Super friendly staff. Took great care of Baby Bella!

I’ve been taking my pup here for past two years, always came back perfect. This time, was not good. His haircut is very uneven, they did not cut his nails. I had to take him to another groomer to have his nails trimmed who also commented on his uneven cut. I mean, its bad. You can see he outline of a harness used to around strap around him while they do the grooming? It doesn’t match up to the one we use, so not sure.
Also, not sure what happened, but this time he came back not quite himself. He was acting odd, showing signs of fearfulness, hiding under tables, non-​stop licking and chewing at himself. Luckily, he’s starting to come around again (it’s been almost a week). However, I will not be saying the same to Healthy spot.
Oh also, we saw a pretty pink area behind his ears. Perhaps he accidentally got nicked? Not sure what happened. Very disappointing.

These guys do a great job every time get my dog groomed!!! Staff is friendly and it’s easy to take my dog back every month!

I could kick myself after taking my dog somewhere else other than Healthy Spot. Why do I try new things?!? This place is great. It was my first time taking my dog in for grooming — my first dog ever that I’ve only had for a year, so I was a little nervous. Their staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I have a cocker spaniel mix who has very curly hair that can get matted easily. They gave him a puppy cut and shave and it was great! I could tell they took extra time and were very detailed. It was only a 3 hour wait on a Saturday which is enough time to run some errands. I wanted to try something new and took him to the Bone Adventure, which was a huge mistake that I will not make again.

Out pit/​viszla loves it here!!! Their yappy hours and weekend outings are so much fun! I recommend them to everyone

Great staff. Was a little disappointed that when they called for my dog to be picked up 45 min after I dropped her off & they didn’t leave a message. I called back 2x with no answer from grooming. Called back 3x and was told my pup had been ready for 2 hours and when I arrived they hadn’t done the full treatment (cut) I had booked but they quickly made up for it by immediately putting her up on the table and got it done.
Now a few days after I see how uneven my pups hair was cut… I could have done it myself.

Love healthy spot! The staff is always so warm and engaging any time I go in. Last time my lil pup went in a sewer rat and Dominique in the grooming department transformed her into the must cuddly teddy bear. Good products, good staff, good prices

Second time we have Zoe groomed at Healthy Spot. We live in Tustin Ranch but I don’t mind the drive… I have never seen so much detail the groomer pay attention too when grooming Zoe.

I shopped here for the first time today and had the best experience! Both Gigi and Maddy were the nicest salespeople I’ve encountered in a long time. I also met Rebecca, one of the groomers who was very sweet as well. I felt very at home and liked that it felt like a personal shopping experience. Gigi had originally greeted me… I told her that my 11 week old Maltipoo puppy wasn’t eating her food, so she recommended raw dog food. She explained that raw food is the most natural food you can find and that dogs usually like that type of food best. And boy was Gigi right because as soon as I got home, I fed my puppy the raw food, and she could not stop eating it until she ate the whole bowl! And I could tell she was really happy. I also picked out some cute toys and she loves them as well. I will definitely be back for food, toys and grooming, that’s for sure! :)

One of our favorite local pet stores. My dog loves coming here and getting treats and of course lots and lots of love from the employees. I just wish they carried a larger selection of food.

The only reason for giving healthy spot 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the price. They are a bit more pricey than other bathers in the area, but they are so good with our little guy that we continue to go back. We have an 18 lb. mix, and he gets nervous when he is not with his owners, but the staff at healthy spot are all loving and take good care of him and go slowly so that he stays calm. He always comes out looking handsome, and they do a great job every time. They also have deals if you check in on Unilocal

The easiest friendliest place to get my dog groomed at short notice is here at Health Spot! I can hardly ever get in last minute at most of the grooming places around town when my dog is stinky and greasy from people constantly petting him. He’s super cute, and gets super gross from people at work handling him… so I can never really get the grooming planned ahead. hence dirtier stinkier dog. but since. I discovered these awesome pet people, I’ve been happily taking my dog there and buying some really great healthy food for him. I also like the fact that they will brush his teeth for a very reasonable price, and the staff is super friendly. I always go there now,. in the past. I was floating around to different groomers… whoever could give me a last minute appointment. they always have room for me at Healthy Spot.

I am so glad I found this place, I took my granddaughter Dolce for a bath, it was amazing, nice and friendly staff. Good job .

We love you guys! We’ve been to the Healthy Spot a few times and every single time we’re greeted with smiles and awesome service. The team at HS is so knowledgeable and they love what they do. Madison was the best, I had other errands to run and she kept my Stella and Chewys in the freezer for me. Looking forward to yappy hour and events at the store. :)

We have been bringing our dog Murphy to Healthy Sport for several months now. Yes, they are pricey, but they are well worth it.
Trying to save a few bucks I took her (she’s a mini Australian Shepard) to another place to have a bath and haircut. Not a good idea, they botched her hair cut and made her look like a coyote. No offense to coyotes because they are cute, but seriously if you don’t know how to cut a dogs hair you shouldn’t be working in dog grooming.
We returned to Healthy Spot and have NEVER been disappointed.
They love my dog, and know her by name when she comes in the door. They sit with her and play with her while she’s waiting for me to pick her up. They are well worth the money and I will not be taking her anywhere else for her spa days.

Love this place! We brought our 5 month old and they are so friendly! Their store is clean, full of high end products, and very attentive!

I am so in love with this place I love it and my baby loves it so happy to have them groom my puppy. & also she’s really picky with food but here she found her favorite food she won’t say no to eating anymore. Love love love love

Usually when I get my pup groomed she looks okay but I’m never fully satisfied well I finally found my place! Not only does she look adorable but the staff members are so friendly and nice! Ive never been disappointed when I go in. I highly recommend it

This is a review of a first grooming for our fours years old rescue mommy. A homeless man gave her to a rescue as she was pregnant. In October she gave birth to 12 puppies. We drove up to Bakersfield to adopt her a week ago. And today she was treated as a queen. Her sore nipples that feed life to 12 babies got coconut oil and royal jelly massaged on them. I understand she loved it. Her fur is so soft. Her ears and eyes are especially clean with her nails being perfectly clipped. Most importantly she feel special and that was evident as she pranced out of Healthy Spot.
From the bottom of my heart I thank Julie for genuinely caring for ZuZu and giving her the treatment she deserved for so long but never got. THANK YOU JULIE!!! Both ZuZu and I are grateful!

I adopted Sophie from the spcaLA in August. Oddly enough, she must have been freshly groomed before she was left at the shelter. The hair around her face was trimmed and her coat was closely cropped to her body. I’ve never owned a dog that required grooming so I had no idea what to expect with her, especially since she is of unknown pedigree.
After a few months, her hair had grown way too long in front of her eyes and a dirt/​sand/​food-​encrusted beard began to emerge on her face. I realized I had better find a professional to safely trim it all.
I had a coupon for Healthy Spot, which is the sole reason I chose this place. I was able to get her an appointment the same day I called, and dropped her off for the 2-​hour plus time window. I went to pick her up after I received the call that she was ready and stood out at the main register waiting for her to be brought out to pay for the service. Well, the groomer emerges with this dog and brings her over. I told the groomer that it wasn’t my dog. She replied, yes, this is your dog. She was unrecognizable. Everything was perfectly clean and trimmed around her face. I didn’t want to spend the money to have her clipped since her coat had grown in, so they blew it out instead. It was straight and bright white and fluffy. Even the hair on her legs and paws was blown out straight.
They sent us on our way with samples of dog food and a coupon for their day care service, which I intend to use.
I have no other grooming experience so my review is based only on this place, however, I was so pleasantly surprised at the results, I feel compelled to share.
I have to tried since then, to replicate this at home. It’s definitely a Pinterest-​type fail. My dog is pretty amenable to handling so I was able to scrub the hair around her face with a washcloth and soap but I couldn’t get it completely clean. I also blew out her coat with a brush and hairdryer after shampooing and it looked ok but nowhere near the same quality as the grooming.
I have to hand it to these dog groomers because you just don’t know how each animal will react to being handled and maybe I was so thrilled because I went in with no expectations but I will definitely be back. Her photo is posted here as well. Thank you Healthy Spot.

I did not expect to have such a great experience shopping here. Uri, one of the employs, was beyond helpful. Usually I ignore the people working inside the dog store (I want to get in and out) but I could tell he had unusual expertise on the subject of all things dog. he helped me realize the reason my dog is not able to lose a couple pounds the dog food I was feeding her was high in fat we switched her food to something leaner that I just add water to! This pug needs chicken and veggies, no extras…
I picked out the most gorgeous dog bed that is so comfortable and plush for her and matches my house.
Uri also helped me choose a stylish new leash in baby blue! He also helped me realize The reason her old tag was rusting was because it was a cheap one made from aluminum so we ordered a brand-​new stainless steel one that has a baby blue daisy on one side and my contact info on the other!!!
And of course what’s a good day without tons of Elk bones, bully’s, cow ears, lamb ears, and salmon treats! This little missy is spoiled!!!
Def prefer this place over centinella. The store is easier to navigate since there is Less fluffy cheapo stuff to sort thru.

A HEALTHY SPOT for fur babies
OMG I LOVE my fur babies! They are my pretty much my kids and I refer to them as «The Girls». Like the regular 2-​legged children they don’t always listen, get sick, go to the doctor, whine, cry, beg, have toys and don’t pick up after themselves all the time, watch tv, and they eat too. Just like a good parent of a regular 2-​legged child I want my girls to have healthy food and because they have a gluten allergy like people they are on a gluten free diet.
My girls also enjoy play dates, going to the park and daycare where they can run and jump and play. And now that it is that time of year again when the munchkins and ankle biters dress up and go begging door to door for candy it’s time for the fur-​babies to have some fun too.
Healthy Spot was GRACIOUS to put on a FREE HOWL-​WEEK COSTUME PAWW-​ty for the fur babies. Apparently the pet industry saw a CHA-​CHING moment and cashed in and started making fur baby costumes. When I was knee high to a grass hopper a costume consisted of two pieces: a mask you could hardly breathe through with the eye holes cut out and you could hardly see where you were walking and plastic bib with you fav super hero or Barbie painted on it.
Now costumes look more like pj’s and come with moving parts. When I was growing up you didn’t really see four legged kids dressed up. Now-​a-​days it pretty normal. Even we big kids like to get involved and some go ALL OUT! So now you a Ren Tin-​Tin can go as a Cheerleader (you) and a Wide-​Retriever or a football player (you) and a RUFF-​eree! Hahah!
I was SOOO EXCITED for the girls to go to their first HOWL-​WEEN PAW-​ty but I wasn’t trying to spend a small fortune on fur-​baby costumes that my Sophia will chew off herself and her sister. But will most likely buy them some AFTER HOWL-​ween at a discounted price for next year and the year after because it’s NOT LIKE they are going to remember what they wore the year before and they have stopped growing.
It’s was a night of devilish fun for all who came a’barkin’ complete with costume contests, gift bags for the first 100 dogs curtsey of Unilocal, a FREE spooky photo booth by I HEART MOMO so you could take pics with your fur babies, a raffle benefiting a local rescue, music, YUMMY food samples and drinks for the fur-​baby parents, treats for the fur babies, and Healthy Spot even partnered with vendors to give out FREE SAMPLES for food and treats that are ALL SUPER DUPER HEALTHY and have NO by products or cheap filler crap that is NOT healthy for you kids but also isn’t good for them.
ALL the VENDORS were FRIENDLY and most gave out treats so my fur babies could try the food to see if they even liked it BEFORE I TOOK a FREE SAMPLE! They seemed to be able to sniff out all the goodies under the tables because they were on a mission to get those TREATS by any means necessary, even if it meant pulling on mommy which they know I don’t like.
So many parents and barkers showed up and showed out in costumes and just about everyone got a goodies bag. Vendors lets you take NOT ONE, NOT TWO BUT AS MANY samples as you wanted. So I tried to get two of everything because I have two kids that DON’T LIKE TO SHARE!
There were even cookies that HUMANS and FUR BABIES can BOTH EAT! ALL NATURAL, FRUIT BASED and look like «Teddy Grams», remember those! Well now you and your pup can ENJOY the same BOX of treats! I know weird but I tried them and I’m fine. They taste like cookies with a slight flavor. The girls loved them.
THANK YOU HEALTHY SPOT for putting on this SUPER DUPER FUN SHIN-​DIG. My girls had SO MUCH FUN and fell asleep on the way home. Hahah!
