Very good food, service decent for most part when I have been but sometimes not the fastest and food slow to come out. I love the bar area which has plenty of pub table seating and seats at the bar.

$ 60 dollar order for my guys at the shop as a thank you for doing a great job this week ended up being the worst food they’ve ever delivered and we were regulars everyday ordering now we wouldn’t take it if it were free. Not to mention how sick we all got. As a business owner myself I called to express my issue I got hung up on then called back n waited for 10min before I hung up waiting for a so called manager.

Headed to the lounge for Sunday football after a horrible experience at fat bellys. We unfortunately were full but just looking at the food and the smiles on peoples faces this will be our go to spot. Candy the bartender was fantastic, it was busy, and she was upbeat, enthusiastic and provided a great experience. Definitely be going back and will choose to go there FIRST!

I have been here many times. The food has been consistently fantastic. From steak to pizza to salmon, all were great. One suggestion, if you order something with red sauce(chicken Palm, pasta) ask for extra sauce. Kristy and Brianna are awesome bartenders. They are very friendly and fun. I recommend this place to everyone.

We were on a hike in the western wilds of Coventry today and hankerin’ for a bite afterwards so to the phone and good olé Unilocal to the rescue. About fifteen minutes from our hike we discovered Westcott House and decided to give it a try. Now, as you may have garnered from my past reviews, I’m more of a bistro kind of guy so the sports bar is low on my list of choices, although decent food and a well rounded tap selection can bring me round. The Westcott House(sports lounge-we didn’t eat in the restaurant side) appears to be clean and tidy inside with newish fixtures and a roomy layout. It’s obvious they’re geared for sports with more than a half dozen big screens on the walls and that’s ok(in my best Stuart Smalley voice). Our server was polite, responsive, genuine, and did a great job checking in with us not just after the first round or the meal, but consistently seeing that everything was to our liking. We started with the buffalo wing nachos and adjusted one of the toppings to a side dish for our friend-not a problem. I liked the house signature grilled cheese w/prosciutto on lovely thick bread, cole slaw that was above average but fries that were a mixed bag of underdone and just ok-maybe an off day at the frialator? Anyways, if you wanna kick back and enjoy the multimedia experience of TV, free wifi, and(oh God, really?) human interaction, you may just find yourself going ‘all-in’ for a sit down at the Westcott House-Awww Yeah!

Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Nice variety on the menu. Very friendly and attentive service. Very accommodating of special food request. We were just passing by and would definitely stop in again when back in the area.

I went today for a late lunch/early dinner with my son. We sat in the lounge so we could watch the football game. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name, he was so attentive. I had a Mandarin Steak Salad, it was delicious!!! The steak was cooked perfectly!!! My son had pizza well done with extra cheese. It was delicious and also cooked perfectly!!! Most of the time if I ask for well done at restaurants it never is. This pizza was perfect. It was the perfect Sunday funday meal.

Great atmosphere. Food is very good. Chicken tips and potato skins are excellent! It’s a great place to go for locals or if you’re in the area. ½ price apps on Sundays during football also!

We went here after a hike and after Unilocaling a place to eat. The kids and I were hungry and there was no shortage of portions at all. It was a Friday afternoon so it was a slow time. I’m currently out of work due to a broken arm and the kids are out of school so before camp we decided to go on an adventure. We don’t live out this way but I am very glad we chose to stop. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter(whose name I forget now… Devin, Darren… crap it was a D name) was very prompt and very nice and our food was fresh and hot and not a long wait time at all. I highly recommend this place. I would stop again if we are ever in the area again. Oh and there is a magician on Monday nights the sign said. I’m certain my kids would enjoy that. Just a little something I remembered seeing on the way out.

Food was great. The one star is for service. It’s hard to belive that it would take 30 minutes to get two mini pizzas for my kids. Well it did and it took them three trys at it. The difference between pepper and pepperoni is a simple oni. They couldn’t even get that right. To end it off the kids were supposed to get ice cream Sundays. In return we were brought to cookies from the microwave that looked like they were bought next door at the gas station. This will be our first and last time to Westcott House in Coventry. I have no faith in servers or cooks who cannot decifer a simple«oni.»

Gave them another go, thinking that after a few months they may have gotten their act together. No such luck. Pizza was greasy and soggy, and the service was slow. I’m a big time pizza junkie and am always checking out various places, so I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about when it comes to pizza. And good pizza isn’t their thing.

I had a chicken parm calzone. The bread was cooked wonderfully. Nicely browned all over and not too bready. The innards were yummy. Plenty of chicken and a nice amount of sauce and cheese. My wife had the fish and chips. These were pretty darn good. The fish was a good portion without being too much. It was cooked wonderfully… not over done, not soggy. The fish also was very tasty for a white fish. It was good enough to mention… not sure I have experienced that before. It came with fries that were lightly seasoned with more than just salt. They were very tasty. The oddest thing about the visit was the crazy(read: terrible) 80’s satellite radio mix that was being played.

Getting better. Slowly but surely. As the prior two reviews noted, it has been a rough start, but the place is packed every time I have driven by or gone in. Nearly every table filled, and lots of people picking up orders. They can make a good business if they do a better job in a couple of areas: 1. Picking up orders is not well handled. Both times I have done that, the times went way over what was quoted and I had to wait in the very small, always crowded seating area with others for 15 minutes or more. All the while watching a bunch of unsupervised teenagers out front hang around and play grab ass while we wait. The last time, I finally said, «Where’s my pizza, Romeo?» to the kid at the desk after fifteen minutes, and hey… Guess what? It was ready. I wonder how long it was sitting there while I waited? Based on pickup, I don’t have much confidence that delivery would be satisfactory, but when I check I will let you know. 2. Seating. Always too full in there. They need to knock down that stupid wall in the middle and add more tables if the business is sustained. Never understood why that VIP area was there when Amdiamo’s was there and failed because the food sucked and was overpriced, hopefully they’ll figure it out. Now that those issues are out of the way, when I ate there inside two times I found the service was acceptable, but inexperienced and confused by how the ordering process worked, using the tablets at the tables seemed to slow things down and show how inexperienced they were. It made me think my order would be screwed up both times, but it wasn’t. The food is good and reasonably priced. If they can keep the quality and price at the same points they will have a winner here. Pizza was very good(try the thick crust), with nice crispy pepperoni. Kids enjoyed chicken fingers and salty fries. The goat cheese and apple salad was also quite good with a nice variety of items in it. If they work out some of the bugs, have better management of operations and keep quality high and prices low this place will make a fortune. There aren’t many good places for families to eat in this area, and there are a LOT of families here who eat out often. Best of luck.
