BRIZA is true artist! I have been through a lot before I found her. I started with jet black hair that I’ve dyed for almost ten years. I decided I wanted ombré bayalage and started my sessions with the 1^st stylist and my hair never got blonde (5 wasted sessions). Then I tried someone else and did 2 sessions with her and my hair looked like the picture in the top right of the attachment it was bad no were near what I wanted. I wanted to give up since I already spend over 1 grand for nothing, but one lucky night I go out and run into someone with gorgeous and ask her who her stylist is and its Briza! I look at her Instagram and I’m obsessed with her work. I told myself okay this is it if my hair doesn’t workout I’m done and going dark. Well of course Briza kills it and gives me the hair I always wanted

I have been going to Candice for about three years. She is absolutely the best hairstylist I have ever had. She also does a fabulous job on color. I highly recommend her and this salon… thank you Candice!!!

Went into the salon to get a balayage with subtle highlights and ended up getting something that looked more like a cheap ombré. I wanted something subtle so I asked for ashy blonde strands in my hair to lighten it up. What I got was a brassy blonde. I went on a Friday first and decided that the reason for the spots, the orange strands and the different blondes in my hair was due to the salon being hectic that day (other clients were complaining about other stylists). I was sick that day and left immediately after my hair was curled (probably to hide the uneven colors) because the salon smells were giving me a migraine. Paid $ 170.
After getting home to a well-​lit room, I saw the uneven colors, the spots throughout my hair, the ORANGE, and – most embarrassingly – the pieces of hair with interrupted blonde. I actually had/​have strands in my hair that look like a zebra and they are in the front of my hair, not under it, in PLAIN SIGHT. I called the salon immediately. No one answered. I left a message that was not as angry and upset as it should have been. I received a call later that weekend from the hair stylist responsible (Candice) asking if I could go back in sometime that week.
I went back in on Tuesday to «fix» my hair. I understand that the balayage is similar to an ombré, but they aren’t the «same thing» as she said that day. At least they don’t LOOK the same and the picture I showed her didn’t look like what I got. I asked why there was so much blonde – what I wanted to ask was «Why did you let me walk out of here like this!!!» There was too much brassy blonde, that was the main problem. It was not subtle. It was not ashy. It was not acceptable. I agreed to let her lighten the top highlights to match the bottom ones and to try to cover these spots being that I already had so much blonde in my hair. I did not choose for her to add dark strands again because I did not trust that she would make it uniformed enough.
The final result? Still sh*t. Still have dark spots and orange strands. Still have pieces of hair with interrupted blonde. Still can’t wear this hair down.
It was about three weeks ago that I had my hair done here but I was too busy to write a review. Do not go here for Candice

I go here for Briza! She’s the best, truly cares about your hair and I always leave loving my hair. She’s not like other hair stylists who do their own thing and don’t consider your features or opinions. I love how she explains her process, products, and styling tools to me as she does my hair because it reassures me that she takes the time to pick out every right product for you and knows her s*$#! Her assistant Trevor does amazing work as well, he did my Brazilian Blowout and I love it! They both make such a great team and make you feel welcomed and in good hands. Their good company and hair styling techniques make the experience so wonderful!

Briza is the best!!! I have been going to different salons no one does a awesome job like Briza does she’s honest and she will tell you the true about your hair if she can dye it or not before going with her my hair was long I went to other salon and they burn my hair that I had to cut it really short beside that my hair was so bad that she had to fix what the other salon did and also told me how to take care of my hair to be repair and and be ready for what she had in plan for my hair it has been four months and my hair is beautiful all because of Briza thank you for your amazing job.
Briza hace un trabajo ejemplar. Antes de ella yo fui a otros salones que me quemaron mi cabello tanto que mi cabello se estaba cayendo y me lo tuve que cortar bien cortito cuando fui con Briza ella hizo una corrección de color y desde cuatro meses hemos estado trabajando con mi cabello poquito poquito y ahora el color de mi cabello es perfecto todo en la paciencia de ella. Es la clase de persona que si ella mira que tu cabello no se puede hacer absolutamente nada lo que te va recomendar es que te hagas tratamiento en tu cabello para así después de dos o un mes ella te puede colorear el cabello como tú deseas. Estado yendo con ella hace cuatro meses y ahorita mi cabello está hermoso me encanta cómo se siente cuando me baño por qué antes que yo iba con ella mi cabello parecía chicle que ni siquiera quería tocarlo porque estaba tan dañado. Usualmente cuando voy con Brisa lo único que yo le digo es que ella haga su magia porque eso si ella tiene un don para colorear el cabello todo lo único que yo le tengo que decir es haz lo que tú quieras y siempre me encanta lo que ella hace en mi cabello. Gracias Briza por cuidarme mi cabello y por siempre darme buenos consejos sobre mi cabello. besos

Briza! Is amazing at what she does, she is up to date with fresh new techniques as she takes her job seriously and devotes her time to master classes by celebrity colorists when she’s not busy in the salon painting people’s hair! I’m glad I found her on Instagram a few years ago and although she has moved, I have followed her because she truly delivers each time and I always leave her chair feeling fabulous and loving my hair! This here is my 3^rd session balayage. Briza also takes the time to explain how to maintain your hair healthy in between sessions and that’s always great because it’s very important to do your part!

Anthony Gonzalez has been a sweetheart since our hs days. Still is and he’s now my TO-​GO stylist! He work with what you want and give it his own. I’ve been coming here since January and brought my daughter in for her color during spring break. She loves how he colored/​highlighted her hair just in time for prom season. We are both happy and satisfied with our new style!

So I have been going to tantrum for a year now, and every time that I go I always leave satisfied ! Robert always makes me feel so comfortable and welcomed and takes time on my hair and always has me leaving feeling beautiful! He knows what he is talking about when it comes to hair, he won’t leave it damaged or looking horrible he does it the way I want. And the price I pay to do my hair is amazing ! I won’t ever go anywhere else after having Robert do my hair !

If I could give 0 stars I would I’ve been here before and had an amazing experience with frank I came here today my appointment was originally at 5 I called at 2:30 to confirm my appointments they said they had accidentally had me under another name and asked me if I could come in at 4 because they had an opening I said yes but wouldn’t know if I would get there right at 4 since I was coming from Huntington park I got here at 4:15 they said to take a seat and some guy I didn’t catch his name said he didn’t know if he would be able to do my hair today because he was on a tight schedule!!! then why the fuck do people make appointments I did not drive all this way out here for this especially on my birthday never coming here again!!!

Briana G. Aka Briza is AMAZING, such a skilled salon stylist. I highly recommend her and her awesome assistant Trevor. Briza has been my day one hair stylist ever since she started her business and would never go to anyone else. Briza is definitely a perfectionist when it comes to hair. Many people have come up to me just randomly just to compliment my hair and I absolutely LOVE it. Briza and her assistant Trevor recently moved to this location and it is so cute! Its a trendy spot to get your hair done and conveniently located to a bunch of shops and eateries. Everyone here is super friendly and willing to help you regardless of who you are there to see. Briza and Trevor are the cutest duo that are so very talented. Briza has been doing my hair for over a year and honestly, I will not go to anyone else. I also appreciate the fact that Briza LOVES to keep up on her knowledge and techniques by going to hair seminars taught by the greatest hairstylist in the world. She shows great pride in her work and always makes sure you are in absolutely satisfied with your hair!

I go to Tantrum for Briza and Trevor. Whether you’re looking for balayage or just a cut, you will leave happy. Briza also has great scheduling hours and great conversation topics when you’re in her chair! She’s been cutting my hair for a while now and I love the results every time.

Robert has been my stylist for over 20 years! And I would never go anywhere else to have my haircut. Although Robert is my stylist, a few times I’ve had no choice but to have another stylist in the salon cut my hair and I’ve never been disappointed or worried.
The salon has a fun and thriving environment for both the customers and stylists. Regardless if you prefer standard conservative styles or wild & edgy, you will find your place here. Great people who create beautiful hair, while having a good time.

Tuyet works wonders on my thick, coarse hair. My haircuts and coloring come out fabulously. Plus, she always manages to fit me into her schedule when i need to make it work. (Mom of 3 :))

Robert is a color GOD! He totally gets it. I am a blonde and I travel from Orange County to get my golden locks. Robert always listens to what I want, even if its a different shade or a new cut. Love him.

I could not have trusted a better hair stylist than Carlos on my wedding day. Weddings (hopefully) only happen once, and I don’t think I’ve ever been in so many photos in a single day in my entire life! Which is why I’m SO so grateful that Carlos did his magic on my hair because now I can flip through my wedding photos and be amazed and happy to see that my hair looked sexy-​good from start to finish!
Carlos set up in our hotel the morning of our wedding at 7:30 am bringing his contagiously upbeat personality. He brought a speaker with some majorly feel-​good jams and worked his magic touch. Up until the ceremony, he stayed with me through every photo, touching me up whenever needed.
He is so good with his time even with me having myself, my mom + 4 ladies and a groomsman from my (now) husband’s side. He also had time to touch up everyone else before we had to head out by 2. Everyone looked gorgeous and I have never seen my girls be such little photo whores. I loved it. They loved it. Obviously.
What I also completely love about Carlos is how good he is at communicating, his honesty, and how he can adjust to make your vision work. From the day I met him on my trial appointment, Carlos was so receptive to my opinion. He helped me adjust what my Pinterest inspiration was to how it would best suit me. He didn’t leave my side until I was obsessed with the outcome and wanted to run around town showing it off (which I totally did after). This was consistent with the day of the wedding as well. Any last minute changes or concerns I had, he adjusted and solved it all. During the entire night and even until now through photos, I’m still getting compliments on how ahhhhmaaaazinggg my hair looked. He made me feel like a queen on my wedding day, and that fairytale feeling is irreplaceable :)
My experience with Carlos was absolutely wonderful. He is a genuinely talented stylist :)
