Didn’t know cops would be driving by a small parking lot. I was hanging out with my friend at Vista until some guy rode by us on his fixie telling us that the cop was giving us tickets for parking after dusk. Honestly I never check the signs so it’s partly my fault. Why not just $ 50 but also 50 cents? Gimme a break CM cops. This is my second review and it’s not getting any more stars. Never again Vista.

This park is a great, wide open space. Perfect for playing frisbee or soccer or catch. Only problem is the residents walking their dogs at this park off leash. I was there working with my dog trainer doing long-distance recalls with my dog and at least 5 different off-leash dogs walked past us. One dog even came up and barked repeatedly at us and the owner had no control, she had to drag her dog away by the collar. After all these people left, some local cop came by and told my trainer he was going to get a ticket for training my dog off leash. Excuse me? He’s a certified trainer and we’re doing highly controlled lessons. Why not go give those residents tickets for their untrained, unruly dogs. Super uncool. Won’t be doing dog training there anymore, and unless you like off-leash dogs, don’t take your dog there either.

Nice small park which has a climbing structure with 3 slides, zip line, monkey bars, swings(2 infant and 2 regular) and a teeter totter. There are picnic benches and a large open field. Water fountain and bathrooms(although not large). The park is above the Santa Ana River trail and has a beautiful view of Huntington Beach. Small parking lot, if it’s busy then you can try to park on the street. There is also a paved path around the park that is good for a walk or kids to ride their bikes/scooters.

3.5 stars This Park is so small that I drove by it the first time and had to turn around. There are approximately only 13 parking spaces. Park closes at Dusk. Parking lot needs a re-paving. Park is adjacent to the Santa Ana River Trail. Bathrooms are marginal – don’t touch too many things in there. Nice grass area. Mommies always playing with their children on the swing. It’s a small community park – not a place to go unless you are local really. Apartments border the park on 2 sides. Workers stop here to have lunch or take a break.

Nice and clean park with trees and shade. Great view, next to the river channel. Has a few picnic tables. This park has bathrooms but they could use a good scrubbin.

Victoria Vista Park is small but a good biking destination. There is a sidewalk that runs around the entire park, which sits on the hill next to the riverbed. This is the perfect park for a late afternoon /early evening ride. You can watch the sunset over the hill… and despite the noisy street below, the view of the riverbed from this area is very pretty. Go to the far left corner of the park and there are concrete slabs next to a few steps. I like to ride my bike here and sit and sketch or meditate in this area… its secluded and the view is beautiful.
