Fun Time Limo

This wonderful buisness owner (as described from the REAL 1 star reviews) is starting his own automotive repair shop 1731 superior Avenue unit E. He has already decided to have someone else front the shop so no one will find out he is the owner. So if you want to continue to get this amazing 1 star service then please take in your car. If he can’t even rent a limo then I can only imagine how well he is going to do with auto repair. I only gave five stars so this won’t be filtered out, I do not like seeing more people get screwed by Steve Furman, or his better name down in balboa «stupid steve»

In April 2013, the Mon Cheries Red Hat chapter in Chino, reserved with Fun Time Limo, for limo service on June 1, 2013. Steve agreed to provide service for 4 hours, 11a.m. — 3p.m., a Cadillac Escalade to accommodate 15 ladies, $ 450…tip not included. The limo was to have balloons in Red Hat colors, napkins, bottled water, sodas.
Saturday, June 1, the driver arrived in Chino, a half hour late in a Hummer limo. No step-​up stool and little assistance from the driver, we left 10 minutes later. No party decorations, air conditioner barely cooled the interior though Raoul stated it was at max cooling, not enough water and sodas for 14.
Shortly after 2pm, Steve called one of the members, insisting we meet Raoul at the front gate and get in the limo immediately. We complied but still had to gather together all the ladies. Steve’s last call was unprofessional as he was yelling about a 4p.m. appointment to take young people to a prom which truly upset my friend.
Our return trip was awful. We had NO OPERATIONAL AIR CONDITIONER according to Raoul. It was a hot box and miserable. The only saving grace was 1 bottle of wine on ice for 14 ladies, a few bottled waters and sodas but not enough for everyone. We arrived back in Chino approx 3:40p.m. due to traffic and we were late for our dinner reservation.
Supposedly, Steve had a mechanical issue with the Escalade the previous night. A phone call would have been in order to alert our contact of the change of limo. But an 11:40a.m. departure, inadequate air, an air vent with no insert, an overhead loose panel, radio functioned at times, no decorations/​balloons, no inside lights, no napkins, trash already in the trash bucket, an inattentive driver who sometimes assisted the ladies but was still tipped amply and Steve’s tantrum was bad.
We planned a memorable celebration for our Red Hat chapters’ 5^th birthday. A Cadillac Escalade limo ride to the Queen Mary for the Princess Diana Exhibit and dinner in Chino Hills. We received little of what was agreed upon and the limo was a miserable experience. We are
I spoke to Steve about compensation since we were willing to pay half the charge since we received half the service. He would not agree to that and I addressed it with my credit card company. Since we reserved on-​line and did not get a written invoice, VISA would not dispute it and give a credit.
Lesson learned, always get an on-​line invoice emailed to you. No fun time or good service with this company.

WORST SERVICE EVER. The limo arrived an HOUR late than our scheduled time, which was a total inconvenience. The limo reeked of alcohol already and there were USED plastic cups inside. My friends and I were almost locked out of our own homecoming because the driver decided to take a «shortcut» and ended up going the wrong way. He also dropped us off at the WRONG destination and said that it was «the best he could do for us.» We had to run to the other side of the area to get to where our homecoming was (I had to take off my heels and run barefoot). Ironically, there was a parking lot RIGHT NEXT to it. «Best he could do»? I don’t think so. I feel like a saint for giving a tip because they clearly didn’t deserve one. They didn’t even have the consideration to give us a discount for being so unprofessional.

We had the worst experience with this company. DO NOT USE THEM! We rented the Hummer Limo recently, when it came to pick us up it was very hot inside the limo but the driver insisted it would take a little bit to cool down because of the size of the vehicle. We were told the bar would be fully stocked. The limo had about 4 shots of vodka and half a bottle of rum. When we complained the driver did not offer to fill up.
Anyways we are off to the Whiskey in Hollywood, the limo never cooled down! Everyone was sweating the whole way down there.
We made it there safely but on our way to leave the whiskey and go out to get some dinner the Limo started to smell like fire and all of the lights in the back went out, the driver pulled over and said the wiring for the air conditioner was smoking but he unplugged everything and said it would be fine to get us home but we would have to ride in the dark. Of course we were not happy about it but he called the owner Steve and we were told he would give a small refund for the inconvenience.
We finally decided our only option would be to get back in the limo and get home, we didn’t want to be stuck in Hollywood. Got back in, got on the freeway and boom a loud popping noise, more smoke and fire. Now we are pulled over on the side of the freeway. Highway patrol came and got us off the freeway safely. We had to wait for over an hour to get 3 taxis.
The driver gave us back a few hundred dollars which was enough for us to pay for the 3 taxis to take us home. We have since tried to call the owner and demand the rest of our money back but he will not answer the phone or call us back.
At this point it is not about the money, but rather letting people know NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY, IT WILL RUIN YOUR NIGHT!!!

Soooo disappointed in this business! I booked a limo to drive myself and 5 friends to to brunch and musical in Los Angeles. Had booked them for six hours and they never even showed up! We waited 40 minutes and never even received a phone call. I contacted them at 15 mins after the scheduled pick up time to be told they were 4 minutes away and some lame excuse about over sleeping! 20 Mins later and no limo or phone call! tried to call back but of course, no answer. We were being picked up at a place of business and the business owner phoned us an hour later to inform us that nobody ever showed up! Unfortunately you are required to give credit card info to hold this service and now I have to continue checking my acct to make sure my card isn’t charged.

NO NOT Book with this company. I had a reservation I had to cancel a week before I needed the limo. At first owner Steve was accommodating but after reading the reviews on this site I did not want to take a chance on having a horrible time. So glad I cancelled. When I called to cancel Steve told me next time be sure before I book and waste his time. He was abrasive, rude & would not let me explain at all. He was as rude as the reviews claim, not professional at all, and finally hanged up on me!
So glad I did not have to deal with him. I never received contract, all was done via phone.
I would never deal with a business like this, wouldn’t give a star only because I have to.

DISASTER!!!
I really wish I had read these reviews prior to booking this unprofessional limo service. I am a bride that was just married two days ago and I am no bridezilla. I am easy going and have never written a review bad or good, however I MUST warn anyone especially brides to stay far away from this company. Spend a little extra, do your research and DO NOT go through this man.
All my bridesmaids and I wanted was a pick up and drop off from my house to the church. When I first called Steven the owner, my gut instinct was that he was a little off. He was impatient with my questions and not friendly at all. I should have known at that point…
The driver was late and unprofessional. She called to say that she would be late, but explained to me that the owner just told her about my pick up, so she had to go get the limo washed… Also, cussing the whole time. When she arrived, she came to my room with my bridesmaids, trying to be helpful with my dress, but getting in the pictures. My bridesmaids thought that I knew her… I don’t need you to help with the dress, I need you to make sure the limo is working!!!
Then she tells me that she needs to collect the $ 150 plus tip and stupidly I gave her the $ 150 and a tip without knowing what a disaster the limo would be. She shouldn’t have asked for the plus tip in the first place.
We get into the limo and it is NOTHING like the pictures on their website. It is MUCH older and in horrible shape. Then we notice, on one of the hottest days of the year, that the AC vents were blowing HOT air!!! We told the driver and she said to give it a few minutes… Waited and waited, still hot air.
She then calls her mechanic and he tells her that if the car is outside waiting too long it will short fuse and the air won’t work. She tried something else and that didn’t work either. Needless to say we had to roll down the windows and ruin our hair that we just paid for…
Then the privacy window wouldn’t shut either! She tried to pull it up and it didn’t work. The limo also smelled heavily of smoke!
The day after the wedding, I called that asshole Steven and he tells me he didn’t know anything about it and that it was working just fine before she came to pick me up! He then told me he’s very busy and that he just missed 4 calls and could I call him back tomorrow!!!
Both the owner, Steven and the limo driver are full of excuses and are supposedly going to refund me half of the money… I’m not holding my breath!
This is a real Mickey mouse company!!! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would!!!

I think everyone is right about Steve. I didn’t even rent a limo from and and i would never call again.
I asked for an online quote and he called and gave me a great price. I called back and asked for more pics of the interior. He sent me 1 picture of the interior. I wasn’t happy with it and after reading the reviews here i blew him off. He called me back asking about the rental and i told him i didn’t need a limo at all anymore and he had the nerve to tell me i should have called and told him cause he scheduled it. Not my fault! I never booked or agreeded to anything. How dare you say i should have called and told you!

This shit was a damn joke. My friends and I wanted a party bus for prom, so we decided to call this place, however due to the low

Me and 24 other people ordered a hummer limo from this service for prom and the limo driver was late to arrival, late to dinner, smoking in the limo when he picked us up after dinner then after prom the limo broke down and the driver was smoking in the limo while we were in the limo waiting for our parents to come get us on the side of the 91 highway. and during our ride the driver was on his cell phone talking to some of his friends telling them how he had to drive stupid teenagers around. dont use this limo service it sucks!!!

This was probably horrible and just a dreadful experience.
I needed to cancel my reservation for the limo because kids began to drop out of the group and they could no longer afford it. The owner Steve Furman, would simply say «I can’t let you cancel, I can’t have a car sit here on the night of prom».
He made the cancellation process such a disaster and so stressful.
The apparent «cancellation fee» was going to be $ 250. Now a little confused I told my friends and someone who works for a lawyer said that since we never signed or gave a deposit we would not have to give him money, since we never committed to the limo. So after telling Steve that, he cussed at me saying «teenagers are a piece of sh*t». What kind of customer service is that? Aren’t business men suppose to talked to their customers with clean language and dignity, treating them nicely so they stay in business with them?
All he is trying to do, is dupe people out of their money.
I highly do not recommend this place.
Find another service who will not yell at you on the phone and talk to you with such profanity and try to make you pay fake fees.

I am not one to go on Unilocal and complain about all companies who don’t seem to live up to their reviews. It takes A LOT for me to complain about a company, so that says something about Fun Time Limo. This company is absolutely terrible, and like many others have already said, the owner, Steve, is a complete douche bag who has no idea how to run his business. I would give them negative stars if I could.
I booked a limo with Fun Time Limo for my 25^th birthday this past month to go beer tasting at a couple breweries in Orange County. We had chosen this company because of their good rates, and for some reason, we were not able to see the bad reviews until today! Only the good reviews were visible when we booked it. We spoke with Cheryl at the company who seemed nice, and she stated, «We require you to book the limo for a minimum of 5 hours.» Then we told her that I had about 20 people attending, so she booked us an Excursion Limo which she said should seat AT LEAST 26 – 28 people «comfortably.» She took down our home address and the addresses of the two breweries we would be visiting and said that we would receive a call the day before pick up to confirm everything. We never received a confirmation email about anything, so I felt kind of weird about just relying on a phone call to confirm.
The day before my birthday, we never received a phone call. We went ahead and called Fun Time Limo and they said «Oh, yeah. It’s booked. We’ll see you tomorrow.» Kind of strange… but okay…
The limo showed up on time which was great. Stewart, our limo driver, unfortunately was not very friendly. He also had no idea where we were going. Shouldn’t Cheryl have given you the addresses of the breweries we were going to since she took them down? Not a big deal, but still.
There ended up being 18 people in the limo, and there was NO WAY that 26 – 28 people could fit comfortably in that limo. Honestly, you probably could have only fit maybe two more people at most, and we are all skinny little people! They had also mentioned that there would be a great stereo system that we could hook up our iPod to. Hmm… not so much. The speakers were broken! The bass sounded horrible and it was like one of your headphones was broken. For the whole 5 hours, we were listening to terrible quality music, which honestly kind of ruined part of my birthday for me. Also note that the limo will not look like the ones in the pictures on their website…
Stewart got us to the breweries in a timely manner and also managed to get us back to my house about 10 minutes before our 5 hour limit. We tipped him 20% on top of the $ 500 fee, even though he wasn’t very friendly and the limo was defective. It’s also good karma to tip well either way, right?
A couple days later, we notice that we got charged an extra $ 100 to our credit card. We give them a call back and tell them the situation. Steve, the douche bag manager, says, «You went over your 4 hour limit, so you were charged for an extra hour.» We then tell him that Cheryl mentioned that they don’t even book limos for 4 hours and that 5 was the minimum. He then said that he needed to speak to Cheryl about it and that he would call us back after. A few days pass, and no call back. We give him a call back and he says, «Call me back on Monday. I can’t access credit cards on the weekend.» I’m pretty sure that is total crap, but we said okay and gave him a call on Monday. After speaking with him several times, we are now familiar with his voice, so when he picked up on Monday, we knew it was him. We asked for Steve, and he then says, «Um, Steve’s not in. He won’t be in for a while. Call back in like 20 minutes.» Okay… 20 minutes later, he does the same thing! He pretends to be someone else and asks us to call back in 15 minutes! YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT LYING, STEVE! So finally, in 15 minutes, we call back AGAIN, and tell him the situation. This time he says that he is Steve, and that we should check back for our full refund of $ 100 in 3 business days. It has been 9 business days since we spoke with him, and still NOTHING. I think we have finally given up…
So now I will advise any of you who are wanting to book a limo in the LA/​Orange County Area… DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! THE OWNER IS A COMPLETE IDIOT, AND HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO RUN THIS BUSINESS. HE IS EXTREMELY RUDE, HIS LIMOS ARE IN TERRIBLE CONDITION, AND HE WILL ADD EXTRA CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT YOU KNOWING.
So Steve, here’s a message for you. You are a terrible person, and I have no idea why you think it would be okay to treat your customers this way. It is so strange to me that someone would be so rude to their customers, because in reality it would only make more sense to treat them with respect to keep their business. I hope that people who look up reviews for your company will read this and take it into consideration before deciding to do any business with you, because I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Thee worst service and quality of limos i’ve ever seen. Only went with them due to the lowest rates in OC. I knew we were in for a bad experience cause the engine sounded like a chopper! The quality of the limo was horrible. Dirty and tacky.
Traumatized by the whole experience still. Consider yourself lucky if you’re reading this and haven’t rented from them yet. Beware!

I don’t know why Unilocal filtered out all the bad reviews. Clearly there are more bad reviews than good reviews. Bad reviews are probably more helpful than the ass kissing good reviews.
We rented their limo to take us wine tasting for the afternoon. We expected to hit 4 or 5 wineries.
We hit 2 wineries and the limo broke down. Not anyone’s fault. You would figure either we get a discount for the time wasted figuring out that the limo wasn’t going to be safe to get back into or they would call another limo from their ‘fleet’ of limos or we would get a refund.
After much back n forth with this company (the driver/​the receptionist/​the owner), we wound up getting our money back. But they basically left us stranded in Temecula, with no other solutions, no suggestions for other limo companies we could call.
The owner even drove out to fix his limo and was UNAPOLOGETIC. I’m being nice when I say he is a douchebag. Why is he in the service industry? He was very combative and unwilling to come up with solutions to the problem. It was like trying to put out a small fire with a hose shooting gasoline…
It could’ve been a lot uglier if we didn’t have wine to keep us occupied.

Ordered a Limo for a wine tasting trip. By the time we got to our 2^nd winery around 145ish, the Chrysler limo we had rented had completely over heated and broke down! I have pictures to prove it. At first we thought there was just a slight mishap, and after an hour goes by, we get back into the limo as instructed by our driver, and move like 2 feet before the limo breaks down AGAIN!!!
We tried frantically to call the owner because he didnt seem, to care that one of his limo’s left a group of 10 people stuck at their 2^nd winery. By the time we got a hold of the owner STEVE, he was RUDE, UN-​apologetic and had the audacity to throw MAJOR attitude at us, as if the limo breaking down was our problem.
We waited around in the heat, hoping the limo would be fixed, watching people come and go having a great time. The winery even closed and we were still there… waiting…
We demanded a refund because this ruined our whole trip and wasted all of our time there, AND he did not want to give us the full amount.
Steve showed up, and got in my friends face, nearly causing a physical altercation. What kind of business owner does that to thier customers!!!
After a heated argument, where people were yelling, he ended up giving us all our money back, and said to find our own ride home!
We all live in LA/​OC no where near Temecula and this jerk off, ended up leaving us stranded in Temecula, hours since the incident began, and didnt even bother or offer to call another limo for us our our behalf so we could all get home.
We were not treated with any respect, not given any empathy, as we explain its hard to get the 10 of us together as some have kids, work on weekends, etc.
We had to call another limo service, which didn’t show up till almost 6pm, bringing our happy wine tasting get together to an end, on a short note at that.

I had such a good experience with these guys I felt moved to write my first Unilocal crew.
Me + 12 friends needed transportation from San Clemente to Oak Canyon Ranch (about 45 mins) for Pacific Festival and called Fun Time less than 24 hours before we needed to be picked up. Steve, the owner, was beyond accommodating in working out his drivers’ schedules in order to fit our needs and was able to give us a transfer rate to/​from the festival as opposed to an hourly commitment (other companies had come back with estimates 5−10x as much b/​c they were so inflexible).
Both of our drivers showed up 15 – 20 minutes before our scheduled departure time with clean limos (one H2, one Lincoln Stretch) that were fully stocked, functional and comfortable, with all the amenities promised on the website. Perfect for dancing/​partying in on the ride to the concert and for resting in on the ride home.
Great service from a company with lots of experience — will definitely be using them again next time I’m in the LA/​OC area.

Based on my experience with this company I highly recommend them. We used one of their stretch limos for my friend’s birthday bash. The 10 of us fit very comfortably in the limo. As far as I could tell we received everything that was promised to us. The limo appeared to be clean and up to date. All of the amenities (ie air conditioning, stereo, etc.) worked properly. The limo driver showed up at the agreed upon time and was extremely accommodating. The main reason I highly recommend this company is because we couldn’t of asked for a better driver. He was efficient and catered to all of our needs. He always opened the door at every stop and was a complete gentleman. I have nothing bad at all to say about our experience.

I couldn’t have asked for a better limo experience! The driver showed up right on time, the limo was in amazing condition and this was the most affordable company I came across. The owner was always very nice to me while I was booking and calling time and time again with questions. Our driver, Bobby, had a great personality and was very easy to get along with. Im very glad I didn’t read these negative reviews before I booked because I would have missed out on an affordable, fun night!

CON-​ARTIST! Check the BBB. They have done business is 3 different names because this guy doesn’t know the meaning of business or even customer service. He took my credit card number and gave me a confirmation number and told me his limos will be at our wedding. When I didn’t see any limos. I called him and he said they weren’t locked in??? made no sense. He hung up on me, I called back and he straight up tried to pretend he was someone else. What an IDIOT!!! Don’t waste your time on this FOOL!!!

This company completely ruined our bachelorette plans this past Saturday night. They were supposed to pick us up at 9:30pm to take us to our Hollywood destination. At 10:15pm we called to find out what was going on. They gave us the common excuse that there was an «accident» on the 405 causing them to be late, assured us they would be to us in 15 minutes. After an additional 30 minutes we called, no one answered. We continued to call with no response. At 11:30 we decided to make the most of our night and took a taxi to a local spot.
Do NOT UsE THiS CoMPANY!!! They have the potential to ruin your event and make it so you do not have a fun time at all.
