I have been taking our vehicles in to Leo since he bought the Midas in Glendora. Whenever we have auto issues, we go to Leo. When he moved, I knew I would have to follow wherever he went. He continues to earn my trust and my most recent visit was no exception. The brakes on my wife’s car were a little squeeky and I wanted to make sure he vehicle was safe while I was out of town.
I brought it to Leo and he inspected my brakes road tested the car. He showed me that they were still in great shape (he has done all of our brake jobs). I was in and out in less than a half hour and there was no charge. He knows that if and when something comes up, he is my go to guy! You need to be able to trust your mechanic, and Leo has certainly done that!

My car had some weird sound. I took the car to Leo’s. He helped me to fix the problem within 5 mins. We would like to pay him something. He said refer more friends and family to go. «Definitely». Leo is a friendly man and willing to help. I’m highly recommend this shop to you all. I’m planning to go oil change to this shop later.

I really had a wonderful experience here. I dropped my car off after I noticed it was making a very odd vibration, thinking it might be a quick fix, it turned out to be much more serious. However, Leo and Kevin were great at explaining all the issues with my car and I felt completely comfortable with the guys here and the quality of work they did. I’ll be seeing them again soon for all my repairs.

I have been going to Leo for almost 4 years. His service is outstanding. It is difficult to find someone who is an honest mechanic and with Leo I feel fortunate that I have. I have referred family members and they too are extremely happy with the service they are receiving. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a mechanic to take their car to Leo. He knows his stuff and his prices are very fair!

Leo Brown’s complete auto care is a great place to take your car for repairs and service. The place is always kept clean, the staff is extremely friendly and Leo is a fantastic mechanic who is honest and knowledgable. I always appreciate how he fixes what needs to be fixed and does not try to up sell you on something which is not needed.

My wife and I both had our cars serviced at Leo’s. She had a oil change and brake service and I just an oil change for now, but headed back for a complete tune-​up. Very reasonably-​priced, trustworthy, friendly, and thorough service. You can’t ask for much more. Thanks!

Best service ever! I’ve had 2 of my vehicles serviced here and these guys are top notch! The quality of their work is outstanding and the cost is extremely reasonable. Leo and his entire crew are all about customer service. The inspect your vehicle for free and don’t try to pressure you to pay for a bunch of services. They tell what your car needs and they recommend services but in no way try to scam or pressure you.

Excellent service, will use this facility again. Our car was in an accident and when the collision company noticed there was a big problem with the brakes we were referred to Leo Brown’s. They took really good care of our vehicle and now we feel safe again.

Excellent service. They are straight and to the point. No hassle and they don’t try to pressure you into doing anything you can’t afford. They let you know everything up front. And they also let you know what they see that needs to be fixed. I would recommend that you should come down and see for yourself.

Leo’s shop is spacious, clean and customer service was great. I took my sister’s car to get an oil change and tire rotation for $ 20! Found the coupon in Covina’s monthly /​weekly (?) coupon book. Totally worth checking out Leo’s shop!

My 5 Star rating will probably get this review filtered and I hope you bother to dig far enough to read the truth.
Reading the old Midas of Glendora reviews that have been posted thus far has revealed a few things to me:
One — most of these reviews are very dated and refer to someone that no longer has ownership of this business (gee…I wonder why?).
Two — most of the complainers are, IMHO, mechanically clueless and also have no idea what it takes to service/​fix a vehicle or run a business these days (refer to One).
Three — it’s a LOT easier to bitch and whine about something or somebody than to admit your ignorance or fault in any given situation (especially if you’re driving an old car that has been neglected, then things are going to start breaking eventually — one after another). Writing a positive review seems to be the most difficult exercise known to man these days.
If you shop cheap and buy cheap, you’ll get cheap… and cheap is not what you need to be when it comes to maintaining your vehicle and ensuring the safety of its occupants and the people around you.
Because times are financially tough these days, too many people are out in search of «The Smoking Deal», think all auto repair facilities are out to rip you off, and are the first to complain when a repair full of short-​cuts comes back to bite them in the a$$. (If you think that you did really well pricing your «discount» auto insurance, go read the fine print on your policy and let’s see how smart you really are).
I’m no dummy when it comes to auto repairs; in fact I have been in «The Biz» for most of my life, probably longer than most of you readers and posters are old. While I am quite capable of doing some of my own automotive repairs, time and working space has been my enemy for quite some time now. Therefore I rely on industry professionals to do all the work on my personal vehicle. Notice I said «professional», there are plenty of owner/​operators out there that have IMHO (again) no business spinning a wrench and taking your money; and a few of them I believed to be a «professional» I even allowed to previously work on my vehicle.
I moved back to SoCA from Seattle a couple of months back but I was not in the same geographic location as I was before I left. I had heard «through the grapevine» that Leo Brown had recently purchased the Midas of Glendora operation. Leo and I had worked together some years back and I respect Leo as a man of knowledge, experience and integrity. His background is dealerships but his views on Customer Service are the same no matter what the venue.
I made an appointment with him to perform some regular maintenance on my vehicle and I knew I was probably going to need brakes as I was still on the ORIGINAL pads and shoes after almost 90,000 miles on my truck. I also knew that this visit was not going to be cheap and I was prepared for it.
What I was not prepared for was the attention to detail that my truck was given, the sharing of the little known technical information that GM had put out on my truck a few years back that accelerated the wear on my rear brake shoes (the last two shops seemed to have not known, or forgotten to tell me, about it), and the fact that some failing steering components had not been addressed on my last two service visits at other establishments.
Any time there was deviation from the original repair order, I was walked out into the shop and allowed to visually inspect the suspect components and make an informed decision about what the next step in the repairs would be. Had I not been sitting in their (clean and comfortable) customer waiting area and been far away at work, I am confident that their telephone explanation would have been accurate enough for me to make the same decision; an explanation that any lay person could understand.
This attention to detail, and level of Customer Service, is a commodity that is sorely lacking and missing in most retail establishments these days, especially the automotive repair industry. Leo Brown exhibits that level of Customer Service and professionalism and are striving to be your «full service automotive facility». They can’t, and won’t, rebuild your engine and transmission but they can do just about everything else from oil changes and brakes to tires and batteries.
I will not hesitate to recommend Leo Brown’s Complete Auto Care to any of my friends or business associates in the area that need work done on their vehicles. I drove the 30 miles from where I am currently staying to Leo’s new location and it was well worth it. I can drive in complete confidence that my vehicle was repaired right and won’t leave me stranded by the side of the road.
