this issue to the Better Business Bureau. Please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH «dr. apple». They are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Not worthy of a single star!

I have been searching for a decent price to fix my completely shattered iPhone 5! Ok so there are cracked phones, shattered phones, and them mine; looks like I took a hammer to it. (I didn’t btw) Not only was my screen shattered but the LCD wasn’t even working.
Anyways everyone was giving me the run around from 200 – 280 dollars. To be completely honest I though this was a scam because of how cheap it was! my appt. was originally for tomorrow, but they gave me a call, and we were able to work something out. $$ 135 $$and in 20 minutes I was back to reality with my working iphone5 #FirstWorldProblems. I’m not sure who I dealt with but he was very nice and friendly. I will deff be recoomending these guys to everyone .

Writing this review on my iphone with out fear of cutting my fingers thanks to Dr. Apple. Best price I could find, fixed my phone in about 20 min while I waited, easy payment system, friendly service and quality work what else cold you ask for? My only complaint was that they ran a little late getting to my house but heck real medical doctors don’t even make house calls anymore so a few extra mins wait in the comfort of my own home is better the getting stuck in traffic trying to go to them. Thanks again guys!

So heres another one of those reviews that excites me… excites me so much that immediately after the service provided… I ran to my computer to write this review.
Lets begin…
My Iphone 5 phone had a cracked screen. I was horrified… I had no idea. I searched tirelessly on Unilocal… hoping to find a place with a great price while providing great service. In addition, I wanted to find a place that had 5 stars… nothing less. I didn’t want to find a technician that fixed my phone which would cause future problems.
This is what I came up with during my research period:
–most private establishments will charge anywhere from $ 175+
–APPLE store will charge $ 150 (not including labor and accessories) and could go up to $ 300…and it would take a 2 day period to fix it as well
–most places dont even work on IPHONE 5
–some places will clean the shards of glasses and glue on a screen (BIG NO!)
well…not this place… not DR. APPLE OC!
So why is this place awesome?
–THEY DRIVE TO YOU??? well your probably thinking (jus as I did) that the price would be more expensive? WRONG!
–THEY ONLY CHARGE $ 135 !! YES… out of all of searching… this place had the cheapest price… and its SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper!
–they dont just replace the screen… they replace the whole panel, the home button… basically the whole front piece
HUGO was my technician, he arrived and he got straight to business. He finished the job in about 20 minutes. iPhone looked brand new, he ran a few test (i.e. the home button, the speakers, the screen, and the lock, etc…) and then he left.
Very very happy with the service done here… especially for the price… and especially how I didnt have to leave my house!
VERY WELL RECOMMENDED!
TAKE MY WORD… if you have ANY APPLE PRODUCT… and you have an issue with it… CALL DR. APPLE! I promise you there will be no disappointment!

My iPhone 5 had a completely shattered screen and I had a cracked iPhone 4 screen. These guys were able to fix them both within an hour at a great price. My phones work perfect and look brand new! Super nice and friendly guys. I shopped around and wouldn’t waste my money going to anyone else. I would definitely recommend them.

I found Dr Apple at the OC Fairgrounds and they told me they can fix may iPhone and iPad. I called to make an appointment and they gave me an appointment the same week. The good part about it was they came to me! Gave me 12−1pm window and they showed up on time! Friendly guys! They let me watch them change my screens! I highly recommend the Apple Dr. He does an excellent job. Thank you again!!!
