Framing services second to none!!! My boyfriend and I like to collect sports memorabilia and we are very particular about how we want the framed item laid out. Lonnie listens to everything we tell him and does it how we ask him to do it. His prices are reasonable and he’s very meticulous with the way they look. He’s truly an artist at what he does. We’ve had over 10 items framed by him and all of our friends rave about how great they look! I’ve also had him frame photos of me and my boyfriend. When we get married I plan on having Lonnie create a shadow box of our wedding items.
We’ve referred several of our friends to Lonnie and they have been extremely happy with his framing services too! If you’re looking for affordable framing services from someone that does a fantastic job then Lonnie is your man!!! Thanks Lonnie!!!

I had to get a mat board cut and framed for a university project at IDI. I found Lonnie (and his establishment), to be knowledgeable, experienced, meticulous in detail, and prompt. Above all, He is a great guy with excellent customer service. I did find lower prices elsewhere, but I’m very happy I came to Lonnie. Ultimately, you pay for experience, reliability and quality. I’d come back to Creative Play for sure.

I don’t usually write reviews online but the work that was done for me at The Creative Play Framing was so exceptional that I felt I owed it to these guys. I had an LA Kings signed Justin Williams jersey framed. I had a vision to add both of the Kings Stanley Cup banners in it and my idea was greeted with open arms. The final product was so above and beyond what I thought it would be. I was blown away. And yes, the price is much cheaper than any of the big name framing stores and the quality is twice as good. I will be returning with my next jersey without a doubt. Thanks guys for such great work.

The creative play does a great job framing my art! Lonnie always gives lots of great recommendations for preserving my prints. I like that he is very knowledgeable about the preservation of different materials. Framing in general is quite expensive but so far they have always given me extremely fair prices and great quality products. Framing is definitely not cheap, but I am beyond happy with the quality of their work and their fair pricing. As an artist, I appreciate their help to bring a finished touch to my work. I am happy to say I will be a customer for life!

I took my Kobe Bryant autograph jersey to get frames. I did get a couole prices that were a bit lower but no one was able to show me some of their work. Lonnie has alot of experience in framing and will make you feel comfortable when choosing best options for your jersey. I will definitely be coming back and recommend The Creative Play.

Simply awesome custom framing/​sports collectibles store that’s been there forever. Quality, uniqueness, attention to detail, «creative”(hey, there’s a pun), friendly and reasonable pricing for the high end service. I just had some simple display pieces to do but ranging from the simple to the incredibly intricate or gigantic display items, Lonnie and «The Creative Play» staff are highly recommended for whatever display ideas you may have… which incidentally Lonnie will no doubt have a few fresh ideas of his own to offer, blowing you away with the end result. Had my Autographed Jerry Rice jersey framed here. Came out better than expected thanks to Lonnie! Would recommend to any sports memorabilia enthusiasts looking to have their items framed. Look forward to my next project.

I do a ton of framing. Everything from work items I like to frame for my office, sports stuff and even some pet memorial items.
This is my third framer and the best one I have used. Lonnie takes pride in his work and his experience as a former store front designer shows as he uses his creative flair on every project.
Many times I just bring in a box if stuff and he creates it. I always love what I get back.
Don’t let the sports memorabilia front fool you, if you have non-​sports framing then this is the spot. Bring in anything and Lonnie will work his magic.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and the ambiance is great and you are always welcomed by their adorable dog mascot.
The only reason I didn’t give a very satisfactory 5 stars (let’s call it 4 and ¾ stars) is because the five or so times I have brought items in, it takes no less than two weeks to complete. On a couple occasions I was told explicitly that I’d be behind some higher profile jobs he was working on. Last time he told me he wouldn’t even start for a week. Not a huge deal just that other places I have used take much less time.
Overall, it’s absolutely worth the wait for such quality. Just give yourself a month of lead time if you are doing something for a gift. Way worth the wait and it’s simply nothing short of art once you get it back.

I can’t say enough good things about The Creative Play. I brought Lonnie a couple of things that I had previously framed at Michaels… don’t ever go there for memorabilia framing unless you want to be disappointed. I showed Lonnie my stuff and he came up with some ideas to make it look better. I also brought in a bunch of Yankees memorabilia as well as a couple of Brett Favre jerseys. When I went to pick up my stuff I was in awe of the amazing transformation that Lonnie did; he turned my embarrassing already framed items into works of art. Lonnie really has a gift and does incredible work. I beyond love all the things he framed for me and I will be back in the future. If you have anything you want framed to look awesome you must go to The Creative Play. Thank you so much for taking such time and putting your creativity into making my sports stuff look like unique masterpieces!

The Creative Play is the best sports card and framing store around. I’ve been coming to The Creative Play for 7 years now and have always been very happy with everything they’ve done for me. From soccer and baseball collages, to posters, and old newspaper ads Lonnie always does a tremendous job. It’s a family friendly place with a wheel to spin to win prizes if you spend money on cards.
My only knock is that the prices for framing aren’t cheap but given the work and craftsmanship that you get it’s totally worth it.
