History

Established in 1985.

Since it’s inception RJ Tanner Construction has worked on hundreds of projects from small bathroom updates to multi million dollar estate homes.

Beginning with one employee and doing much of the work himself Jeff has built RJT Construction to include up to 30 employees and it’s own painting division. We have worked with many of the same subcontractors for 20 years or more. Remaining in Costa Mesa since the start RJT has stayed in business through the construction slow down in the early 1990’s as well as the recent economic down turn. We have built strong relationships and have contracted with many of our clients on several projects.

Business Owner

Jeff Graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BA degree in Industrial Arts and taught High School Industrial Arts and Math for two years. Jeff then began work as a Lead Carpenter and project Supervisor for commercial and residential builders in and around Orange County. After almost ten years working for others Jeff began branching out on his own and formed RJ Tanner Construction in Costa Mesa. Over the years RJ Tanner has completed hundreds of residential and commercial projects from small bathroom rehabs to multi million dollar estate homes and most everything in between. Jeff is a lifetime resident of Costa Mesa and volunteers time with AYSO although his three daughters no longer play soccer. When he has free time he along with his wife and daughters enjoy boating and wakeboarding at Lake Havasu.
