Cotati Dog Grooming & Boarding

I’ve taken my dog here a few times for nail trims. She’s extremely wiggly and difficult to work with but they are always able to do her nails which is why I keep coming back. They are very nice and do it super fast too. I know that her quicks were grown out a bit, but my only complaint is that the last few times I feel like they barely cut the nails down. she has some clear nails and you can clearly see where quite a bit more could have been cut off. I’ll probably be going somewhere else just because I don’t feel that it’s worth it. Quick but not thorough at all. :(Also they don’t accept credit or debit cards which I found strange.

I am so happy with the work that the groomers do at Cotati Dog Groomers! I have a Cocker Spaniel, and they do a beautiful job. I used to take her to a place in Santa Rosa, but my dog did not like it there at all, feet dragging, clinging to me, etc. At this place, she prances in with tail wagging and heads to the back! She loves the young ladies there, they are friendly and gentle. I recommend them to pet parents because I feel good about her being left there for a few hours while she is well taken care of.

I brought my Boxer Zuma here because of how good they were with my late Boxers Bella and Max. They did a great job of making her feel comfortable and the grooming was excellent! I will be bringing Zuma back!

After reading other reviews here on Unilocal and having my two *large* dogs go for day care at Two Rock Dog Ranch every now and then, just before Thanksgiving I decided to them in for baths and grooming. My call for an appt was promptly returned the following morning and we set up a time when I could bring them in «first thing» and have them back by 11am. Can’t say enough about how good of a job the Cotati team did on my Anatolian/​Pyrenees mix (110 lbs) and the Lab/​Rottweiler (80lb). Both have their own idiosyncrasies — Rott hates having his claws snipped, Pyr just needs reassurance when he is being groomed (kind of a big baby) etc. Both dogs were apprehensive when I tried to get them to enter, but clearly they were handled well, treated well as they both came out in very good spirits and absolutely gorgeous. Everyone who walks or deals with the Pyr mix said he has never looked so good, and both their coats have never been softer. And it has lasted. I am very happy with the experience overall and feel the dogs were too. Pricing was appropriate. We’ll be back! Thank you, Hannah and team, for treating the boys so well and doing such a great job…;-)

I brought my shihtzu here for the first time and told them
exactly what I wanted this was the worst hack job I’ve ever seen. So choppy and uneven and took 4.5 hours for a 3lb puppy. Seriously now I have to wait for it to grow it out and find a professional.

I called to make an appointment in the morning for my Bichon, they had me drop her off at 12 and she was done by 3. Great job on the grooming and I was impressed by how clean the facility was. The groomer was very friendly and seem to enjoy her job. I will be back.

We have been taking our dogs here for several years now and are really happy with the staff and outstanding customer service. The staff are super friendly and great with handling dogs of all sizes. One of our dogs is quite the scaredy cat and the ladies there are so patient and gentle with her. There have been zero issues with scheduling groomings or getting call backs for pick up times. I wouldn’t trust our four legged kids anywhere else.

We just picked our girls up after being groomed today. They looked lovely and seemed very happy. The customer service was great, even from the first phone call. We have had a really awful experience at another facility… Easy to find in my other reviews… Lexi and Hanna were attentive and friendly and understood that one of my dogs was a bit nervous and the other being a puppy, it was her first time being groomed. I will be recommending cotati pet groomers to all my clients. Thanks ladies we will be back often! Oh and the price was super reasonable… Both dogs groomed for less than what I paid for one at another facility… Which led to a vet visit and more $$$… Thanks ladies :)

I have taken my dog, Maverick here a few times to get a puppy cut– I am not a fan of poodle cuts, and he looks adorable with his curly hair all one length. Consistently, the groomers at Cotati Dog Grooming give him a poodle cut, after I have asked for a puppy cut. This is the only complaint I have about this place– their facility is nice and clean, and the staff seems to truly enjoy working with the animals. I continue to take Maverick there because he always leaves clean, cut, and happy. The prices are comparable, but definitely worth every penny, and the grooming doesn’t take all day, which is nice when you don’t live around the corner.

We have been taking our Tilly here for 8 years or so. This is the only place she has gone — no need to try anywhere else. They treat her so well, they seem to really love and care about each dog. She’s happy to go to see them, which means they must be nice. They will cut her just as I ask, and she is always so shiny and fluffy afterwards! I can’t ‘compare’ prices, but have never thought I wasn’t getting my money’s worth! They do give a window of time to drop her off, which works well for me. I would never take her anywhere else!

This is the only place I bring my dog to be groomed. My dog is super anxious and the girls who work here are always so gentle and sweet with him. I really like that they give you windows of time to drop off your dog, not set appointment times so you can drop off your dog when it is convenient for you.

I’m new to the area and my dog was in desperate need of a haircut. The groomer at Cotati Dog Grooming did a fantastic job. It was probably one of the best hair cuts my dog has ever gotten. He looks great! The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars was the price. My dog is only 11lbs and the cut cost $ 48. He does have quite a bit of hair though. Despite the price, I WILL continue to take my dog there as long as I’m living in the area!

After having several bad grooming salon experiences in my new town I now drive 2 hours each way to bring them to this salon in the town I lived next to for 24 years!
IF THAT DOESN’T SAY IT ALL I DON’T KNOW WHAT DOES!
SUPER FRIENDLY, LOVES MY PETS, THEY ALWAYS LOOK GREAT AND THEY LOVE COMING TO VISIT LEXI AND HANNA.

Cotati Dog Grooming & Boarding is wonderful! Have been taking my Golden there for a couple years now and will go no where else from now on!
They listen to what you would like to have done and they actually do that! Or make a suggestion that might work better.
Their staff is friendly, efficient and professional.
Their prices seem fair — in regards to the work they are doing. I’ve paid less but it showed… I’d rather pay more and actually like the way my dog looks afterwards…
Definitely a place to try!

Our sweet black lab Lilac absolutely loves going to Doggie Daycare. The people are so good with all of the dogs and Lilac loves being able to roam freely at «The Farm». She is so spoiled there, she refuses to walk properly now!!! It’s great to pick her up from a day at «The Farm» and to watch her sleep soundly the rest of the night. Thanks Cotati Dog Grooming & Boarding for being such a fun, safe place for our precious girl!

I have my dog groomed here. They do a nice job at a fair price. I wish they cleaned dog teeth, also. They listen to the way I want my dog trimmed, and it always comes out nice.
I once had to bring my dog back (they forgot to clip the back nails) and they were able to get him right in and take care of it right away.
They are located on the west side of Oliver’s in Cotati, between The Cougars Den and the Post Office.
