Business Owner

Dr. Albert E. Sukut has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. In addition to earning his doctorate of dental surgery from Creighton University, Dr. Sukut has completed special graduate programs in orthodontia and a two year program in surgical and restorative implants at Scripps Institute in La Jolla, California. His wealth of knowledge and experience allows him to perform many surgical procedures, such as implant placement and wisdom tooth extraction, in the familiar and comfortable setting of our office.

Dr. Sukut is sincerely committed to treating patients as he himself would like to be treated and is thrilled to be a part of the life-changing benefits of comprehensive dentistry. His energetic personality and exceptional clinical skills make it truly fun to visit the dentist!

I’ve been going to Sukut Dental for about 10 years. Finally got my husband to go to them as well! I’m a real BABY when it comes to dental pain — any kind — period– the end! My experience at this office has ALWAYS been «as pleasant as one could expect — considering it’s the DENTIST!!! for cripes sake! :) The staff knows you by name. Both of the Doctors are TOP NOTCH — much more ‘ahead of the curve’ with current dental practices and with STATE OF THE ART work as well. The finance team does everything they can to ‘make the budget work’ … Want implants for $ 99 and a ‘whole new mouth’ for a grand? DON’T COME HERE — go to that ‘place you heard about’ — and THEN come to Sukut so they can do it RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!
Since your mouth is the gateway to the entire health of your body, why would you go to someone ‘just because of price?’ … an OH: I was reading some of the other reviews — I can tell you — those people DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH … but there should be a limit! …AND — if you rely on Unilocal,you also know ‘how RARE IT IS’ to have the business ‘respond’ to the comments! Read on in the reviews! Some people would bitch if they were hung with a ‘new rope’. Me: great mouth, great body (well, not really) and REALLY HAPPY with my Sukut Dental Team! love and hugs, cookie

I have been going to Sukut Dental for ten years and have been pleased with the service Dr. Karly and Dr. Sukut provide. The entire staff is always friendly and welcoming. I’ve gone in for routine check ups as well as had major services. Some highlights include:
–Four broken teeth from a soccer game on a Saturday. Called Dr. Sukut’s emergency line, described my symptoms to him and saved me money by having me come in on Monday instead of emergency service that day. Fit me in that Monday and had my teeth fixed with new on lays all in one day! Didn’t need crowns or have to come back.
–Damaged front teeth from a rugby game. Got a hold of Dr. Karly on a Saturday again, and she offered me the ability to come in for emergency care or wait until Monday to come in, which I did. Was and is very attentive with my teeth especially with a wedding coming up. Despite requiring root canals the teeth we hope will be just as white as the rest
–Early stage gum disease. When I first came to Dr. Sukut’s office in 2002, my hygienists and both dentists were very aggressive and helped me stave off periodontal disease. The staff continues to be very active with each check up.
–Despite some issues with the insurance, they have been very great in reducing my out of pocket costs the couple times my insurance refused to pay. (Stupid insurance)
Dr. Sukut’s office always seems to have the most advanced technology and all of the staff strives to run a great office. Highly recommended!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE!!!
My 17 year old daughter had a dental implant done 14 months ago. The business manager verified insurance and charged me my portion up front in cash. Now 14 months later when we tried to get the crown done Jessica (business manager) informs me they have not been paid by insurance and i owe 3000 plus 2600 dollars cash up front if i want my daughters work completed. She informs of this VIA EMAIL at 10 pm the night before her appointment.
I spent two hours on the phone with my insurance company who informs me that all communication is recorded in the computer on an account and at NO TIME had Sukut dental ever contacted them NOR had they billed them for any work other than an xray and an initial exam.
They also did not follow «timely filing» limits of 180 days for billing so it is not even able to be submitted.
To top it off they wont let us or our new dentist know what the brand of implant they used. How CHILDISH not to mention UNETHICAL is that. What happened to first do no harm?
I have cancer am a single mother and get weekly chemotherapy and the office is threatening to take me to collections for something they screwed up. In ADDITION they are Impeding an 18 year old girl from getting the work she needs done by withholding information.
Unethical on every level.

Dr Karly is great. She handles my children well and eases their minds about cleanings and fillings. My kids have never been afraid to come to the dentist because of her great work. It’s so nice to have a friendly professional with a smile that you can trust.
