Been going here for a few years now. Good food with fresh ingredients and friendly service keep us coming back!

Ordered five pizzas for my wife’s birthday party over the weekend. The pizzas were really good. Great value. Plenty of fresh ingredients on the pizzas. Only complaint is that the process of ordering on the phone was a little bit of a challenge and took quite a bit longer than it should have, but I did get a call back just so that they could confirm that the order was right and was headed to the right place. Valentino’s is our go-to pizza delivery place in the future!

Tried to give this place another chance. Will not deliver to me because I left a bad Unilocal review. Classy, maybe you should just improve your service!

I attended Vanguard University for a while and this was a popular pizza spot. This pizza is very good, though I wouldn’t say it is anything super«special.» I have been to many pizza restaurants over the years. Here is what I’ve noticed about Valentino’s: 1. Small business over chain ANYDAY. It just tastes better in every way. 2. The employees don’t seem like they hate their lives. Making pizza seems to make them happy and that is awesome. 3. The price to size ratio is better than most places I’ve been too. Overall, I would definitely recommend to a friend and would love some right now, actually!

Great food, but they NEVER answer the phone. Impossible to order delivery from this place. I work in CM and it’s the only decent pizza place around. I just wish that they would answer.

I love this place for a good homemade pizza that delivers. Love the crust! Prices are amazing and you can add up to 5 toppings at no additional charge! The only reason for 4 stars is that they had a new girl taking phone orders and she doesn’t speak English very well so it took a long time to get my order right. Totally worth it though because my pizza was perfect as usual and I love how this is a family business… no random surfer guys showing up at my door, always a smiling and familiar face.

Pretty good pizza. The pizza really is ready in 15 mins. Pretty decent pizza but can be greasy.

No frills, but surprisingly good pizza! People here are very nice, family run place. We ordered the 2 slice special(2 slices + soda for $ 5) and we’re still hungry and liked it enough to go back for more.

Reasonable prices, Good pizza, Large portions, Cool owner. This place was awesome! From outside your expectations might not be very high but then go ahead and try the pizza… it’s bomb! And the prices are awesome. The personal pizza is enough for two people(or lunch and dinner in my case) and the taste is delicious — I got chicken, mushroom, and green pepper toppings on my personal pizza. The owner is also cool and welcoming, which is important.

I love their pizza!!! Not too greasy, totally hand-tossed(you can hear the employee tossing the dough very hard in the back if you happen to wait for your order lol), and tastes just right. The only down side is that their current prices are a bit more compared to the prices on their website(i.e. small calzone went up from $ 8.99 to $ 10.99). Some websites just happen to be outdated; if that’s the case, you can call them ahead to find out about their current prices. It would be helpful if they do update their menu on the website though. P. s. I only had pizza at this venue so I can’t speak for other items on the menu… well, it is now my favorite pizza place in Costa Mesa :)

I like this place, similar pizza to Laventinas, but much closer to my house! Nothing spectacular, but delicious, with prompt delivery and friendly staff! Medium crust thickness and very satisfying cheese-to-topping ratio.

Pizza is good. And its big with ingredients. I ordered a small and it was enough for 2 people. No wimpy toppings on their pizza. Also got the ribs. They were a little tuff. But the bbq sauce was good. They need to figure out how to make them more tender and they would have a big hit on the ribs. And the young delivery man Vince is super nice and friendly !!

Valentino’s Pizza location is one of my favorite pizza restaurants in Costa Mesa. It’s conveniently in a shopping plaza on Fairview and Wilson, so you can’t miss it. I have ordered from here many times both dining in and for delivery. The portions are generous and made with fresh ingredients. You can really taste the difference when compared to other pizza restaurants. Some of my reasons on why I choose this location rather than others is because of the quick friendly service, generous portions, and price. If you decide to for carry out, it takes about 15 minutes. Other places I am waiting for 20 — 25 minutes, which is absolutely ridiculous. There are also no gimmicks at Valentino’s Pizza, just friendly service and quality food. My favorite pizza here is the BBQ Chicken. The pizza is packed with so much flavor and is just an amazing pizza. I also recommend the calzones. Go with the steak and you won’t be disappointed. I heard good things about the desserts, but I’m generally stuffed because it’s so much food. I highly recommend Valentino’s Pizza. The food is delicious and they provide quality service. Keep in mind they also offer pizza delivery because other locations do not. There’s is no other pizza restaurant in Costa Mesa that compares!

Best pizza ever, fast and decent pricing :) Pizza is never undercooked, crispy where it needs to be, super delicious for sure :)) 2 thumps up! Oh and the employees and owners are all nice too. Never rude and offer more than what you want but who doesn’t right? :)

This is my first time trying out this place based on all the good reviews I read. So I ordered 2 small calzones, one steak and one meatballs. I called in around 3:15pm on a Thursday and picked them up around 3:45pm. When I got there the guy Leng told me that they actually made my small calzones a little bit bigger, so I thought maybe he will charge me the price of a small, but when he show me the receipt, the price of the small doesn’t match the price on their website, it shows $ 8.99 on the website and it was $ 9.99 on the receipt. I didn’t say anything about it cuz I was hoping the food won’t be disappointing. So I got home and try my calzones, first of all, they were HUGE! about 10 inches wide. But after I cut one of them into a small portion so I could pick it up and eat it, I noticed the bottom of the calzones were just too greasy and soggy that I have no way to pick it up without everything inside came falling apart. I ended up having to eat it with a fork. I am wondering why they didn’t spend a little more time cooking the calzone since it wasn’t busy when I called. The only things I like about my calzones were the incredients, the rest of them were just too soggy and chewy. I should just stick with Rance’s Chicago Style pizza.
