Decided to go with a different insurance company after my policy was up. Called two days before my policy was expiring and got the run around for my rep who usually helps me. Called back the next day and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes. Hung up and decided to call a place that has 24 hour service, 7 days a week. It just sucks. They make their commission and then they don’t take care of you after.

I would rather rate 0 or negative stars. Norma may be the most incompetent insurance broker /​agent in the industry. When signing up she sent me over my new policy via docusign, I noticed two glaring errors, 1. My name was misspelled 2. I had a spouse listed… but I’m single. I sent it back without a signature informing her of the errors. Her response was classic, pretty much she said not to worry about the spelling on the docusign since it would be spelled right on the policy. She further explained that the ‘spouse’ wasn’t listed as a driver, so not to worry about it. I was in a rush so I just complied. Next I asked to sign up for auto pay and she assured me should would take care of it. The following month, I received a pending cancel notice from Foremost. I called Norma and she seemed relatively surprised, but once again assured me she would take care of it. The very following month, another pending cancelation notice showed up in my mailbox. I tried to sign up for auto pay myself since it was clear Norma was incompetent. Since my account was in pending cancel, I couldn’t do this online, so I had to call and speak with Foremost. I informed them of her incompetence and that I would like to drop her and just buy from them. Buying direct isn’t an option, and they informed they would be happy to find me another broker once my policy expired. At which point, I counted down the months to find a new broker and underwriter. When it finally came time for me to cancel, I did some research and found 3x the coverage from USAA for the same price — perfect. I call to cancel my policy and make the mistake of being honest when whoever answered the phone asked the reason for the call… cause all the sudden Norma was busy, but would call me back. I waited two hours and then called back again, this time not mentioning the purpose of the call and guess what, Norma was available. She asked me to send her an email requesting to cancel my policy — I did so that night. I was a bit suspect when I didn’t get a reply, especially given her track record of failing to execute every prior request. 15 days later I check my bank statement and guess what, she had failed again! They had withdrawn my normal auto pay (mind you I had to set that up on my own, cause it was beyond her). I once again call Foremost directly and I’m once again surprised to find out that my policy was still active! So, I requested all the docs to fill out to cancel my policy on my own post dated the 15 days. It was a hassle, but I was happy that Foremost includes a ‘Reason for Cancel’ in which I wrote, ‘Norma Mejia at EZinsurance is incompetent.’.
I would NEVER recommend using this place. To the owner of EZinsurance, you need to clean some house and fire your staff, they are costing you money.

What’s the point of an agent if they won’t answer even the simplest questions? When you’re getting a quote and signing up for a new policy, they appear to be very helpful, but right after it’s done good luck getting any help from them. I emailed them twice with simple questions, and both times his (Ron) response was to call customer service! I ended up canceling my policy, and singing up with Geico, without needing an agent. Take your business elsewhere… they couldn’t care less.

call Jesus Tetatin for excellent, honest and timely service. He helped me find auto and renter’s insurance for my daughter for about 3 years. He really worked hard to save me money. And he seems like a nice fellow.

I was in a bind and needed to get insurance ASAP! I got quotes from several insurance companies, however, Ron was the best price for a great coverage. I wish I would’ve found him sooner. It was so easy and quick! They are the best. I will be their customer for a very long time. :)

I needed help FAST but at my pace and Jose walked me thru it all and was responsive on all my emails. Recommend for those who want something cheaper but want to be treated like a million bucks.
