Established in 1966.

Whittier Law School was originally founded as the Beverly College of Law in 1966, and located in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. In 1974, the law school merged with Whittier College, although the two institutions have never shared a campus. In 1996, the law school moved to a 14-acre campus in Orange County, California.
