This place is awesome! Done all my custom framing here both for personal and commercial projects. Kevin always gave me his undivided attention to details and his recommendations are always on par with my interior designers. His pricing is also extremely competitive, even some of my interior designers have to grudgingly admitted it.

We were referred here by a coworker of my husband. I had 7 prints that I wanted to have framed. Kevin was very attentive working with us and offering suggestions. The frames were quite a bit more than I anticipated spending but I knew they’d be worth it.
I was told they should be ready in a week and he’d call. I didn’t get a call and got busy so I called 2 weeks after we ordered and was told yep they were ready for like a week. So we picked up them that day.
Bummer that 2 of my prints got mixed up and in the wrong frames (they just got flipped which frame they were supposed to be in). I live pretty far from here so I didn’t go back up. My husband just ended up changing up the plans for where we were hanging them.

Always a joy to do business with — Kevin works with all of the decorators in the area and frames some of the finest art around… He truly knows how to make the art stand-​out and has a very talented eye for the best frame for the piece of art. I would highly recommend him!

I am a wedding photographer and have been going to South Coast Art Framing for all our framing needs for 5 years now. We only use the best custom frames for our clients. There is a HUGE selection of frames and Kevin is very helpful and hands on. He’s so great that we trust him to meet with our clients one on one. We drop off the prints and our clients go in to see him at their convenience to choose out something to their taste.
He’s also very accommodating: tell him your budget and he’ll let you know which frame/​matting will fit that budget. Highly recommended!

Not impressed. As a first time customer, he did not try to help with me ideas or suggestions. Although he has a wide selection of frames, I was mostly left on my own to find a good frame. Prices were not that great either.

I wanted to frame a softball bat that my sister used when she was a kid for her bday. I went to Aaron Bros., Kim-​Art, Michael’s and Jo-Ann’s. They were all too expensive. (except for Kim-​Art which did not return my three phone calls) It ranged from $ 560 to $ 680 for a frame!!! So my friend, an art student, from Irvine Valley College, recommended this place.
It is located in a commercial center, right across from Ikea and L.A. Times on Harbor, right off the 405 freeway. They have over a thousand frame samples to choose from. I picked the one that’s very similar to what the other stores offered. And the grand total came out to be $ 205! A third of the price from the other places! It was done in less than a week, and I just can’t wait to give it to my sister!
A tip: the workers are usually in the back of the office in the factory area, so don’t hesitate to holler!
