Description

Specialties

Unfold Your Creative Spirit Studio offers art journaling classes for women, tweens and teens. Art journaling is a process-oriented art practice that combines mixed media (painting, doodling, stamping, collage, stenciling, drawing) with journaling. You don’t have to be an «artist» to get tremendous satisfaction from art journaling. It’s a heart-opening activity, fun, free, and very habit-forming.

Drop-in classes for women are held Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30 — 9:30pm and Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Classes for tweens and teens are held during the day. Special weekend workshops are help frequently. Check the calendar on the studio website or call for more up to date information.

All materials are included in your class fee (except for a sketchbook, which you can bring or purchase in the studio). Materials are plentiful and inspiring. Iced and hot tea are also provided.

Your first class is FREE. Walk-in fee is $ 30. Discount class cards are available for $ 1506 classes.

Your teacher and studio owner: Susie Stonefield Miller is a local artist, writer, teacher, and inspired life guide. In her art journaling classes, she creates women’s and girls’ community while supporting tender hearts and open minds. Through demonstrations, guided journaling prompts and discussion, Susie leads new and experienced art journalers to inspiring and gratifying places in their art process.
