Our first time here was a pleasant experience. Nice, clean environment; Sapporo on draft; wide selection on menu. We ordered spicy basil chicken and vegetables, and pineapple, beef red curry. Both were excellent. We will be back!

Came here for lunch today with my co-workers. I have been to Nimmarn several times before but only for dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very arid and comfortable with comfy booths and tables. Perfect for co-workers to go out and have lunch. The service was okay, a bit slow for my liking. I had to get up to ask for chopsticks after my food was delivered. I think they should have them out on the tables for guests to use if they choose to avoid this inconvenience. I ordered the green curry lunch special extra spicy. It was very sweet and full of flavor. However, they only put in one tiny piece of eggplant and not much chicken in the dish. I would be fine with paying $ 2 more for a larger more generous portion. Overall, this place is a decent spot to go to for lunch. I would prefer to come back for curry trio at dinner.

Just ordered the panang curry + brown rice. Curry was good but a little sweeter than usual. Rice was fluffy and yummy. Will be back!

The curry trio is amazing! Best curry I’ve had in a long time. The red and yellow were my favorites.

The two stars I awarded this establishment are solely for the spicy chicken coconut soup. It. Was. Amazing. I bought a large so I could have some for lunch the following day, but I wanted to eat the entire thing in one sitting. I also ordered the fresh rolls, which were decent at best. Definitely lacking on the chicken, I didn’t even realize there was any inside until I was nearing the end of the first roll. The lettuce, which was sadly the majority of the filling, was iceberg. Disappointing. But his is what really got me. I’d say I’m a pretty patient person. So when they were running 15 min past the maximum wait time, I called and was very polite in asking if the driver had left. They answered yes. 15 min later, no food. I called back and they told me he had arrived. I paid $ 2 for delivery, and unfortunately, tipped high because I paid upon ordering. I felt hey were careless in their punctuality, which speaks volumes. If I ever go back, I will definitely not order delivery.

Every time I come here there’s only like 3 couples of less here(: I always get either Pad See Ew or Pad Thai and I love them both so much! I always get the deep fried ice cream, I highly recommend it! However, there’s just something that prevents me from giving it a fifth star. It’s always good every time I come though.

Idk why I’m just getting around to this review but I visited this place on NYE2015 fresh off of my flight from Texas and it was exactly what I was needed. I’m an avid Thai food eater and I’ve been to Thailand so I can usually tell what part of Thailand the owners/chefs are from based on the taste and this place is pretty good, but not so much authentic. at least for one of my dishes. Beef noodle soup or kuy teaw(sp?) is a staple in Thai cuisine but this restaurant’s version just reminded me of phở which is a Vietnamese dish. I personally feel like it was only this way too because of the region I was in and the popularity of phở around there. Regardless my second dish, ka prow gai kai dow or Thai basil chicken w/a fried egg on top was pretty spot on as far as flavors so I really enjoyed that. The happy hour is really awesome too. I definitely will be back next time I’m in the area.

The food here is delicious. The service is always great as well. I usually order the pad Thai with tofu or the yellow curry. I would definitely consider this the best local Thai place. Their watermelon juice is super fresh and delicious and is served in a hollowed watermelon. I live nearby and when I order delivery it is always prompt and accompanied by friendly service.

Food is amazing, delivery is free(and very fast)… I crave this place sometimes :) gotta try — coconut soup, spicy basil meal, and especially the thai iced tea. only dislike, their meals are a la carte, so don’t forget to order rice!

Can I give 0 stars!?! What an AWFUL experience. 6:30pm — ordered three dishes on the Unilocal App. Message says 45 minutes until delivery. 7:33pm — No food. Call the restaurant and she says that it is on its way, already left for delivery. 7:45 — I call again, they let it ring and don’t pick up. I call back 5 times same thing. 7:55 — my friend calls and they pick up his number immediately. She claims that the driver just left 5 minutes ago and should be there in 5 minutes. 8:07 — they ignore my messages to NOT knock on the main door and do it anyway so my downstairs neighbors coordinate the drop off. The food is cold to the touch. I open all the boxes and instead of tofu, as requested, everything has chicken in it!!! Never again. Awful awful awful. I am starving and waiting for the manager to call me back so he can refund my $ 40!!!

More like 3.5 stars but I will bump it up an extra half a star because the delivery was so quick. It was one of those days were I just couldn’t get out of the office for lunch. I ordered off my eat 24 app and I was impressed with how quick they were. Super impressed the delivery guy even found exactly what floor to deliver to because my building is confusing. I had the pad see ew which was very delicious and piping hot. I also ordered the egg rolls and didn’t care for the flavor for those too much. Overall, great service.

Came in here between classes on a weekday. It was completely empty but that didn’t worry me too much since it was late for lunch time. I love Thai restaurants during lunch hours because they always have the best deals. My favorite soup is Tom Kha, so I have tried it at dozens of restaurants by this point. The one here is good. Nothing special, but still hits the spot. I got the spicy basil beef for the main. It was a good flavor but to be honest it wasn’t that spicy. All the workers are very nice and attentive! Glad that this is so close to campus

Simple Thai fare that fills the hunger. Nimmarn is a place for the pad thai and satay skewer fix. Its a cozy little sit down that has its hits and misses, but food is good and nicely portioned. Staff is average, and the service can be slow, but nonetheless, the food is served hot and presentable. The hubbster and I came on a Tuesday evening where is wasn’t crowded. We enjoyed Sapporo’s from the Happy Hour menu and went with traditional pad Thai, chicken skewers, and Mongolian beef. Food was flavorful and filling. Dining area was clean and roomy. Perks: Portions are decent for the $$. Beer and Wine are available for dine-in. Delivery options are available at this location thru Eat24 and Grub hub. Check out their website. Downsides: Not sure if its short staffing, or family run operation, but it seems to be one server for the entire dining area, which may be the reason for slow wait times. But nothing too bad, its tolerable. OverALL: A-OK. Not bad, but not EPIC either. Good food, decent price. Worth a try for a night.

My mother and I came here a couple weeks ago and were very impressed. Very delicious food. We got the creamy coconut chicken soup to start, the green curry as our entrée, and then the mango sticky rice dessert. All three courses were exceptional. Our waitress was very sweet and took good care of us. I look forward to coming back!

Was in a hotel in the area, used the Eat24 app to order from here. Delivery was reasonable… no delivery charge and only a $ 15 minimum. Chose the angel wings and pad woon sen. Perfect heat on the pad woon sen, lots of stuff in it, but no real flavor… disappointing. The angel wings couldn’t have been made in house… likely frozen or made days in advance. Imagine fried chicken that has sat too long. Oh well.

I would give this restaurant lower ratings if I could! We live less than 3 miles away and our food took over an hour and a half to deliver! We called the restaurant to check on our order: the first time they hung up on us, and we called back 5x’s because we wanted to speak to management. The restaurant screened our call until we called from a different number! Eventually we gave up and eventually, our order came. The food was OK, and definitely not worth the grief. PS: We told this story to our neighbor who had the same experience! Be forewarned!

We came here recently on a late December evening(after finding it on Unilocal) as we were in the mood for some nice Thai cuisine. So not knowing if it would be busy I called ahead of time to reserve a spot. We arrived here to find a warm nicely decorated place with a few people eating at some neighbouring tables. Thai food for me is one of our favourites as it usually packed with tongue tingling flavour, sweet salty and spice usually mixed up in a meal. We went ahead and selected the spring rolls as an appetizer, then two dishes for my wife and I. Chicken Penang curry and Beef drunken noodles. For my daughter she had a wonton noodle soup(more Chinese). Spring rolls came out and tasted a bit bland but the peanut sauce made up for it as it was super flavourful. Next the major dishes came out. The chicken Penang curry was okay but nothing memorable. Sauce was very creamy but lacked the complex flavour that we are used to in a Penang curry. The drunken noodles were good, sweet and a medium spicy. Probably the highlight was my daughter’s wonton noodle soup. It had a very nice amazing broth that was chicken based but with garlic is was plentiful and really tasted really hearty and comforting. To wash it all down I had a Thai Ice tea which was creamy and a nice full tea flavour. Restaurant atmosphere was nice and not too loud and crazy. What we were looking for on a night out with the kids. I’d call this a solid 3.5 out of 5. Some good some not as good but overall not crazy expensive and ka-pow Thai flavour.
