As a female, these shops can be intimidating, but having Angela there and being so warm and pleasant made me feel like I didn’t walk into a body shop where I was a fish out of water. They made everything so easy and are super accommodating. I will definitely be back!

My family and I have been coming to G & D Auto for well over 15 years. My parents have been bringing our vehicles here since I was a little girl. As a adult with my own family now, I have and will continue to bring our vehicles here. They not only do beautiful work on your vehicle. They treat you like family. You can trust this place. I’m restoring a classic car and I needed some medium level body work. They don’t typically do restoration projects but Angela told me she would look at the car anyway. I got an estimate that day and left my car there. The work was high quality and the final bill was the exact same as the estimate. Also her estimate was almost half of what I had been quoted elsewhere. Customer as long as I’m in SoCal now and already passed her number along to some friends. You’ll feel like family here. Also Angela knows cars and body work, just take her advice if she gives it.

Just needed a simple fix done on my car. I was told to bring it in this morning at 10 a.m. and it would take about an hour. Ended up taking less time, which is pretty rare for any type of shop having to do with automotive repairs/​maintenance. Angela was very nice and invited me back, not just for possible future collision repairs, but basically anything I needed done on my car, including maintenance. I would highly recommend this shop.

We’ve had two more mishaps with our cars in the past 6 months, and in both cases G&D handled the repairs quickly, with excellent workmanship, and at a price that was more than fair. You can always trust Angela, Jonathan, JP, and the team!

I took my car to this shop after my car was hit by another driver while being parked on the street. There was not too much damage to my car, just needed to fix my left rear wheel and tire; bumper; and front left fender.
**My car was in the GnD auto shop for a total of 47 days!!!**
47 days!!! That is way too long!
Here is what happened…
After Unilocaling a lot of body shops in OC, I noticed this shop and it’s great ratings. So I called and Angela answered and had my car towed to the shop. She informed me it would take about two weeks to fix my car. Throughout the two weeks, I did not receive any phone calls or any status updates on the progress of my car. So I had to call Angela to get the status of the repairs myself. After two weeks go by, Angela tells me it may take another «week or TWO.» I was ok with that, so I let another week and a half go by and still no one called to me keep me updated on the status of my car, I had to reach out to them throughout the two weeks AGAIN to find out what is going on. The second week goes by and I call again and Angela tells me that they were in need of additional parts and that there needed to be a supplements from the insurance. She told me it may take up to another two weeks and not to worry. I was very worried because my rental was only covered for 30 days and my car was in the shop for more than 35 days AND they said they needed it still in the shop for another week.
So another week goes by, I finally go in person to check the status of my car. As soon as I get there, the woman (Angela) I was dealing with this whole time left for vacation without giving me a heads up. So her nephew was now in charge of the job and he was picking it up halfway through the process and was unaware of everything that was going on. I finally got to see my car at the shop and it so happened it was in the paint room getting a new paint job at that time. The nephew (Johnathon) told me he would have the car ready for pick up by the end of the week (4 days). 4 days pass and I receive a call saying that he needs the car until the following Tuesday because they are missing yet another part and need to call for a supplement from the insurance AGAIN! Luckily, he was actually able to finish the car by that following Monday (45 days from dropping it off at the shop)!!
So I go to pick up my car and sure enough it looked to be in one piece and looked fine EXCEPT the tire and wheel they fixed was missing it’s hubcap. Johnathon said he had to order it and should have it for me to pick up at the end of the week. Ok fine it was just a hubcap no big deal, UNTIL I started to drive my newly fixed car and the wheel alignment was ridiculously off. The car kept steering far to the right. I call Johnathon to see if they can fix the alignment. He said no problem he will have his friend down the street do it in one day.
I go and drop off the car at the shop again for the alignment and they covered a small rental car for me for the day. Later that same day, I receive a call from Johnathon saying that he may need the car for another 2 days because it looks like they were missing another crucial part for the wheel so they need yet ANOTHER supplement from the insurance.
After this whole nightmare, I finally picked up my car. All the wheels had the hubcaps however the alignment was still off. After all that time, my car still did not feel like it was completely fixed. I also check the inside of my glove compartment where I keep my iPhone white earphones and the white wire on the earphones were all dirty and had all kinds of black marks on them as if a mechanic touched them with their dirty hands. So I’m guessing while they fixed my car, someone decided to use my earphones…
Angela was nice enough to waive my insurance deductible. However, the customer service I received from GnD was very VERY disappointing. The un-​organization on their part and bad communication is what really disappointed me because I read all the good reviews and expected to be treated like a valued customer. My experience with GnD was FARRR from being treated like a valued customer. And to top it all off, the length of time that it took them to fix my car (which didn’t have that much damage) was really unacceptable. My car was at GnD for a total 47 days. That is a ridiculously long time to fix a few things on a car. I can see if I was in a huge accident ok, but 47 days?!? For a small repair and small paint job??? Come on, they could have completed that job in two weeks if they really wanted to.
I honestly feel like they took advantage of my insurance and put my car on the back burner and didn’t take any initiative to fix my car nor help me in a timely manner. That is why I was really disappointed with their service and give them a 1 star.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you ever need collision repair, please do yourself a favor and come here. I got a quote from some place in LA and they made me feel so bad about side scrapping another car. I felt awful when I left and the quote was devastating. I found G&D on Unilocal because of their great reviews and came here. I was immediately was given a quote for one-​third the quote the other people gave me and they reassured me fixing it was no problem. Turn around time was quick and the car looked as good as new. Hopefully I wont be in another accident but if I am I know Im in good hands when I take my car to G&D.

I had the best experience with G and D. I had damaged the rear bumper and needed it replaced. Angela was very straightforward and told me what exactly needed to be done. Her honesty and work ethic made me feel like family. With all said and done my car was completed in a timely manner. I will be coming back for any other car issues I have in the future. Friendly service, prompt repairs, good price. I got in a little fender bender and kicked my car, both left clearly visible dents and blemishes on the body of my car. I came in and Angela gave me a quote within a minute at a very reasonable price. Repairs took about 4 days. This will be my place for auto repairs for the foreseeable future.

If you want someone honest, trustworthy and won’t rip you off this is the place to go. Great customer service and works with your insurance for a no hassle deal. I went to 5 other collision body shops and this was the best estimate and had the best reviews. Couldn’t be happier the way my car looks and wallet feels. Thank you 5 stars no brainer

I needed my car fixed after being hit in a parking lot. Had no idea where to start. A friend recommended this Establishment and I couldn’t be happier. My car is back to looking awesome and I wasn’t expecting them to clean and detail the inside but they did !!! I work a lot and don’t have much time for upkeep on my car, so the extra they did for me on the inside made me an extremely happy customer. Angela is amazing and so are the guys doing the work! I will definitely be referring anyone I come in contact with to Angela and her team !!! I can’t say thank you enough.

I was a single mom raising a kid when I first found G & D Auto Collision in Unilocal in 2011. I wanted someone I can trust with my only means of transportation which was a 2003 Ford Explorer. I have been getting my car serviced at G&D for over 5 years now. My only son is now 17.5 years old and getting ready to go off to college. He is looking to inheriting my old 2003 Ford Explorer. I was happy to bring him in and introduce him to Angela at G&D Auto so my son can see what it is like to own an auto. We asked G&D to replace the brakes and bearings and confirm that the car is road worthy. Thanks to G&D, our good olé American car which had about 180,000 miles is purring like a kitten. It feels safe and reliable for my one only child to drive while he is away to college.
Here’s another story about G&D… My fiancé has an 2005 Audi which is treated like his «baby». This car has very little mileage always been serviced at the Audi dealership. During a routine oil change, the Audi dealership mentioned that the car needed the front & rear brakes and rotors replaced and was wanting to charge us close to $ 1500. We brought the car to Angela and she gave us a very competitive estimate with original audi parts. We gave G&D the green light to start the repairs. However, when the mechanics looked at it, they saw that the brakes and rotors were still good. Angela called us back and told us the truth. She could have easily done the repairs just to make a profit. G&D Auto is definitely one of a kind. There is absolutely no doubt that this is the best place to take your car for repairs!

The bumper on my Jetta was recently hit and was left with a deep scratch and hole in my bumper. My entire bumper ended up needing to be replaced. This is my first time getting body work done on my car and I was not sure what to expect or what the experience would be like.
I am very happy with how my car looks, my bumper looks great. Angela, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming every time I saw her and made the entire process easy for me. I was well taken care of from beginning to end and appreciate Angela and her staff for the quality work and customer service.

Not only did she give me a competitive price for my bumper repair, but she gave me her honest opinion and didn’t oversell me. She gave me a complimentary shuttle to the rental car place and I had my car done in 2.5 business days. My bumper looks brand new and my car feels new again.

This place is great! I came in a few months back when my car was hit not once but twice in two months. They repaired the front right passenger side all the way to the back bumper. She gave me a quote right away and my insurance covered it no problem. Even the insurance company told me how nice Angela was! She’s the sweetest and has a customer for life over here from now on!
