I wanted to get some pants made here and was given swatches with different colors, the pants took forever to get made and one of the pairs was white and ended up being see through whenI got them back. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again because one of the pairs I did really like but when I wanted to use that fabric again they no longer had it and all of their prices went way way up. So not consistent at all.

Highly recommended. I’ve been to many custom tailors in SoCal but Mytailor is the best. Many tailors claim they’re bespoke but in reality they’re only made-​to-​measure. Many custom tailors in SoCal clearly become uncomfortable when you start to venture into bespoke territory. Not so with Divij. He can make your sartorial interests a reality.
I use Mytailor for shirts and suits. I’ve owned shirts and suits from all of the top makers so I have been exposed to a lot of things that I like and don’t like. I have more specs than most tailors would or could agree to. Mytailor has the knowledge, artisanship and customer service to deliver to the most discerning customers.
If something seems off on an article of clothing then Divij will fix it. Getting basic fixes from other custom tailors can often feel like a major negotiation which is exhausting. Mytailor’s prices are very competitive too which is icing on the cake. Compare prices to other custom tailors or even to off-​the-​rack clothing in Beverly Hills.
Take pictures of suits or shirts you like and send them to Divij. Chances are good that he can turn those pictures into your new wardrobe for a good price. If you’re picky about your clothes then you should definitely meet with Divij and see what he can do for you.

These guys do an amazing job.
I needed a 3 piece suit for my wedding, but couldn’t find the color I needed. I almost gave up and bought something off the shelf but decided to give these guys a chance.
The selection is amazing. They have every color you can think of. Their attention to detail is second to none. I think they spent about 30 – 45 mins on measurements alone.
The suit arrived in about 5 weeks and only needed one minor adjustment to the jacket sleeve length. The shirt I ordered with it fit better than any other shirt that I have owned. The prices are extremely fair, and probably less than department stores for the higher end materials.
I would buy again without hesitation, both for work or special events.

I highly recommend MyTailor, especially if you live in Orange County and wear bespoke clothing. It is extremely convenient to have the benefit of going to their showroom and meeting with the guys as needed. That said they travel around north america stopping at all of the major metropolises, so you dont have to be in SoCal.
Joe, Divij, and Bishan have been nothing but the best in terms of fitting, directing me to things that suit me, listening to what I want, communication, and making me feel like a valued customer. These folks understand customer service and the value of a dollar.
I am extremely picky and Type A when it comes to almost everything, including my clothing. They have accommodated me every step of the way, even when I have requested multiple changes during the order process.
MyTailor has a very robust selection of cloths from the best names in the business such as Zegna, Loro Piana, Dormeuil, Ariston, Cacciopolli, VBC, etc…
Price ranges for everyone. You can pay $ 899 for a suit or $ 8999 for a suit. It all depends on what your budget is. Way cheaper than garments at half the quality in Nordstrom or even Saks.
Since I have let MyTailor take over my wardrobe, I have been the best dressed man in my circles. Non-​stop compliments from both women and men. Even other tailors and workers at high end clothing shops at South Coast and in Las Vegas have commented on the quality and fit of my suits and jackets.
One piece of advice– Be Patient. Getting you completely «dialed in» will likely take some time. It takes multiple fittings and adjustments to get things close to perfect. If you go in understanding this, you will save yourself some frustration. I can assure you that once they have your nuances and preferences figured out, you will look like a million bucks. Even if your body changes they can make the adjustments to accommodate you.
You will find that dressing well, in clothes that fit you properly, and that flatter your body type will give you the same feeling as getting in shape and taking care of your body. If you are like me, you will feel better about yourself when you walk out of your door in the morning dressed well. I have found that being well dressed ultimately results in added confidence. Confidence has a way for me and maybe you to elevate yourself at this game called «life». Who wouldn’t want that? Dressing well goes beyond just wearing clothes that fit.

Ordered my first MTM suit from them. Divij carefully took the time to take my measurements and provided me with advice on what I should look for with my garment. From my experience working with them, you can tell that they really put a lot of thoughts into the design of your garment. After my first suit came out, I thought the garment looked perfect. Yet, Divij took the initiatives and told me that he would like to have a couple of things adjusted to give my suit even more shape for my body type. I have been more than satisfied with both the products and the service so far. Just put my second order in for a jacket. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Can’t say enough positive things about their suits and service. If you live in a major metro area, Divij Hemrajani is probably headed to you quarterly. Sign up online for a fitting appointment, and he will impress you with his knowledge of fabrics, styles, and cuts. Thirty-​minute appointments introduce you to available fabrics, a full fitting, and pricing consultation. They usually run closer to an hour with late PM appointments usually backing up a bit.
Suit and shirt prices range from moderate to high-​end, but still are a bit less than Brooks Brothers’ Made to Measure (MTM) suits. Compared to MTM, its a toss-​up which one comes out on top.
From in-​person fitting to mail delivery is usually 2 months. Live re-​fitting (if necessary) happens when Divij returns to your metro area, with mail delivery a few weeks afterwards. The original fitting is done so well that a second fitting usually only entails touch up work.

I happened to find mytailor on Unilocal and I am so glad I did! I was sick of wasting money on buying dress shirts that don’t fit me perfectly. For example, my last few dress shirts from hugo were either too tight on the chest or baggy on the arms and waist or too short or long. I ordered 6 custom shirts from mytailor. I went in for a fitting and they were so precise with all the details. I chose the neck style, fabric, buttons, stitching, and even got my monogram stitched on my cuffs. The shirts fit perfectly and now when I need more, I can easily order the exact shirt I want.

Great Shirts! Got measured in house and ordered 4 shirts. The samples shirt was perfect. On my request they sent to 3 remaining shirts to my New York hotel while I was there on business.

After researching companies in the MTM suit/​shirt market like Black Lapel, Suit Supply, and Proper Suit I decided to pull the trigger on Hemrajani Bros. at MyTailor. I did so after doing a lot of research online (
) and because of the excellent meeting/​fitting I had with Joe and his son Shawn in San Jose.
Both Joe and Shawn spent a great deal of time with me going over every detail of how I would be using my wardrobe (e.g. would I be doing a lot of travelling) and what I was looking for fit wise. I ordered a sports jacket and two shirts for my first order knowing that if I liked the finished product I would follow with an order for two suits and additional shirts.
A little over a month later I received the shirts and jacket. The shirts fit perfectly!!! The jacket… not so much. I worked with Divij (Joe’s other son) and quickly realized that the problem with the jacket’s fitting was due to my novice inability to articulate the correct «fit» I was going for. After a brief «Jacket 101» lesson from Divij and Shawn, I was able to proficiently explain exactly what I wanted and the jacket was shipped off to HK for a work over.
Luckily, I spend a lot of time in SoCal so I was able to come into the Costa Mesa storefront 2 times to get the jacket (which would serve as the «template» for future orders) just right. I am a little OCD but both Divij and Shawn were incredibly patient and worked with me to get everything just the way I wanted. The time spent fine tuning every detail of my jacket and the knowledge I gained from working with Divij and Shawn have been invaluable and I know I would not have gotten close to the level of service, or same quality of product, from any other MTM company.
I’ve since ordered additional shirts and two suits from MyTailor and could not feel more confident in the value of every penny spent! Thank you Divij and Shawn, you guys are amazing and you have made me a lifelong customer!!!

I’m quite obsessed with suits. I notice details the vast majority of men couldn’t care less about, like width of lapel, buttoning position, height of the gorge, etc. Anyways, I saw a suit from a newer high-​end designer in a movie, and wanted one just like it. Unfortunately, I’m not yet in a position to buy a $ 5K suit from a store. I had ordered from Mytailor before, but it had been a while. So I printed out a handful of still shots from the film and asked Joe to copy it exactly, using English wool. It only took one month, and the suit was exactly what I wanted. Every detail was spot on. So whether you’re a clothing aficionado like me, or you just want to get one nice suit that you can use for both business settings and evenings in the city, I highly recommend trying Mytailor instead going off the rack.

I thought I had reviewed mytailor previously, but I hadn’t! In a way that’s good because they’ve made me more things since then, and those things have all been fantastic. Therefore, I can speak even more to how great this place is.
If you like clothes, this «store,» which is really more of a storefront, is more incredible than almost anywhere on earth. For very reasonable prices (usually half of canali/​zegna, and way less than what the really overpriced high end brands want) you can get made to measure suits, coats, trousers, or shirts. Fully canvassed suits, virtually bespoke shirts and trousers. They have more fabric books than anywhere I’ve ever seen. All the way from poly blend cheapies to Thomas Mason Silver to the back of the Alumo book (²⁰⁰⁄₂ cottons that feel like silk) and in suiting, they’ve got the precious Minnis Fresco book. If you’re in here getting a suit made, pick Fresco 0516. There’s nothing better. There’s also all manner of H&S, Lesser, and Harrisons.
The only negative is that there is so much stuff to choose from. I often spend an hour+ with Rishi, trying to pick exact shades of blue or comparing the various cost to niceness ratios of a fabric. It takes the usual 4 – 8 weeks to get your order in once you pick everything out, and waiting sucks. But it’s so much more worth it than getting something crappy off the rack.

I’m a young professional and I’ve visited MyTailor in Costa Mesa about 10 times over the past 5 months. Parking is easy. The office is nice and clean.
I had the pleasure to work with Joe, Rishi, Bhishan, and Divij. The staff at MyTailor never once tried to sell me something I didn’t ask for. Their only concern was meeting my goals. And my goals were met 100% and then exceeded.
I placed orders 4 times totaling just under $ 10,000. Joe thought $ 10,000 in clothes was too much to spend at one time and suggested I spend less money and build my wardrobe slowly. But I wanted everything now.
I replaced my entire wardrobe with the following from MyTailor: suits, dress shirts, oxford cloth button down casual shirts, wool slacks, belts, and even cufflinks.
The only items I needed to purchase elsewhere: ties, shoes, and socks.
The quality of MyTailor fabric is impeccable. I notice a significant improvement in the look of suits I purchased from MyTailor when compared to my previous suits from Nordstrom. In fact, when I went to Nordstrom during Christmas, I found that my suits, shirts, and slacks from MyTailor were higher quality than everything Nordstrom had available for sale. Since finding MyTailor I no longer shop at Nordstrom.

. During my day I notice the smooth feeling of high quality wool and cotton rubbing lightly against my skin. When I brush my suits at the end of the day and hang them, I find that wrinkles release from MyTailor suits better than they did with my suits from Nordstrom.
I asked Joe to look at my existing suits and slacks from Nordstrom and he encouraged me to bring them in. Joe helped me decide which of my old garments to keep. I appreciate Joe’s sense of style and his advice was spot on. Joe then had his tailor redo these clothes completely (since I had lost a significant amount of weight since buying these suits a few years ago). So in addition to the new MyTailor suits I purchased, my old suits are also now a perfect fit!
The most memorable part of my experience at MyTailor was the pleasure I had when interacting with the staff.
Everyone at MyTailor did an excellent job taking my measurements and spent time with me explaining the subtle variations of bespoke and made to measure clothing. For example, Joe helped me pick a beautiful lining for each jacket I purchased. And Divij suggested I add darts to my shirts. There was no charge for any of this.
I am particular about details and the staff at MyTailor went back and forth with me several times until I was satisfied. The staff is easily accessible in person and also promptly replied to all my email inquiries. Joe even replied to my emails while he was across the globe in Hong Kong personally looking after my order.
MyTailor accommodated my requests to make changes to orders already in production and never made a negative comment to me for making these requests. I appreciate the extra effort they made to ensure I was happy.
I can’t say enough about my positive experience with MyTailor. My new clothes are the best in the world. And they are a perfect fit. I also learned a lot about men’s clothing throughout this time.

I am not a clotheshorse. And I’d been wearing the same inexpensive ($ 100 full price) odd jacket for years to the point where even I was embarrassed at the hole in the elbow and the obvious worn-​away fabric at all creases, cuffs etc.
Yet the fit — totally by chance — was perfect; I had stumbled on a jacket which fit my body and looked great.
I’d looked for a NEW similar jacket of similar cut in all the best men’s stores — Nordstrom, Brooks etc — but no dice. Just didn’t quite fit.
What to do? A friend suggested having a tailor custom-​make it. I laughed at first but then stumbled on My Tailor.
Met Rishi on his tour to Seattle. Showed him the jacket: «Can you clone it?»
«Sure. Except I might just modify this one measurement here.»
He suggested a fabric and while I fiddled around (several weeks) with choices from the fabric books, I ultimately accepted it.
I am VERY HAPPY with the jacket. The workmanship seems (to an amateur of course) seems excellent — every seam and detail clean and tight and neat. I wear it even when I don’t need to (wear a sport coat) just because I like the way I feel in it.
I am planning on another NEW jacket with slightly upgraded fabric from My Tailor even though I am semiretired and don’t need to wear much more than fleece. (Literally about the fleece: I live in Seattle and wear a suit once a year, maybe, and the nice suit I have from Brooks will last another ten years even though it won’t look as good as my new jacket from Rishi and his family.)
I was dubious about the whole custom fit process but it worked for me. Maybe try it first with an EXISTING pair of pants or a jacket which they can clone first?

MyTailor may be the only place that will do custom women’s blouses/​shirts. Joe is always very helpful whenever I come in to get some dress shirts for work made. He helps me pick out patterns and materials and has a keen eye for what would look good. It’s difficult for women since all of the material/​print/​color are geared towards men (it is a men’s bespoke tailor afterall), but Joe always has suggestions about what patterns and colors could work. So far, he’s been spot on! His shirts are awesome in terms of fitment and build.
His pants though could use a little more QA. The clasp and zippers on the pants feel a little cheapy. The zippers are more thin and a bit flimsy compared to slacks that are sold at like BR or Ann Taylor. The clasp are also sewn on to the belt fabric from the outside vs being sewn in between the material. I’ve had a few fall off already, got resewn and then fell off again. If it was sewn between the materials, then there’s no where for the clasp to fall off unless it straight rips out of the belt lining. The back pocket buttons are also sewn on a bit cheaply too. One of my buttons are about to fall off. They don’t sit as flush to the pants and stick out a little too much. Otherwise, fit, finish and materials are excellent. Just need to work on the zippers, clasp and back pocket buttons and his pants will be stellar!
Price wise, it’s pretty expensive for women’s shirts/​blouse than it is for guys. There’s more details that go into make a woman’s shirt and it takes a bit longer, hence the higher $ compared to men’s shirts. Pricing is also dependent on the type of material that you choose too.

I am getting married in August and was referred to Joe by a friend. I live in San Jose Ca, so I scheduled a fitting when Joe was in the area. It was my first bespoke suit experience so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was a really cool experience. We had tons of options to go through, but it was super easy. We received my suit several weeks later and it was beautiful. I wanted to make some slight adjustments and was able to meet with Joe’s sun Divij, who was very helpful in suggesting ways to get the suit just perfect. I haven’t received the final suit, but will update everyone when I do. Overall, I highly recommend my tailor!
Update: I just received my tailored suit and I CANNOT be happier. All of the adjustments turned out great. Thanks again Joe and Divij!

I have bought many off the rack shirts from various high end stores, and have never been satisfied with how they fit me. I just wasn’t ok with an «ok» fit. After a fair bit of research I made an appointment with MyTailor, was fully measured and ordered 3 shirts. They arrived on time and fit perfectly, they look great! The tailor I saw was helpful, professional, and overall it went very smoothly.

MyTailor made me a fantastic bespoke tuxedo for my wedding and I absolutely loved it. It had all the neopolitan Isaia cut features I was looking for and it far exceeded my expectations. My wife was very impressed with how I looked and on my wedding day I felt like I belonged on the red carpet. It draped so well and the Italian wool felt like a amazing cashmere blend. Rishi was incredibly helpful and always professional, above Nordstroms in customer service. Thank you Rishi and MyTailor. When Susy asks me what I want for Christmas, I will say a suit from MyTailor!!!

So this is an update to a previous review I had written regarding Mytailor. The same day I posted my review, I received a message from Joe as well as Rishi regarding the delay of my fiancé’s suit and that they were looking into why it was so delayed. A few days later, they did admit that they should have communicated better as to why it was taking them so long (the fabric he chose was on backorder) and they wanted to make it right by giving him either a giftcard or custom made shirt. They promised his suit would be done in 2 weeks. My fiancé’ did call several times before I posted my negative review with no explanation as to the status of the suit, so I was still sorta disappointed that it took a negative review on my part in order to get a response. I feel like if a customer expresses concerns, whether by phone or by public forum, it should be addressed with the same sense of urgency. Nonetheless, my fiancé’ did finally get his suit when they promised and he absolutely LOVES it. He has big shoulders so it’s hard to find a store-​bought pre-​sized suit that will fit him perfectly, even if it’s the correct size and after having it tailored it still never fits him right. He told me that this is the best quality suit by FAR and that it fits him so well he would never consider buying a pre-​sized suit ever again! We have decided to have his Tuxedo made by them as well for our wedding, so I’m just hoping it comes in on time! Thanks My Tailor, you have created a custom made suit monster! Looking forward to doing business with you and thank you for making things right.

Joe is the bomb. He comes up to SF and gets a suite at the Hyatt on Market every few months. I go in tell him what I want and he helps me pick some styles and fabrics. He measures me up to make sure I haven’t gained too much from all the Unilocal eateries that I frequent and in a few weeks… presto… everything is delivered to my office. His prices are so reasonable (not cheap), that I don’t go anywhere else to get my threads. I’ve gotten suits, sportcoats, shirts, and even a tuxedo done by Joe. Joe has an eye for quality fabrics and what colors work well together. The fit is always impeccable. Like I mentioned earlier his prices are reasonable, and so I have a hard time buying clothes (except for casual t-​shirts and jeans) off the rack when I can get them custom tailored at about the same price.

I was skeptical to take the plunge into online bespoke, but I didn’t want to pay horrendous amounts of cash for just a shirt. Nonetheless, the fashion forums rave about how great the quality of the clothes were, so I placed an order. Now I have enough dress shirts for weeks, and a good set of suits to alternate with — all of which created and designed according to my body’s dimensions. When I found out that their office was near south coast, I got my measurements taken and checked out the fabrics first hand. It’s true what they say about custom clothes — once you go bespoke, you never go back.
