Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary

I highly recommend Harbor Lawn. I was so devastated and stressed to the max from my Dads unexpected passing and I have never planned a funeral before and was afraid of dealing with a funeral home that would be taking advantage of my brother and I in mourning BUT that was not the case at all at Harbor Lawn. Tracey the Funeral Director made a very stressful unimaginable experience almost completely stress free. It was affordable and she did everything from contacting the military for a Veteran funeral to picking the flowers to the music and the slide show and the amazing pastor. Everything went very smooth and it was a beautiful memorable service that my Dad would be very proud of. Everyone that works at the Harbor Lawn Mortuary could not have been more helpful and friendly and I will be forever grateful to Tracey and the staff.

My first impression of Harbor-​Lawn was truly disappointing. We were greeted by a coordinator by the name of Randi. She was unprofessional, insincere, and quite frankly, rude. We had explained to her that our loved one was in hospice, that this facility had served our needs many years earlier, and we were ready to sign a package for an upcoming service. Randi explained to us that we should be with our loved one, until she has passed, then come back and talk to one of their funeral directors. We were okay with the message that she had conveyed, but the way it was delivered it was disturbing. Randi’s tone of voice was cold, and insincere. We felt unappreciated and unwelcomed so we had left.
After much deliberation, and some persuasion, we decided to give this facility one more chance. This time our loved one had passed on, a week later. We were then greeted by Whitney. Whitney is a true professional. She listened to our needs and accommodated our requests. The other staff members are exceptional, as well. From the mortician, who did a marvelous job with the embalming, to the gentleman in the cremation room, who took the initiative to cover his various tattoos with a jacket. Don’t think I didn’t notice. Thank you.
Harbor-​Lawn has a very spacious chapel. It is a very clean, well-​maintained facility. And the majority of the staff are very courteous, professional, and accommodating.
If you are considering to hold your family’s service here, I would highly advise you to speak directly to one the funeral directors, such as Whitney. Save yourself the time and disappointment dealing with less pleasant staff.

The staff at Harbor Lawn were great to me and my family. They were extremely courteous and considerate in every part of the process. My grandfather was cremated here and everyone at Harbor Lawn was more than helpful throughout this difficult time. The facilities here were beautiful, neat, and clean. We have absolutely no regrets in choosing Harbor Lawn. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone there for their friendly and comforting attitude as well as their expertise and knowledge through helping us along the process.

My dad was laid to rest here a couple years ago. The staff made the burial and planning process as simple as possible for my family. They’re very friendly, and they do a good job maintaining the landscaping.

They walked me through thee toughest time in my life as i laid my husband to rest. Every single person helped me out in such a loving an kind way. Now almost a year later, thy are STILL helping me.
Not only is the lawn beautiful and peaceful, so was the experience. I would highly recommend Harbor lawn.

Be careful here you need to read and ask for a clear explanation of what you sign! My bad I trusted what was he SAID, and it was not what it really was. At this time in your life when you need to be able to have trust and have faith in your Mortuary and at Harbor Lawn you are forced to keep your guard up at all times. Very, very sad.
