Don’t bring your Land Rover here! They don’t know how to diagnose correctly and charge thousands of $‘s to say they will fix the problem only to get the car back and it has the same problem as before! Then they tell you it’s another code. Took them over a week to say they fixed it and as soon as I went to pick it up it was doing the same thing. Really needed the car so I had to pay and take it anyway. Now I have a car that has the same problem and it’s not fixed.

Always do a good job and cheaper than the dealer!

I have a 2000 Jaguar XK8 Convertible. The transmission broke and I took it to the dealer first. They wanted as much as I paid for the car to fix the transmission. Fortunately I found Original Jaguar Repair and called Eric about my car. They were able to replace the transmission for a third of the cost of the dealer and even took care of a few other things at no additional charge. This will be the only place I will take my Jag from now on. Great service and Eric was very thorough. I highly recommend anyone with a Jaguar to come here first. You won’t find anything better at any price.

I am a proud owner of a 1999 Jaguar XJ8 L. I have owned this car for many years and plan to own it for many more. I absolutely love this make and model. For years my family mechanic was able to care for my car until recently. Both myself and the shop went through a lot of frustration before they got the last job right.
I knew I had to find another place that I could trust to fix my car and restore the peace of mind I once had. I did a Unilocal search and some other digging around before I called and spoke with Eric from Original Jaguar and Land Rover. Upon my first conversation with him I realized that Eric not only knows how to care for Jaguars but he knows how to cater to it’s owners. I was completely assured that my car was not seeing any ordinary Doctor, she was in the care of a specialist.
They went through my car and made a detailed list of all that needed to be done. Then they prioritized it for me in the order of importance (per my budget) and proceeded to give detailed explanations of exactly the diagnosis and prognosis. What was absolutely amazing was they came in under budget. My car runs, sounds, and feels better than ever and I am so thankful for having found them.
P. S. When I first went into the shop I overheard Eric give a quote for a transmission rebuild to a customer over the phone. After he got off of the phone I asked him if I had understood him correctly. He said yes. Needless to say, I spent $ 1,000 more than what Eric quoted on my transmission somewhere else! This was a huge sign for me that these guys play fair and run an honest to goodness, family-​style, business. You just can’t beat this. I wish I had found them years ago. I look forward to being a long term and loyal client!

This was my first visit with original Jag and LR, and I am beyond impressed.
I recently purchased an LR3, and with it I did extensive research on the rig. Of course, with being a product of «brilliant» British engineering, there are some common problems. Eric and Ron are very easy to work with. Eric explained everything he did, why he did it and addressed all of my questions. Of course, they do not do the work unless you approve it. Great job.
I just drove my rig after having the control arms and a few other minor problems fixed, and I am very impressed. It feels like a whole new rig. Eric and his team are honest, professional, and have a passion for Land Rover and jaguar vehicles. I will return! Nobody else comes close.

Best Jag service by far!

This is my second time coming here for my LR3 with now 96k miles. My suspension gave out, and they weren’t upset or smug about the fact that I tried working on it myself. They charged me a little less on parts than at the dealer and WAY less on labor. Also addressed little concerns of mine on the coolant system and hood sensor. Eric is incredibly knowledge about these cars, has a passion for pin pointing the failure, and doesn’t mind digging into these machines, even though most would charge extra because they are luxury vehicles. He has earned my trust and freed me from having to troubleshoot it before coming here. I’ll let him do it and save me the trouble. I’m so happy to have found such an honest, reasonable professional.

This is the ONLY place u should bring your Jag for repairs. Eric, Omar and the group are aces in every way. Owning a Jag is not cheap so I don’t want to hear any complaining about what it cost to repair. I hope you knew that before you bought the car. We have had our XJ8 for years and Eric is the only one I trust with our car.

I took my Jag in all the way from LA on the recommendation of my former mechanic in Oregon and I can say it was well worth it! Eric is an honest, and fair priced mechanic with superb work. Really happy to have found him and will definitely be going back even if it’s a 30 minute drive.

We own an ’03 X-​Type 5-​speed (yes, a 5-​speed Jag!)
We took a chance on Original Jag about two years ago when we moved to the SGV area, and ever since, we’ve been taking our Jag to Original.
Work done: R&R rear brake caliper, R&R fuel pump, LOF, R&R Headlamp assembly (due to bulb fusing w/​wiring harness… not good), battery replacement and typical diagnostics.
Eric, Omar & crew are great guys. Eric is a no-​BS, straight up honest man, and only cares about two things, making the Jag or Rover run right and the customer happy. It’s not about having the best or cheapest prices cuz –let’s face it– owning a Jag is not cheap at all… it comes with the territory. Sometimes, I find myself scratching my head on why an X-​Type part is more expensive than an XK or XJ…
