I have used this company three times in the past. The last job was for a leak in the kitchen ceiling. The plumber insisted his recommended company come out to remove mold in cabinet. This was very expensive for a small cabinet and 2 hours labor. The plumber later made the repair with PEX pipe connected to the existing copper. About 2 years later the PEX connection to copper he made is leaking. I am now using a different company for a whole house repipe, tired of constant copper pipe leaks.

I left a message Saturday morning (during business hours) to have someone come out to fix a leak. They never got back to me. They’re lucky to get a single star.

So I decided to help my mother out with finding a plumber to fix her main bathroom. I knew that the plumbing job that she needed done wasn’t a huge one, based on the consultation prior. We pretty much needed the chain on the flapper adjusted and a possible unclogging.
When I scheduled the appt, they gave me a timeframe of 12−3pm and arrived right at 12 which I actually did appreciate because I needed to go to work afterwards. I expected for them to call beforehand but I didn’t receive one. However, one of the servicemen did apologize for not calling ahead of time.
Once I showed them (2 servicemen arrived) the toilet, they knew right away what the issue was. The chain needed to be adjusted and they needed to plunge it a bit. Initially, I stayed in the restroom with them but then I stepped out to finish getting ready for work.
They finished the job pretty quickly and informed me on their way out of the restroom, instead of offering to show me the work before. They presented me with an invoice and charged me a little over a $ 100 for this small job which was confusing to me because I had received a quote from another plumber prior, of just $ 45. It was even referred to as an «easy job».
I asked for them to give me a breakdown of the services to explain the charges and their was hesitation in the explanation. Basically, all I was told is that the chain was adjusted and he toilet was plunged. Ridiculous! This definitely felt like one of those typical times when a female is taken advantage of when seeking out a «blue collar» service that may be foreign to them. What’s worse, is that there is still a slow flowing leak after you flush.
Glad it’s done for now but pretty disappointed in my experience… Sorry

Exchanging the water heater was way over what I expected… $ 1600 to have it replaced was a punch!
The service was done really fast and he delivered everything he promised and even helped exchange a shower head!

I am very impressed with the service Courtesy Plumbers provides. During this long weekend
(MLK weekend) our tankless water heater stopped working. It was great that they are open on Saturdays. We called them and they came promptly and fixed the problem. Thomas was very kind and truly professional. He not only fixed the heater but also guided us how to maintain the water heater as well. True representation of their company name!
My other plumbing service has not come even after 2 months of reaching out to them. I wish I would have called them when the problem started initially two months ago. Great job guys!

Easy hassle free service! Had a clogged shower drain. Called early in the morning and they came out the same day. Dustin and his partner showed up and snaked it quick. In and out that fast. Pleasant gentlemen to deal with. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the home I live in has constant plumbing issues and I have used this company at least 4 times in the past 2−½ years and they are awesome!!! I believe Dustin has been to my home 3 times, 2 of which over the last 2 days. Very friendly, very professional, very reasonably priced and affordable They are quick to respond and provide excellent service. Highly recommend!

Thom and his assistant did a very good job of isolating the leak, sealing the pipe, and explaining to my husband and me all that had taken place that caused the leak. The clean-​up was done well and Thom provided a referral who promptly contacted us and stopped by to provide an estimate. The only problem that I had with the entire process was that we were told that there would be no charge for the leak inspection because it was obvious that the leak was in the area where the tile was warmest. When Thom and his assistant arrived to do the job, they had an instrument that guided them more specifically to the leak’s destination. They promptly began the work after what appeared to be a few minutes. After opening up the floor to locate the leak they completed the job and refilled the hole with cement. The job was done quite well.
However, when I reviewed the bill I realized we were charged an additional $ 375 for a leak detection. We were told these charges would not be included upon the first visit/​inspection, and that the total estimate would be $ 1800. We were puzzled that the total cost was $ 2175 as the amount for the leak detection brought the charges to this amount. I would have felt much better about the entire cost had we been told that it was necessary to conduct a leak inspection that would cost $ 375, increasing the cost to $ 2175.

The plumber was nice, did the job properly so no complaint there. I have an issue with the bill, he basically switched out a valve in the temperature knob and fixed a shower diverter. It took 40 minutes and we were charged $ 350, not sure why at this point. I called to ask for an explanation, they never called back. It’s unfortunate as I’ve had good experiences with them previously.

Courtesy Plumbers did an excellent job completing a difficult install of a pressure regulator on the water supply line to our house. Although there were some communication issues with scheduling, Rick arrived promptly and provided a thorough quote. He was able to get to work right away, and expertly tackled unforeseen challenges during the installation. His work was very professional, and he explained what he was doing throughout the entire process. I’m very happy I called Courtesy to complete this plumbing work, and would use them again for tricky plumbing problems.

I had another plumbing company come out and tell me what I needed to do to get my main line fixed and it would cost $ 7,800.00. I told them it was a lot of money and I would have to call around first. So I looked on Unilocal!And found Courtesy Plumbing, they sent out a tech named Aaron. He showed up with a smile on his face and said I will stay here for as long as it takes and try to get your pipes unclogged. He was there only about 15 minutes and was able to unclog my drain. Not only was he able to do what the other company couldn’t, but it was only a $ 130.00. If I have another plumbing issue in the future I will definitely call Courtesy Plumbing and ask for Aaron again. He is good at what he does and is a very pleasant person.

I’ve used these guy on so many occasions for so many things from simple clogged plumbing and repairing a water heater to sewer line clean out and installing a clean out. They’re always professional, affordable, fair and fast. Use them, you won’t regret it.

Needed a mainline inspection for a home I am currently in escrow with. Given a next day appointment and easily met my scheduled window. Called when they were 15 minutes out and set off right to work upon arrival. Honest inspection all the way through. No unnecessary repairs pushed on me. Even showed how I could easily dig up my mainline access valve to save money on a future jetting should I choose to pursue. Sean even walked me through the video of the inspection to show any areas of concern and really put my mind at ease. Will definitely use in the future.

OK. So here’s my story. The kitchen sink was stopped up and a big mess! We plunged it and snaked it and couldn’t get it opened. Oh no! We have to call a plumber!!!
So I found Courtesy Plumbing.
They were on time and the price was exactly as quoted. Very reasonable pricing, Aaron was very courteous, friendly and knowledgable.
I am relieved to have a good plumber now – Courtesy Plumbing.

Last weekend our plumbing backed up. We have a septic system and I called another local plumber in my area. Their appointment was for Monday between 10am-​12pm. They didn’t show up until after 1pm. Cleared the stoppage but wanted to go in with camera to see what was going on. Didn’t have the camera with him so he had to leave and come back, which took him another hour! So now I had waited around for 5 hours dealing with this other company. When he came back he showed me how infested my main line pipe was with tree roots and said I would need to have trees taken out and piping replaced but didn’t bother to clear the line of existing roots and still left me with a major problem that was just going to happen again. So the following day I had Courtesy Plumbing come out to take a look. They arrived bright and early and got right to work. They agreed that the suggested work needs to be done but was kind enough to clear the main line of existing tree roots to buy us some time to save up money and get trees removed, to get the job done. They didn’t leave until that line was clear. Also made great suggestions on how to overall make our system better. They were polite, very informative and trustworthy. When we are ready to do repairs I will definitely being calling Courtesy Plumbing again.
Also wanted to add, even though it might seem like such a small detail, to me really showed the difference in the quality of businesses. The first plumbers that I had come out, the blades on the end of their snake were significantly smaller than those of Courtesy Plumbing. I commented on that right away when I saw the size difference. Even if the original plumber had tried to clear the roots, he never would have stood a chance with his puny blades.

Aaron came out today on schedule and cleared out the backup in our kitchen sink. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. Knocking off one start just because it gets expensive. They are a business with about 15 people so I understand it is pricier than if you hire someone just doing it by himself.
Aaron, if you eventually read this, get your master plumber thing going :) Good luck!

Called last night, set an appointment for this morning. Was told they’d be here 8 to 10am and dispatcher would call to set in the morning.
Dispatcher called at 7:30am, said Aaron would arrive between 9 and 11am… and that he would call when on his way.
Aaron called at 9:01 and gave an ETA (mentioned traffic was heavy). Aaron arrived in a timely manner, got to work after listening to me explain the situation, and had it cleared in less than 10 minutes (using an industrial plunger — not my hardware store flimsy ones). Cost me the $ 110 for a house call, but that is worth the peace of mind of being able to flush with no worries.
I also bought an expensive auger from Home Depot — they said it was the same as a toilet auger but less money and longer, but that was not correct (the «better» comment) as it didn’t work AND it scratched my basin. Don’t make the same mistake I made. Try an industrial plunger, or call Courtesy! I will be calling them if I ever need anything.
Request Aaron for most drains (he does basic plumbing fixture clearing — not major work). He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I trust him in my home. Thank you, Aaron!

My hubby was working on our bathroom’s remodel and we needed someone to tend to the plumbing quickly, efficiently and more importantly cost-​effectively. I spoke with and interviewed several technicians, none of whom I was interested in pursuing business with.
I then found Courtesy Plumbing and contacted them both by phone and via Unilocal.Refreshingly, I received a response from their manager who was courteous and answered whatever questions he could via message. I proceeded to schedule an estimate and corresponded with Tess who was just as prompt and courteous.
As scheduled, and even a little earlier than expected, Thom George showed up, completed a thorough look-​through of what we wanted, and explained what was needed to achieve that, he also discussed options and gave us a ballpark estimate, which was followed by an emailed paper estimate in the same day. From that first meet, I booked him for the job.
On the day of our appointment, he came, again, as scheduled and not a moment late. He brought along a buddy to assist and take care of any running that was needed. He finished much earlier than I anticipated. The true test was my husband’s inspection of Mr. George’s handywork.
When he came from work that evening, he was impressed and quite happy with how much Mr. George had completed, and felt he even went over and beyond what was expected. He was happy, which in turn, made me happy I made the right choice *whew*. Oh and he charged significantly less than what the unimpressive competitors were charging.
Do your research people. I’m glad I did.
