I hope you take the time to read a «hopefully perceived» insightful review. I own a wedding hair & make-​up company. Lucy was one of OUR brides. Compared to others clients I liked her ‘no-​nonsense” approach to business. It came time to her trial session with us and her artist was suddenly ill. Lucy decided to cancel and I within seconds refunded her money. I left her with a thought, one of I would hope that she could trust my honesty about the situation and was not making excuses (stylists are often known as «flakey») and you can’t blame her as she was planning her most important day of her life. I mentioned that my customer service was «second to none» and I hoped for a second chance to continue as proof of my sincerity and passion. To my delight, she called the next day and re-​booked! After her wedding I followed up to congratulate and she mentioned if I ever needed a website to remember her. I had no intentions at the time of a website re-​vamp. Months later, following up with another bride, she loved our services and chose because of my excellent customer service BUT mentioned my website should be higher quality to match our services. I thought long and hard about that comment.
I reached out to my tech guys locally, who are simply amazing and have worked with them for years. I sent several emails to start my project, no email return. I realized their specialty is not creating a new website and then remembered Lucy.
Lucy was delighted I called and wanted to «give me the same customer service that she received. I want you to know how that FEELS to your brides». That statement certainly got my attention. I assumed that would be a really tough assignment as quite frankly I have won numerous awards and because of my attention to detail have always placed a company at top rank due to my client relationships. Before my exit of corporate world, I was nominated «Best Customer First» Leader in the entire hair care industry. I worked years to get there and have really never met anyone who could meet my level of expertise. I don’t say that bragging I am talking about 30 years to perfect the skill for which I am so passionate. I worked hard to get there.
We initially had a conference to discuss my ideas. She worked diligently to make certain the project finished to my 100% satisfaction. I would like to share with the audience how important the following is to create your website:
1. Communicate. You will receive a timely response to every email; your peace of mind. Don’t sit back. Creation is personal taste and no one can guess at that.
As a «creator» or artist myself: we are only as good as the input from the client. Our business is successful when the client «helps» guide the ideas and offers some thoughts whether right or wrong. Speak up.
2. Realistic deadline. We took almost 6 months to create perfection (at my direction) & that is what I wanted. Nothing less than 500 images on the website. Most web designers would cringe at that thought, she was amazing!
3. Be kind in your direction. You inspire creativity when you do of your web designer.
4. Be grateful… and indeed I am. I give a standing ovation to Lucy and her husband… amazing in every way. I suppose it be fitting that I share my «crown» as she has certainly earned it. More importantly, I got to FEEL what I give to my brides and the quick responses and excellent follow-​through to each aspect of the website. I KNEW I WAS IN GOOD HANDS.
I wish I could give more stars… she was my «Rock» (her last name) during this project. It is now fully launched and a dream come true. I know who I am choosing for any changes with my company website in the future.

Being a business owner I run into several situations where I feel like I just gong have enough help or time to get everything I want done.
I recently implemented a CRM system that I just didn’t have time to implement — nor did I have enough help on hand to take on the task.
After speaking to Lucy from track star I brought her on to spear head the project. She implemented it, fine tuned it and tweaked it to fit my business perfectly.
