This is best place to shop for unique pieces for your home. They have pieces for every taste from modern to rustic and everything in between. I especially love going here during Christmas time because products are constantly changing. During December, you walk in, it feels like Christmas and they have Christmas music playing too. The staff is very friendly and super helpful as well. I would recommend bringing a reusable bag here so you can place your products they you purchase in there. They have bags but they are not handle bags (for large products) and it would just be easier to bring your own if possible. I like going to this shopping area during the week because the weekend it gets very packed.

I am so livid right now !!! I bought an expensive ribbon yesterday to wrap around my planter box but went to Michael’s after and found something better. Today I came back wanting to return it and Liz provided me with the worst customer service! She said with an attitude that it was not refundable because it’s a «seasonal item.» Told me to come with her to the section where the ribbon was and told me with a bitchy attitude like I was stupid or slow that all the ribbons in that area were seasonal. Pointing at it in a way almost as if she’s talking to a child. First off. ALL OF THEIR SEASONAL CHRISTMAS ITEMS ARE 75% off! This item was sold at full price! No where did it say that the ribbon I bought was in the seasonal section. Secondly, there were ribbons in that section that did not look seasonal at all. Some were regular looking ribbons. If there was a sign that said that the ribbons in that section were seasonal… I wouldn’t have taken the risk to purchase such an expensive ribbon. $ 25.91 to be exact. Third, when I bought it yesterday the girl who rang me up should’ve told me that it was a seasonal item or told me that it was nonrefundable. But she said nothing! AND ON TOP OF THAT, the ribbon I got was not in good condition. I asked yesterday if they had a new one that was unopened or in decent condition (at least) but all 5 or 6 ribbons they had were opened and in used-​looking condition. All of the ribbons of that kind were open and looked used while the other ribbons of different style were still sealed and new looking. I’m wondering if someone used the ribbons for their Christmas tree or something and decided to return them all back. Because all of that exact ribbon were opened and looked used. I am so pissed off that I had to pay nearly $ 26 (full price) for a ribbon that was in bad condition, opened, and «seasonal.» Actually, I don’t think it’s even about the ribbon. I think I’m pissed because of the terrible customer service I received from Liz today. And the lack of signs to distinguish a seasonal item from a regular item.
Then Liz had the audacity to tell me to come back tomorrow. I asked what they could do if I come back tomorrow and she said in the bitchiest way possible… «Probably nothing.» Excuse me?!? Then why should I waste my time and come back tomorrow?!? Liz could have been more professional and nicer about the situation. Instead of talking to me like I was slow.
***All of their good reviews are from before they downsized. The store is now half the size with expensive items that you can find for half the price at Home Goods. This place is great around Christmas time but you can still find the same items for a better deal at Home Goods.
UPDATE: I spoke to the manager, Fonda, and she said there should be no reason why I was unable to return the item if I paid full price. She spoke to me in a professional way and was able to resolve my problem. Happy with the service Fonda provided.

Sold us defective Christmas product and would not refund our money. Beware no returns for any holiday items defective or not. Money first customers last.

Simply amazed at the level of customer service at this store. I was in ONE time but Brook remembered my name with NO help whatsoever on my next visit. Fast forward 3 weeks, I call to reserve some dishes that are on order and Ruben remembered me specifically and told me what I was looking for. I am amazed. They pride themselves on customer service and success with flying colors. I LOVE this place.

Amazing place and customer service! We looked from store to store for artificial plants and trees and had little luck. We scored when we walked in!!! Bought (3) 9 – 11 foot trees and had the sales lady put together 3 arrangements that were so nice. She tried to save us money by showing us how to do it ourselves… Who does that? Instant Jungle is good for different varieties of tall trees. Between these 2 places, we outfitted 3 rooms!!!

Love this store! Such unique treasures. So happy they are now open on Sunday!

Checked this place earlier to see some possible décor for the home. Some eclectic pieces (like Pier One). Pretty spacious and some one of a kind pieces.

Cool decorating home store. It was not my style… too bulky and marked up in price. Stuff was everywhere. Not my kind of a decorating store.

I really enjoy shopping at tpt. If a person goes in to the store to browse, my guess is that they will probably end up ‘needing’ things they never knew they needed.
One has to be patient when shopping here as the layout of the store is a bit wonky. I’ve never knocked anything over while trapsing through the crowded showroom, but I can see how easily that could happen.
Customer service is just so-​so, in my opinion. No one has ever been rude, but the women tend to be a tad on the snooty side. That wouldn’t keep me from coming here to shop, just something to take note of.
Some of the items on the sales floor are insanely gorgeous, while other items look like something you’d pick up at TJ Maxx. But… it’s all about presentation.
For the record, I think the concept of mixing old with new/​inexpensive with pricey is fantastic. I apply it to the clothing I wear, the flowers I put in my garden, my house deco… if there’s a good Feng Shui vibe, roll with it.

My first visit to tpt home today was to find Christmas wreaths and decorations for my home. Other than being incredibly overpriced — Home Goods has the SAME things for about half the price. I will say, beware of the sales representatives here being misleading! I was looking at ribbons for the wreaths I had selected and a sales rep walked and offered for their designer to make a custom bow for $ 5 each. She then directed my friend and I to select 3 separate ribbons for the bows. After they were completed, they looked nothing like what I had been shown around the store, and what was originally $ 5 each now totaled $ 72! When I inquired about the cost, the sales person had the AUDACITY to blame the problem on me. It was very unprofessional and immature how she handled the situation. I was nothing but polite… and she provided awful customer service. I will not be returning this store.

This is such a great store but how disappointing that they are closed on Sundays. What type of department store like this closes on a Sunday. We saw the other couples, that is right people that all wanted to shop. I don’t get it!

This is one of my very favorite stores to just go check out every month! It is a treasure of new ideas and fun accessories for the home, garden and kitchen, along with Holiday themed party items etc.
Plus the service is good, unlike so make chain stores where you can barely find anyone to help!

I liked the place, just couldn’t really get anything, because I haven’t really moved out on my own, but I do like the store.
I passed by a store associate at least 3 times not one greeting or acknowledgment that I was their a tad rude if I don’t say so myself.
The place is eclectic and big, but the place has a variety of items and some good home good stuff along with seasonal purchases and sale items.
If I ever want to go shopping for some homegood/​kitchen décor I might visit again.

I love this store, they have so many good decorating ideas. I went in to find some Easter decorations and came out with Easter AND Valentines items. Their prices are pretty good on small decorations but can get pricey on large items. They also have the clearance rack in back where you can get items from past holidays at a discount. They had some Christmas decorations at 75% off. They have lots of regular kitchen items as well but I’ve never purchased anything like that. Cons — some aisles are small and crowded and if someone is stopped looking at an item it is hard to get around them. Pros — great items, good prices, easy parking, and in a great shopping center that has a Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.

I’ve seen this place from the 405 freeway many times… I never knew that TPT Home was the fancy «OC» name for Tai Pan Trading Company.
I had been to Tai Pan Trading in Rancho Cucamonga one time a saw a cool Christmas tree that I decided we needed to have this year!
I looked online and was surprised to see that their only other CA location was in Costa Mesa at SOCO.
So we drove over on Saturday. This place is exactly like the location in Rancho Cucamonga… H U G E !!
They have pretty much anything you can think of décor-​wise.
Lots of Halloween décor in the fall and now lots of Christmas décor.
I’m sure many people would compare it to Hobby Lobby but this place is much better.
They have a lot of the «Made in China» crap that Hobby Lobby has but also stuff that is higher quality. They have a nice mix. All this without the religious overtones of Hobby Lobby (at least that I could see).
Some stuff is well priced and other items seem to be at full retail price.
The reason for my 5 star review is because of the great customer service we received when looking at the different Christmas trees they sell.
I ended up talking with Marin who was super helpful. I didn’t realize she was a manager until we were done and I asked her name.
She even helped me in locating a coupon which saved me $ 60 on my purchase.
She definitely went above and beyond and we appreciated it!!!

This place is definitely worth checking out if you need some new Christmas decorations and/​or anything for your house. They have it all!
The place is huge… if you separate from your party it may take 30 minutes before you can locate them again! It happened to me both times I have been here!

It’s in SoCo Center in Costa Mesa — Shopping plaza that has bunch of furniture shops and more (café, bars, shops, restaurants etc.). Right before the entrance to 405 N off Harbor Blvd, turn right. You’ll see a big shopping center. Once you get into the parking, keep going straight. You’ll see it on your left side, right by «Lazy Boy’s». It’s huge — I said HUGE. It’s like a warehouse. Parking is easy and plenty.
Gardening products — inside and outside, and more! Very wide varieties of products.
Fake flowers: They do have tons of varieties and inexpensive.
Pots: Various.
Vases: Various sizes and materials. Not so good quality. Cheap.
Incents: They do have some.
Candles: Candles, candle holders etc.
Accessories: Jewelries, bags etc.
Baskets: Various sizes and design
Arts: Paintings
Accent pieces: Various frames, ornaments, ribbons etc.
Furniture: Not a lot but they do have some.

I expected to be a bit more fancy/​hippie place like other places in this shopping mall. The quality of products and prices are a lot lower than others. It’s a bigger and a little better than «Michael’s» (art and craft store chains). The varieties of products they carry are wide. They do try to categorize and organize the products, and the place is so huge. You’ll get tired to see them all.
Do I wanna come here a lot?! No.
Unique in their own way? Maybe not.
But this might be a great stop if you looked for something more than the garden /​flower related products at «Michael’s».

Stopped in here after work Friday night, and had two coupons (That I was able to use together, which most places is unheard of).
One was for a free polka dot small baking dish and one was for either a serving tray or holiday candle holders.
They were out of the candle holders, which was fine, I wanted the serving tray anyway :)
I did some shopping and finally found some candle holders I really wanted… $ 14.99 and $ 10.99 so I was past the $ 20 I had to spend to use one of the coupons. Until I checked out and the candle holders were on sale… 50% off. Back to shopping I go, which usually isnt a problem, but there just wasnt anything I NEEDED. I found a few ornaments to give as gifts and got a couple more of the matching polka dot baking dishes.
The free serving platter is really nice, great quality and a wonderful item.
I was a little disappointed with all of the Christmas decorations and no Hannukah items (That I saw, and I walked the store 3 or 4 times).

Attention Men: Do not tell your your significant others about this place. You are guaranteed to be here for an hour and lots of money will be spent. My wife was like a moth to a light and couldn’t pull herself away from the store. More and more things went into the cart. My feet were killing me by the time we left the store from all the walking around. Most of the men in the store looked as glassy eyed as I did. Luckily the prices here are really great so you get a lot for your money.
Place reminds me a lot of the now closed down «Stats» in Seal Beach. Tons and tons and tons of holiday decorations, house decorations, fake flowers, pictures, candles, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. We’re now set for Halloween and Thanksgiving thanks to tpt home. Nice thing is it’s in the same parking lot as Portolla Coffee Lab so I snagged a iced mocha after we were done here. Guess I’d accompany my wife here again as long as I get to visit Portolla after.

When I walked into this place at SoCo, the first thing I thought was I would hate to do inventory at this place. It is a huge space that used to be a furniture store that is now loaded with home goods, furnishings, paper goods, accessories and seasonal decorations. The second thing I thought was I gotta start sending pictures of this place to my friends. I was taking pictures and texting and emailing from my phone throughout the store.
So much to see like candles, mirrors, furniture, outdoor décor, silk flowers, kitchenware, cookware, glassware, purses, paper goods, gourmet food items, and lots of holiday goodies to name a few. We were there before Halloween and there were all kinds of Halloween decorations out and they also had a ton of decorated Christmas trees displaying lots and lots of ornaments. They had some cool free standing sink basins and some unique hutches for sale. There were many great deals in the store. I was very pleased with the 18×18″ cherry wood mirror we got for $ 9.91! You can sign up on their website to join their email list to be alerted of sales and special events at the store.
I will be back soon to peruse their beautiful Christmas displays for some new holiday decorations. A lot to see in this store and a cool one-​stop shopping place for your home furnishing and décor needs.
