Ah, the city pool. There’s two in Covington, another one on Randolph. The neat thing about these pools’ programs is that they offer swimming lessons for a couple weeks during the summer. They open a week after Memorial Day(or two, depending on budget) So, the first week; get a pass. It’s crazy crowded though. If you don’t like, avoid the first two weeks of opening. After that you’ll be sharing it with a dozen or so other folks. And, if you live in Covington: Tons of kids, lots of families and the lifeguards are very attentive. Also, this pool is great for kids, as it’s not super deep at any point — lots of 3 – 4 ft areas. The building could use a paint job. May be on the agenda for«make Goebel great.» Right now it’s kinda creepy. We use this pool(and the splash park in Latonia) all year long. Stop on down and enjoy the city pool. // No breaks: get the kids Good and tired — they have 3 lifeguards on duty usually — and they don’t do breaks.
