Great service, friendly staff. Reasonable prices and prompt service. They gained a lifetime customer.
Took my Bike to a place in Stanton, took 4 long months just for some general service done on my bike.

I am so happy with Mach 1. Long and the crew are great to work with. I brought in my 94 Honda Magna with a Cam Chain Tensioner issue. Not only did they do a wonderful and thorough job on it, they also were trying their hardest to keep my costs down without sacrificing the work on my bike. They made me feel like number 1 and I really appreciated that. I will not only recommend them as my cousin did for me to go there, I will be a repeat customer for life with anything motorcycle related! See you next month for my front bearing and forks!

I brought my 2007 R6 here to get a custom sprocket and chain kit put on for more torque in those low gears and I had nothing but the friendliest and most helpful experience and quality service and care for my bike. They even took off my stunt cage and put it back on no problem. Got my fork seals fixed and replaced for a decent price too. Highly recommend this place for your local bike repair shop in orange county.

Great service! Fair prices! Very helpful, honest and friendly staff. I have been coming here for the past 15 years. This is definitely one of the best shops in the area.

As soon as i pulled up i sparked a conversation w a customer who had been coming here for several years and reassured me these people are the best at doing what they do. That convinced me and gave me more confidence my bike was in good hands. I did call to get a quote and reviewed them on Unilocal prior upon my arrival and they said they could do the job in 45 min.
Everyone was friendly, inviting, and as promised, my bike was serviced in given time. They even gave my bike new valve caps ^-^. Thank you!

Tucked away a half block off of Newport Blvd and right near Del Amo Motorsports, I am really glad I found Long’s small motorcycle garage. I have been to a few dealership-​based shops, but I like the fact that this place is small, you can see all the work they do, Long takes the time to show you exactly what your bike needs, and they do a great job.
At the big dealership shops, usually they hide their garage and mechanics behind walls and counters, and a nice business front, but you don’t actually know what is happening with your bike behind those walls. I have been to Mach 1 twice now, and they have already earned my trust.

I took my ninja 250 café racer for the first time to this shop today, they told it was going to be ready on Tuesday. A few hours later I received the call that it was fixed. I will continue to be a Mach1 for as long as keep riding motorcycles. I was loosing 30−40% of power when I was riding my bike, two different kawasaki certified mechanics could not figure out what was wrong with my motorcycle after I left it with them for two weeks, now it runs fantastic. If you are thinking about re-​jetting your motorcycle, look no further than Mach1 you will not be disappointed.

Long and his crew are awesome! They did front /​rear tires as well as front and rear brakes on my ’13 BMW S1000RR. The service was top notch. Long is very meticulous and inspects all work and test drives the bike before giving it back. All in all I saved over $ 500 in comparison to dealership prices. I’m very happy with the work and will be going back for 18,000 mile inspections.

I have been a customer of Mach 1 for coming up on 20 years and a customer of Long’s for over 20 years! I knew Long when he was at Three Brother’s Racing and his work back then was top notch and that still stands today.
Mach 1 has excellent customer service, work is done right and Long will take care of you and your bike, period. He is about the only guy left I trust to touch my bikes.
One of he last «real» bike shops left in OC. The big box stores might have better prices on some things, but they don’t have the service. If you don’t care about service, the big shops are for you, keeps the crowd at Mach 1 smaller! If you establish a relationship with Mach 1, the big box stores cannot compete, but it takes time. It is well worth the effort.
You’ll get great service and work done, regardless, but Long and Mach 1 are a true old school shop. The more they see you, the more they’ll take care of you. Mach 1 and Long are from the time not too long ago when knowing you’re mechanic was the only way to fly, and treating people, no matter who they are, like people, was how you got the best results.
I give Mach 1 two thumbs up. If I had more arms, I’d give more thumbs!

I bought a used bike and wanted to make sure every was up to bar. I originally requested a full tune up but they were honest and let me know their recommendations. Nobody could come close to their prices. Highly recommended this place.

Long did a pre-​purchase inspection on my 2009 R1 as well as a dyno run. Holy hell this shop is impressive. The prices were WAY less than expected as well. If I didn’t live two hours away, I would come here for all my bike servicing.

First experience with these guys, and I will DEFINITELY be going back here. I only knocked them a star because it was pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. They did a damn good job.
I picked up an ’86 yamaha xj650 from the junk yard that was in decent shape but was in need of some work that was well beyond my abilities. Took it in and Long jumped right on the motorcycle, took it for a spin, came back and told me what he thought was wrong. We chatted about a bunch of different things and then he gave me a timeline. Well, some new things came up while they were working on it and the time line got extended a bit, but no big deal. When all was said and done, it ended up being pretty expensive (labor…) but when i jumped on my bike, I swear it was like it was brand new! They definitely know how to fix up a bike and get it running beautifully. I have recommended them to friends and family, and I will be going back there soon for some other projects I have!

I was referred to Mach 1 by a friend. I have a Ducati Monster that needed tires. I called about 11:00 a.m. on Sat. & asked if they could get it done that day? No problem.
When I dropped the bike off they didn’t have the front tire I needed but could install my back tire which I really needed. By 1:00 p.m. I received a call saying it was done. Monday I’ll be in to have the front tire installed.
The employees were courteous & knowledgeable about the type & size tires I needed before I got off my bike. I felt confident leaving my bike with them. You see all kinds of different makes & models here. Before the bike left the shop it was test driven.

I want to keep my review short for my longer experience. I brought in my ’69 CB350 because it sat for awhile when I was away. Brought it in and in a week it was out and running. They were honest up front about what needed to be done to it first before I could have them do any of the work I wanted but didn’t need.
Sadly, a week and a half after having my ride back something went wrong and my ride wouldn’t turn over and if it did, it would die shortly after. I called back up and let them know that they just worked on it and now it’s failing.
Long quickly told me bring it back and it would be taken care of. Brought it back and they put hours into my CB. They genuinely cared about my CB and me wanting to ride it. They found some wires that need to be soldered that were causing it to fail. They got the job done and now over 6 months later my CB is still running like that champ it is. The MAIN REASON for the 5 STARS is the fact that I brought it back and the amount of time they put in, they only charged for one hour and a spark plug!
Long felt bad I even had to come back but he provided great service and always kept me in the loop! Awesome work there by their Techs and everyone on that team! Thank you guys!

Exceptional service and work. I came here with my son’s GSXR600 which had just blew out the number three spark plug completely stripping the threads in the head. I am from Modesto and we were in a bind.
Long and his team took the bike in Friday evening and worked long into the night tapping out a new set of threads and installed a Helicoil. Long did most of the head work himself painstakingly removing even the smallest of metal filings from the cylinder.
They finished the bike at noon on Saturday and we were back on the road. Praise God for this man’s exceptional dedication and talent

I am revising my last review and giving Mach 1 a 5 star rating. They attempted to contact me twice via phone and text. They rectified every issue I had with the last review in a fair manner.
Not many businesses will take the time to try an contact you once let alone multiple times to ensure you are satisfied.

This is the only place I will ever bring my bike to!!! They have excellent service with great knowledge of a motorcycle in and out. Mach1 not only resolved the problem at hand but has gone out of the way to make sure any and all problems were fixed. WE WILL ONLY BE BRINGING OUR SERVICES HERE FOR NOW ON.
Do not be fooled by other places such as (revelation riders). Not only could revelation riders not fix the problem at hand we were charged. Do not let jimmy at revelation riders fool you. He had said he was a mechanic here at Mach1 but come to find out he was a parts man here maybe u need to stop trying to fix bikes by ruining them!!!

I do a lot of self maintenance myself and engine work that can be done with a wrench and doesn’t require special tools.
For everything else I’ve been going to Mach 1 for small things. I had a chain and sprocket install And chain maintenance done for a good price (didn’t have bike stand at the time or I would of done it myself) but for the price it was great
Recently I purchased a laid down bike for a good price. I’ve been taking the bike there since but I’ve been having them install things for me cause I didn’t have the tools. For the things they did I felt very ripped off. I wish I had bought the tools and did it myself thinking they wouldn’t charge so much.
I gave them another shot. My bike had some issues I couldn’t diagnose myself with vibration and stability at different speeds and other problems. so I took it in for them to look at. I left it over night. I never got a call back and after 3 days I figured I call to see what’s up. the bike has been ready since yesterday they told me. but they never called me back.
No buggy. After picking up the bike long told me nothing is wrong with the bike and it is just the road or me. He told me he checked everything, tighten some bolts and fixed my suspension. He told me nothing was bent or anything. He told me he test road it and it’s fine. I paid and thought the price was a lot but it’s okie cause the bike is all better.
After taking it home the problem was still there. I feel like I had been completely ripped off and that long did nothing to the bike other then fixing the suspension. I would go back to see if I can get a refund but after reading some of the bad reviews I thought I’d save myself the hassle and stress and move forward. I will most likely never be back here due to feeling ripped off for the last ²⁄₃ times I went for the little jobs he did. informing me that nothing is wrong when in fact there is.
For engine work that you know you need done, I’m sure they will do great. But for diagnostics I’d suggest taking it elsewhere.

Joe responded to my phone call very quickly and I was able to get in and get service immediately. He also educated me on tires and did a great job making sure all my ninjas needs were taken care of.
The shop is clean and easy to locate. I will be coming back for my future bike needs!
