Palm Beach Tan

I’m not reviewing this specific Palm Beach location. I never had issues with the individuals inside the locations, and they were mostly helpful. I’m reviewing the corporate office, which is utterly terrible. If you move, and don’t cancel, you get seriously screwed. It’s nearly impossible to cancel a membership. In this day and age, they still don’t allow cancelling over the phone or online. Its absurd, and it’s like dealing with a place from 1950. Ridiculous.

My rating is simply based on customer service. I have not had time to come in for the last 3 months. When I tried to go in and cancel the girl told me she would freeze my account and then credit me 3 months of not being charged since I had only been in all about once.
The following month came around and I was charged, again. I called and they said they would freeze my account, again, and again be credited another two months since I have not been in to tan in 3!
And now a new month has started and again today I was charged!!! I am so irritated. I was told I would not be charged and have since been charged every single month. I have spoken to their manager and she was the one who said I would not be charged and now today all their assistant manager could tell me was that she would have her manager contact me but that was all she could do for me and would not issue me a refund! I think the customer service here is horrible. I am leaving out of the country and the last thing I want to worry about is being charged for another month! I just wanted a refund I am so tired of being charged $ 50/​month and I have only tanned twice!!!
You blew it palm beach tan, I hope the manager actually contacts me again and gives me my well deserved refund. If not, corporate will definitely be hearing from me.

Summer has outstanding customer service skills! She is always super sweet and kind when I go in. She seems genuinely interested in how you are doing and makes you feel welcome. Love the room #5 tanning bed. Its one of the higher level ones and it works wonders! I love my tan.

LOVE this salon. It is clean and the new manager there is so nice. I swear she knows everyone by name and they all know her back. I bought a really great Mystic lotion and it works great. Always feel welcomed there and I walk out looking hot! This place isn’t like other tanning places. It’s super busy but she manages it right and you never have to wait long at all. Check it out! The Mystic is great and is one of the cleanest I’ve seen. They know exactly what colors to mix in based on what you want.

I come to this location at least 3 – 4 times a week. I absolutely love coming to this location, because the employees are super nice and knowledgable! Summer is usually always the manager on duty and I just love her. She’s always smiling, and super sweet!!! Her customer service is on point. Her other employees are all also super friendly and helpful! I would recommend anyone to this location at anytime!

I officially got my first spray tan and I am happy to say it was here. Alexandria at the front desk really knew her stuff, and as someone who was a little nervous it was really appreciated. It was probably one of the strangest things I have done but all in all I am pretty happy with the results. I will probably go back before another big event where I want to look my best!

Love the girls at this location! Summer is so welcoming and always remembers my husband and my name which is awesome in our book! Love the customer service. Keep up the great work ladies.

I’ve been tanning at palm beach tan for months now and just wanted to give a shout out to the manager Sumer. She is always friendly and so accommodating. She’s always professional and works so well with her other employees. Thank you Sumer for always being kind and showing people what true customer service is always about.

They are full of tricks to pull out money from your account. Very tricky be careful. All the girls there have different answers to a same question and confused me. When i signed up, they tried to charge me extra 20 $ and I asked the girl what is it used for and she said «oh it is just the fee that every body has to pay»
If you really want to buy tanning products, order from amazon at least 20 – 40 $ cheaper than theirs.
If you want to cancel your membership, they dont do it for you, you will have to call their cooperate office. If you freeze your account they charge at least 7 $ monthly, and you cant use it towards monthly membership which is so weird. You can only use it towards their overly priced products.

I have coming here for nearly 2 months, I have the unlimited spray tan package. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the place is clean. I have one complaint about the consistency of my tans. Today I upgraded as I did for my last tan to a triple mocha with excelerator, which cost an extra $ 15. The sunkiss tan the package comes with leaves me very red so I always uphrade. 5 hours later my tan is not noticeable at all. This has happened to me a few times. Each time I mention it to the staff they upsell me on products to help insure a better tan. I go in freshly scrubbed with no lotions. About half the time the tan is acceptable. Tonight was another hudge disappointment. I feel that somehow I am not receiving what I am upgrading to as well as an inconsistent product.

Palm Beach Tan really exceeded my expectations.
I came in and talked with Lexi and Elizabeth they told me all about the different tanning beds that PBT offers and their pricing packages. I was really impressed with the quality of the tanning beds that PBT offers, the cleanliness of the location and the knowledgeable friendly staff. Palm beach tan is doing things right and my results speak for themself.

The whole pro rate thing is dumb tho any other tanning place you go to you can buy one month of tanning with no extra charge. I just moved here and I went in there and was explained everything besides the fact that they charge your card monthly for an extra pro rate and monthly fees. I handed her the card then she told me about all the extra charges they had. I then asked her for my card back and told her that I was not looking for that just a months tan. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. Too me it seemed like you were signing into a gym membership and that’s not what I wanted. This place is gorgeous but not worth the extra charges and commitment. This place is for people that want to be charged all year long not for me when the beach is so close not worth it. Very upset due to this is the closest place to my house going to have to drive farther for a place that will let me pay by month with no extra charge. A complete waste of my time and I walked out with no tan. Maybe if there was a more affordable route I would’ve taken it but I didn’t see any way out of getting my card charged monthly by this place. I really was looking forward to try this place out but there was no way for me too without becoming a member I wasn’t presented any other option.

Sumer was incredibly helpful in planning the best tanning for my upcoming wedding. She was able to manage me as well as the other customers coming into the store at the same time. I would HIGHLY recommend PBT to anyone looking to get a little color. I was in the amazing top bed and it was worth every penny. Sumer was patient with me and incredibly accommodating. She knows the product well and is able to make you feel at ease.

I was referred to this tanning salon by a friend of mine, she kept telling me how great the places is so I finally went. When I went to see the facility The girls were very inviting. I had a few questions and the girls answered all of them and informed me about other skincare products that would benefit my tattoos. I’ve been going to this place for about a month now and I’m extremely happy with it. I’m a tall guy so a lot of tanning beds don’t fit me, but they have a standup tanning bed it’s tall enough for me. Woot woot. Lol

Great tanning salon, I highly recommend it. Summer the manager is awesome. I’m bummed out I’m leaving the area and terminating my membership.

Love the ease of coming here even during my lunch breaks. The beds are always clean and readily available. I wish there was a closer location to me in south county though! All the girls are super helpful and their tanning tips have yet to disappoint.
I recently tried the spray tan and I’ve become a new fan. Now I want to keep my golden bronzed skin from the spray tan instead of having to tan all the time! Highly considering upgrading just for this feature. I do wish headphones were provided, and on some beds the music outlet doesn’t work very well.
Other than that i’m very happy with my experience here!

I have been tanning at Palm Beach Tan for about 6 months now ans absolutely love my experience so far. Just this past Saturday I came to tan and had forgotten to bring my tanning lotion. Galina went above and beyond her job to work with me on choosing a product and even offered me the last tanning spray (unopened) she had purchased earlier in the day because she wanted me to try it. Not sure what sort of training Palm Beach offers their employees, but way to go! Some of the best customer service I’ve witnessed in a long time!

The spray tans are really good here along with the stand up bed. As for the employees the customer service is really slow and they usually have new people all the Time so it takes forever just to get in the bed. Great place for tanning the employees just need to learn how to do their job Better and stop going through so many people and hire people who can actually learn there job fast and do it without always having someone to help them! If it wasn’t for the machines I wouldn’t waste My time here

Thank you for writing me back. I was already a member when your company made the change, I was upset because I was there in 22 hours just 2 hours before «my allowed time» she asked me to leave and come back in 2 hours. This is bad customer service.
I just want you to know since that day I’ve gone on with out any issues.
