This place is a joke. I waited 20 minutes for two tamales I never got. This happen tonight at 8:31 just in case the management cares about their horrible service. There was no dinner rush. 3 cooks in the kitchen and one cashier= no tamales. They push out food and just let it sit there. How long does it take to reheat a freakin tamale??? I left my number in front of the counter and walked out. Out 3 bucks and a empty stomach. Couldn’t tell what’s worse getting jiped for cash or sitting there and listening to that horrible corrido junk. I’ll never come back! If you enjoy long wait times for food and horrible music then this place should be on your to do list. 0 stars

Lunch with husband. I had chicken tacos with rice, beans and fresh smoothie. Husband had nachos. My food was bland. I had one bite of a taco, that was enough, chicken was stringy and could have been cooked more. Beans and rice were without flavor. Smoothie needed sweetness, like more Apple maybe. I didn’t drink much of that either, I won’t be back — ever. Décor was clean but shabby.

Great Birria tacos and consome, juices are freshly done and fruit waters, pickle cueritos and radishes at the salsa bar while you wait for your food

Just tried Jugos out for the first time tonight even though I’ve been in OC for years now and I ordered the bionico(chico size which is actually HUGE!) and the frutas juice which was also huge because they give you the entire blender! Also very inexpensive, you get a lot for your moneys. Well let me tell you — this place was so insanely fresh, authentic and delicious I can’t wait to go back. It reminds me of all the fresh juice spots mi abuelita would take me to in Yelapa when I was a little mini. I almost don’t even want to write this because I like this place is pretty under the radar for being so divine! You really can’t go into this place/general area thinking it’s gonna be something even remotely close to «luxurious», it’s literally right next to El Toro Bravo so there’s that lol, but you can expect it to be very tasty and always made to order! Also — I had 0 issues with the staff but I also speak Spanish so I think that may help me out a little but then again I’m not like other patrons where they want all this unnecessary chatter and excessive verbal interaction with the people they order from. It’s an order at the counter kinda place so I just go for the drinks and the food, but to each their own! All in all I actually prefer Mexican juice spots and always have because the smoothies and juice drinks are honest, which to me means fresh fruit, no frozen sh! t and absolutely no sorbet. It was probably the best smoothie I have had in a long, long time and I’m happy cuz there’s still a lot left chilling in my fridge! The bionico was also super yummy, the crema wasn’t too sweet it was just right!

Carne asada tacos were delicious… Beer was cold and the price was right. All around good food, fruit looked delicious too but didn’t try it…

In search of a new juice spot and found this great spot. Everything looks delicious and smells amazing. Not your typical«juice» spot because they do serve more then just juice. You may not find different types of granola or protein bars. But I assure you that you will love this place.

This place looks weird. But don’t be fooled. The menu is orange and the vibes are off. It’s incredible! I’ve tried literally almost every carne Asada taco is Costa Mesa and this tops the list. It goes like this: They take 2, 8in corn tortillas and get them nice and warm and soft. Then they take some meat and put it on the grill or possibly some other greater unknown cooking device and they cool it. This all happens in the back, so it really is a mystery. But as you sit there distracted, thinking about the wonders of Mexican food, you almost don’t notice the salsa bar. This bar has many good items. Huge limes! A delicious guacamole sauce in a bottle and this orange salsa. These 3 in combination pair so well I once saw a woman keel over in delight. Sometimes, if you’re lucky — and I mean L-U-C-K-Y — the carne is somehow crisped on the grill without making it dry at all! And if you order a juice, and you should, they make it fresh, right there, with real fruit and everything, but they don’t just put it in a cup, they bring you the entire blender full of that colorful drink! This is such a place. But here is the thing. If you eat here, it WILL change your life.

I have no idea about the fruit and juice, but the carne asada tacos are on point! The service is great, and for an older building it is always clean in there and the salsa bar is yummy! Watch out for the pickled onion… with Habanero! Soo delish on their tacos, but the heat does sneak up on you! I was sad at first when the beans came out with just a touch of Queso fresco, but they are so delish they really don’t need anything else(read melty gooey cheese, yes, they are THAT good without the added cheese)…add to all this that for a mere $ 3.00-$ 3.50 you can have your pic from an excellent selection of Mexican cerveza… served ice cold. Fresh house made tortilla chips and several different salsas with every order ensure that you will not leave hungry! *(The only disappointment was the cheese enchilada the BF ordered… it was really, insanely little)

This is my new favorite place. For anyone who didn’t get the opportunity to live in Santa Ana, this is as authentic as Mexican will get. Customer satisfaction portions and reasonable prices. Leaving me happily full and not broke. I had a torta cubabna and shared with my boyfriend and we both were full.

I phoned in an order for a torta at Acapulco’s, when I went to pick up I saw the sign for Mole Enchiladas… I had to get some. So now, I have 2 orders, enchiladas and a torta. I can’t eat both; torta has gone to waste, totally worth it. Yum.

Refreshingly authentic Mexican food in a county full of Asian restaurants. Tried the bionico here– the bionico cream was tasty but served on the side. Would have preferred more of the cream, and have it served on top of the fruit like other places.

For 5 bucks you can get a «sausage» breakfast burrito that consists of cut up hot dog Frank’s, eggs, and undercooked hash browns. What a disgusting disappointment. Will not be coming back.

This place has the worst customer service. Came in and was first in line, then this couple came in and literally got in front of us as the cashier, Flor, approached the cash register, she took the other couples order and did not even ask if we were next. I told her that we are first in line and all she said was«ok» she took the other ppls order and took their money as we were standing right in front RIDICULOUS!!! I think maybe she knew them or something. I get better service at McDonald’s! Smh The food is ok but lacks customer service. –Kay Von Kakes

I’d break it down to a five for the food, four for the atmosphere, and a four to five for the service. We came in at about 9:30PM which sucks for the workers there as they close at 10PM on Saturdays. The woman taking out order seemed a bit irritated but that’s okay as she did warm up later that evening. We stepped outside after ordering to encounter a younger couple who seem to be participants of the methamphetamine lifestyle arguing heavily as they made their way through the plaza. As I was smoking a cigarette, something told me they’d come by and ask to bum one. I was not disappointed although I was hoping to NOT have to interact with them at all. Here’s the scoop since this dirty laundry was aired so publicly: so basically she spends questionable amounts of time in some persons garage and has gone there more than once. She has done something in the past for him to get kicked out of wherever it is that he was living. She doesn’t like that he’s always yelling at her and told him that she doesn’t want to be with him anymore and to leave her alone. She’s walking away and he’s following her on his G-ride aka bicycle. That’s all I know about that incident. We get the food home and it was absolutely fantastic. I had the V-8 juice and I liked it because it didn’t taste terrible and I knew it was FRESH and healthy. The huarache, burrito, and taco we ordered was most excellent in flavor, engineering, and composition. Be sure to ask for ice if you’re getting your Acapulco juice and want it as a cool beverage. I’m not sure if this relates to the name of this place«Jugos Acapulco», but on their TV’s, they had a mexican show playing that had a woman prancing about in swimwear and then with her top off but she was covering her breasts with her hands. I think this was a custom ad video for the restaurant and«Jugos Acapulco» if my Spanish is correct translates to Acapulcan Jugs. Definitely an interesting experience!

I love that I can always come here for authentic Mexican food like caldo de albondigas, birria or chilaquiles. For those of you posting comments about being disappointed about the tacos and nachos. .I get it. But your ordering the wrong stuff!(Toro bravo next door is your best bet for that stuff ;)) Anyway, this place is awesome for authentic home style Mexican.(Most of it anyway.) They fresh– squeeze juices of all kinds, in different combos, or smoothies or milkshakes, if you’d prefer. But as a heads up, this isn’t a Jamba juice, add sherbet and frozen yogurt or peanut butter and chilled high fructose corn syrup… this is straight .up…juice. and i do mean, no ice included. It’s awesome, really.(Anybody who juices at home via Jack LA Laine knows what I’m talking about.) Fruit salads are amazing no matter who you are tho. I get the Hawaiiana(minus the papaya) with sweetened condensed milk instead of the typical honey but it’s bomb either way. A small is enough to share with my sister. It’s loaded with apple, banana, pineapple, strawberries, cottage cheese, granola, raisins, shredded toasted coconut. YUM! So here’s my gripe: I must admit the atmosphere in this place is a little.. ghetto. I dare say slightly rape-y. It’s all due to other patrons that seem to just hang out inside, drinking, watching TV or lingering outside… doing who really knows(??). Its uncomfortable so i always order to go. I hate coming in here alone, even tho the staff is always very friendly. Must be the location. .I guess. Still tough it out for the food tho.

Don’t let their name fool you like it did me! for you Gabachos JUGOS = JUICE’S and this ain’t no Jamba Juice… But NOT only do they sell FRESHJUICE they have a full on Mexican food menu of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, too bad I’d already eaten and was just stopping in for a Bionico, they come in(2) sizes and I got the small. Bionico — A typical Bionico has a mixed variety of seasonal fruit, this was for the Wife and she likes just Strawberry & Banana with the toppings, which is generally shredded coconut, raisins and crema similar to condensed milk. Pro’s — The fruit was fresh Con’s — I didn’t care for the whipped cream type topping they put on top, the typical crema was used sparingly at the bottom of the fruit, would have liked more of the crema and no whipped cream type topping. Live and learn I’ll know for next time and can have them change that up, would definitely return to check out the Juices and Food…
