Ginn Chevrolet

I’ll start off by saying, I have always dreaded buying a car. Every time we’ve been to a dealer, we’ve been overwhelmed with pushy sales staff and there’s usually a yelling match in the finance office!
We’ve been working with Deon for the past week and he is the most laid back, yet effective, salesman I have ever met! My Wife went in to look at the new Malibu and he handed her the key and told her that he’d see her tomorrow!
We kept the car until the next day and when she returned it, he simply asked if we liked it. There were no nagging follow up calls, in fact, we contacted him a couple of days later, with questions about available options, etc.
We gave him a list of «Must have» options and he began searching for the car that suited us. During the search, we actually located a car, at another dealership in GA, and asked Deon if he could get that one. We asked him to go ahead and run the numbers and give us a price so he got to work. Within 30 minutes, he contacted us with, surprisingly, an awesome deal and we didn’t even bother haggling because he was already at the same number we had in our heads! We told him to go ahead and get the car and let us know when we could take delivery!
Within 24 hours, Deon let us know the car was on the lot and we could take delivery when it was convenient for us to do so.
After work yesterday, we dropped by and Deon introduced us to Wendy, the tech expert at the dealership. Wendy walked us through setting up the various tech options and helped us get registered for OnStar, etc.
Once we finished speaking with Wendy, we were directed into the Finance office. This is usually the hardest part for some reason. As we took our seats in the Finance guy’s (Mark) office, I cringed in anticipation of the usual argument. He already had the paperwork laid out and he actually answered our questions before we had the chance to ask them! It was the smoothest signing session I have ever experienced! I didn’t think professionalism and customer existed anymore. however, these guys are AWESOME!
Bottom line is, if you ever find yourself needing/​wanting a new car, start here! Stop by and ask for Deon and I promise you’ll never buy from another dealer again!

Went to Ginn Chevrolet for a recall repair on my GMC truck. Thought I had set up a 1 pm appointment by email, and even got the name of the person to see. When I got there I was a little early, and waited 10 minutes for the person to get back from lunch. Meanwhile, other customers with no appointments were pulling into the repair bays and getting their vehicles looked at. When I spoke to the person I was told to see, she said others were ahead of me, and it would be a little while before they could get to mine. She became irritated, just slightly rude, when I tried to point out that I had an appointment. It took nearly an hour. If I had ignored the so-​called appointment and pulled right in, I would have been out sooner. The repair itself took only a few minutes and appears to be competently completed. Would I buy a new car from Ginn? No. Other dealerships may be just as bad, or worse, at honoring their appointments, but I have first-​hand evidence for this one.

Stay away!!! I went to trade in a 2012 Chevy Malibu and my sales person was Stephanie. After being told the estimated monthly payment on a new 2015 vehicle by her manager I declined. The manager «name unknown» informed me that he could do nothing for me and sarcastically said «maybe you can go to Chrysler & get a Chrysler 200»…all the while STEPHANIE is sitting there nodding her head in agreement. Not only was the managers statement TACKY but the saleswoman wasn’t helpful at all!!!
Meanwhile, I went to John Miles Chevrolet in Conyers and walked away with a NEW 2015 Chevy Malibu and received an awesome interest rate!!!

My sales person was awesome: knowledgeable, patient, and persistently followed up. The service department and customer relations departments are questionable. I wish I would have bought my vehicle elsewhere. I didn’t get the rear entertainment system I wanted because they wanted to get a really cheap version installed on my new very expensive vehicle, so now I have to pay a bunch of money to get the headrest version from the Chevrolet site. My trade-​in was undervalued. There was a rude woman in the service department when I called about a concern I had. I only called because she didn’t follow up with my email request. I also never got a follow up with my accessories email request. The customer relations manager reverted me to contact somebody else instead of having them contact me. I will be getting my servicing needs and accessories needs met somewhere else. I deeply regret I didn’t purchase my vehicle somewhere else.

Errol and Michael at the SuperStore on Salem are by far the nicest car salesmen alive. They put me in the right car! They were honest, weren’t pushy and treated me with respect. Thank you Gentlemen.

Do not, I repeat, do not, take your vehicle to the service department at this dealership. I’ve never encountered more unhelpful employees with unmatched surly attitudes. Service was so bad and attitudes so dismissive that I’m actually questioning wether or not I received services that were paid for. You’ve been warned.

Great place to do business with! Awesome service department and very personable staff! Bought several cars there as well as had them serviced! Wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else!
