I have never written a review about a grocery store before. But I felt the need to do so now. I go into this location about 3 – 4 times a week. Everytime I go I make it a point to stand in Lori W’s line. No matter what kind of day I’m having she always asks me about it and always puts a smile on my face. She probably won’t ever read this. But if she does. Thank you for making that location a great place to shop!

I frequently shop here and I’ve never been disappointed, everyone is always ready to help you anyway they can. By far the most superb meat department I’ve ever been to. Daniel C in the meat department is without a doubt the most friendly and precise employee I’ve ever had help me. For example, I went in there last week to get some steaks and I couldn’t have been there more than 10 seconds before he comes out with a big smile and immediately helped me. He’s gonna be manager one day, I can feel it.

Rudest checkers ever. They really could care less about helping you. If they wanted to find a way to be helpful, they could. But sadly, saying no seems to be their goal. They actually seem satisfied to turn you down; as if that were their actual service goal. Fake, no eye contact, no energy. I was buying something for my mother and when she cut out the coupon she didn’t get the bar code. 2 different checkers said«sorry, no bar code; no discount.» Really, you can’t figure out how to take $ 2 off of a transaction? Of course they could but, as usual, they’d rather say no. Unless you need something specific for their good sales, avoid at all costs.

I buy most of my weekly groceries here at staters. I bought Randall Farms chicken and it went bad before the sell by date. So I took it back. They asked me what’s wrong with it, and I said it smells terrible. They said okay no problem, go grab a new one and I’ll have a refund waiting for you. Best customer service ever! Thanks Juan C!

This is the closest market to my house so I end up doing the majority of my grocery shopping here. It’s kind of small but they have pretty much everything you need. The workers are all usually nice and pretty helpful. It doesn’t look like it’s super clean though. The most annoying thing about this place for me is that they don’t have places to bring your baskets to when you are finished in the parking lot so you have to either leave in the middle of the parking lot or bring it to the entrance.

Old and out of stock should be there motto. Not a lot on the shelves and it is just an old run down store. Unfortunately there is not a lot of competition close.

This is the best Stater Bros that I have visited. They have friendly helpful staff, the prices for most items are reasonable and they have a very good meat department. Comparing this location against the one on Newport or the once in Orange, and this one is vastly superior to both in terms of size and product offerings, but also in terms of quality of service delivery. Also, the market is well maintained and clean. The produce is overpriced, so you can find better deals elsewhere for that, but for almost everything else, they have good prices.

I was there yesterday in produce and they were so VERY helpful answering questions about apples and endamame. I’ve never been disappointed in their customer service but yesterday was exceptional. Nice job team.

The store as a whole is alright… my issure is with the deli department we went there to get some of their fried chicken and potato salad. The chicken was dry as hell and had a metallic after taste the next day I had a severe stomach ache I dont know if it was from from having the chicken tenders of the potato salad but I wont be buying anymore of their fried chicken from that deli section… obviously they are not concerned about the freshness and or quality of their products… we will still continue to shop there just not at the deli department… the one star is NOT for the entire store just the crappy deli department !

So. The people here aren’t very friendly, but the orange chicken is amazing! Much better than most Asian joints! It has just enough sauce and seems like a good amount of white meat and mixed with dark meat. It’s a nice amount you get for around $ 3. Yum! It’s near school and a quick protein lunch fix when you’re on the run! Warning: it’s pretty spicey though!

The service at the meat department is always great! The store is always clean, what more do you expect from a grocery store. I wish they had more of a selection in their produce aisle, though. We come here almost every Sunday for groceries. Cashiers are always nice too.

Can’t hate on Stater Bros.: they’ve got good prices on produce and meat, I like the butchers, and unlike the Stater Bros. in HB, they still use plastic and paper bags! Ha! But yes, it’s good to bring your own reusable bag… sometimes(all the time) I just forget. They have a good sized baked goods, deli and bread department, plus they also have a little soup and salad bar during the day. I came here early to beat the Thanksgiving crowd so checking out was fast and easy. I usually come here after work when it’s considerable more crowded, but it’s never been an issue for me.

Have good food here the meat and butcher dept. are great. The cashiers and the baggers are super grumpy said«thank you» and was totally ignored. The only subject the workers here do like to talk about is how happy they’re goin to be when they go home. Obviously everyone that works here hate their job. So, just grab your stuff and go.

We don’t have Stater Bros Markets where I live so I was quite curious to see inside. It was a full service grocery store that was clean, well organized, well stocked, and with friendly salespeople. Their prices did not seem unreasonable. The reasons I gave them 5 stars were 1) I didn’t have to join a club or sign up for a card to get the sales prices! This is a biggie, since I’m not from around here and would probably just lose the card, anyway. However, I will be more likely to visit a Stater Bros when I do visit since I know I’ll get the sales prices. 2) They have a particularly good selection of alcoholic products. I found a unique liquor here called Kraken that I’d only ever been able to find at a BevMo, and it was on sale. Score!

Slater brothers is the greatest store ever because they carry pop corners– kettle corn. Except Vons– they carry biscoff cookies. To recap: 1. Slater brothers one 2. vons number two

5 stars for a low brow grocery store? Tonight, I say YES! It was a good shopping night at this Stater Bros. It”s so different from the one near me in Tustin. That store is often dirty, parking is crazy, and cashiers/bag boys won’t ask if you need help, even if you’re on crutches. I was here for a cheap dinner. because they have a hot deli, and I was so hungry I could eat anything edible. So I got my 99 cent chicken leg and thigh, wedge potatoes, and cole slaw. On the way out, on a whim I stopped by the sodas and found 12 packs of Pepsi at 4 for $ 10 with coupon which I had), and found Pillsbury Cake Mix was 99 cents instead of $ 2.20, and cream cheese frosting was 60 cents off. It was off to the lines which can be long, but not tonight surprisingly. One reason this store is cleaner that other Stater Brothers is that several times I’ve been here, I’ve stumbled upon a sweeper. That person has a broom as wide as the aisles, and frequently sweeps from produce, up and down the aisles, to the other side of the store in the deli. Also, the people in this store are not so ghetto. It’s near Orange Coast College and there are mainly middle and upper middle income people. Most are wearing clean non sagging clothes with no dirty underwear showing with combed hair, and no bling bling in sight. The manager with the green jacket rang me up with a smile and actually said«Hello!» I was out of there in a few minutes. As I headed to my car, the container of cole slaw slipped out of the bag and fell down the opening on the cart where little kids sit. Ugh, Cole slaw was all over the parking lot near my car and on some fell on on the cart. I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Well the cart guy saw what happened and before I could escape. he said, «Let me get you another container of this, just wait a minute please.» Puzzled and embarrassed, I said, «Uh, OK». Right after I loaded my car with my stuff, here comes cart guy hurrying to my car with a brand new container of cole slaw. In one 15 minute experience, I bought my dinner for a mere $ 3.00, saved about $ 15 on stuff I needed, and restored my faith in youth and humanity. Can’t get better than that at a grocery store.
