Nayelli has an amazing energy and I feel so refreshed everytime I walk out of my massage with her! She is very in tune with the body and has helped me through neck and low back injuries with massage and yoga poses — and for that I’m forever thankful! If your looking for a great massage therapist or yoga instructor Nayelli is your girl!

Thirty one years ago at the age of 18 I injured my neck during a swimming accident, I suffer with acute pain in the neck area daily — sometimes the pain is so disabling it makes me feel extremely nauseous. I have tried many forms of treatment and therapy to reduce the injury/​pain and have occasionally found temporary relief — but ultimately I still always had some degree of pain and within a few hours the agony would be back. It was a vicious cycle of muscle relaxants, anti-​inflammatory pills, hot water bags, acupuncture, acupressure, Chiro services… you name it I’ve tried it!
I never pondered on cost, today out of curiosity I thought about it, wow thousands upon thousands upon thousands & NO TRUE relief! Not cool! The reason I thought about cost today was because Nayelli is so reasonable that the cost brick hit me! I wish I would have connected with Nayelli years ago!!! THE GOOD NEWS …my cousin that is a V.P. to a hospital in Ca. connected me with Nayelli… TODAY for the 1^st time I am FINALLY feeling hopeful :)

After my first session with Nayelli I knew I was on the road to feeling significantly better! I can actually turn my neck to the right without discomfort for the first time since the accident! I repeat — 1^st time since the accident which would take us back 31 years!!!

When I arrived at Nayelli’s my whole system was running on empty due to all my energy being invested in dealing with yet ANOTHER painful situation, yup, now I am also dealing with a bout of TMJ!

Suddenly, I was SOOOOO RELAXED (which is not to be overlooked, when a high degree of neck pain is present being worked on is difficult as 1 feels like their going to lose their cookies). In the past I flinched & braced myself for extreme discomfort, NOT this time! Nayelli instructed me on how to exhale properly during the neck work (as I was exhaling in a manner that was not conducive for my TMJ) this lady knows her stuff! NOT 1 time did I feel «yuk this is painful» she is phenomenally in tune with one’s body.
Nayelli is not just a masseuse — she is a total body therapist!
She uses many different massage techniques and modalities designed for each of her clients individual needs. She is a total professional and a genuinely caring individual, believe me it’s very evident this is her passion! She does not give up, she continues trying different forms UNTIL the muscle surrenders.
The burning of sage… omg, I felt like my body was turning to mush (pliable, for once) …the essential oil combos Nayelli concocts are so yummy! I went from a concrete stiff state to feeling light & soooooo calm. It was awesome!
I feel confident (finally) that with continued treatments I will be able to live my life again to the full. I feel blessed to have Nayelli, someone with such skills, instinct and talent. Extraordinary and amazing in the true meaning of the words. Thank you Nayelli.

Absolutely amazing massage therapist/​body worker!
Nayelli is friendly, strong, and extremely knowledgable about the body. I have struggled with mid and lower back pain with sciatica and this past time when my back went in to complete spasm I was barely able to move and was in extreme pain. I found Nayelli and after the first session I was already looser, in less pain and able to move easier. Nayelli customized my massages based upon my pain and after the second session my pain was decreased enormously. Additionally, Nayelli took the time to talk with me each time to see how I was feeling, educated me about various stretches that would help my back, and created a customized treatment plan just for me.
Nayelli truly cares about her clients and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgable massage therapist/​body worker. She is the only person I will go to for therapeutic massages now!

Truly one of the most knowledgeable bodyworkers I have been to over the years.
I have over a decade of experience as a bodyworker myself, with my own private practice, so my standards are way high. I know what I am looking for in a therapist and can get extremely picky at times. My major issues were having sciatica, a lot of scar tissue on my calves, and tight Achilles. Nayelli utilized her knowledge and performed great techniques giving me great results. My calves were doing the happy dance the next day. Not even my favorite massage therapist can do the same for me.
I really appreciate her willingness to communicate and customize every session based on what my needs were each time. Her warm and friendly personality was a huge plus and I felt real comfortable with her… It’s time for another visit.

Abigail was searching Unilocal the other day for Trigger Point Massage in Long Beach and found Nayelli Cardenas.
She went down for a massage and had great things to say about her so I thought I would go for a visit.
I had neck surgery on Jan 30^th and it is going sideways a little bit. I am back in physical therapy but to tell you the honest truth, I am just to damn lazy to do all that PT stuff! I would prefer to have somebody just get in there and make the muscles move!
I talked to Nayelli and she told me I could basically come right on down in a few hours which was perfect! She is working out of a spa on Second Street in Long Beach called Executive Fitness & Med Spa and I thought the place was pretty nice.
I forgot how nice a massage is because the whole point is actually relaxing your brain and your body. The sounds and the waterfalls and all that stuff are a very nice touch.
I told Nayelli about surgery and she dug right in and got to work. She was gentle but firm and very professional.
I was so relaxed I think I drooled through the little donut hole opening!! LOL
Towards the end of the massage, she started on my feet and noted that my body really like having pressure released through my feet. This was something that I have not heard before and I look forward to exploring this more.

My neck and shoulders freeze up from time to time because of my work and Nayelli not only works out my problems she will tell me exactly how I’m standing and holding my tool’s wrong. She then explained what it’s doing to my muscles and how to prevent and correct these problems. She’s brilliant, I didn’t even give her a clue, she is just that intuitive to the body. I would defiantly like to emphasize that she knows what’s going on with the body and she fixes it.

Nayelli is an amazing massage therapist! I’ve been going to her since 2004. She is really strong and seems to intuitively know exactly what I need whenever she works on me. She never gives me a formulaic massage — it’s always customized to what I need. Although she really gets deep into my muscles, there’s just something about her technique and personality that is incredibly relaxing at the same time. I can’t recommend her enough!

Nayelli truly has a gift. The first time that I had work done by her, she was incredibly responsive to my body and its needs. She is well-​versed in several different types of massage, and she sometimes administers a mix of treatments during a single session. She alleviated pain from a military injury in my shoulder that I had since 2002 by mixing rolfing and fire cupping. It was incredible!
It’s also quite shocking when you get up from your first session and realize how tiny she is! One would think she’s 6 feet tall by her strength and stamina. She is an amazing little ball of love. I am blessed to have found her!

Nayelli is a fantastic massage therapist!!! She is very intune with what your bodies needs and uses the appropriate pressure and technique. She has a gentle and happy spirit, and overall is a pleasure to be around! My husband and I both enjoy treatments from Nayelli and highly reccomend her!

Recently, I spent some time in OC visiting family and was looking for a massage therapist to help with a sports-​related shoulder injury. My sister gave a glowing review about a massage she had few months ago with Nayelli and gave me Nayelli’s business card. I called the phone number (it was the main number to a spa) and when I finally reached someone, I was told she no longer worked there. Disappointment! I informed my sister who was determined to find Nayelli and next thing you know, I got a link to Unilocal and to her contact information.
Nayelli was professional, yet friendly on the phone and asked me what issues I was having. After telling her about the injury, we scheduled an appointment for later that week. My appointment was at the Spa d’Orange on North Tustin Ave. When we met, Nayelli was welcoming and knowledgeable about my injury. Before the massage, she had me stand up to check my shoulder and hip alignment. I knew that the massage was not going to be the relaxing therapeutic massages that I was accustomed to getting, which was fine because my priority was to address the injury. During my one-​hour massage, Nayelli focused on my upper body, always making sure to ask whether the pressure was too much, which I appreciated. I preferred having more pressure because of muscle tightness. Towards the end of the massage, she incorporated more relaxing elements, a nice way to wind down the session. I was extremely pleased with the massage and even got to use a Unilocal deal to pay for the first session!
I subsequently went to Nayelli three more times in the span of 2 weeks. Although it will take a while for a full-​recovery, I feel as though progress was made. Sadly, I live in the Northeast and couldn’t take Nayelli with me. She’s truly an amazing massage therapist. I learned from her website that appointment days are Tuesdays-​Sundays; she came in twice on Mondays to accommodate my schedule — I don’t know anyone else who would do that. I’ll be calling her when I visit again. Nayelli is experienced, professional, and just plain awesome.
