My mom purchased a 2012 Civic from Ryan on Saturday. Initially when she spoke with him she felt he was speaking too fast for her, and decided to leave. I called him (since I’m in California) and after talking with him for 30 minutes he told me about the car she ultimately purchased. It sounded like a good fit for her, so she went back to test drive it. After having it a few days she noticed the passenger seat had an issue and brought it in for service (that’s covered under her warranty). The experience as a whole wasn’t perfect, but I appreciate Ryan for trying to do right by her. Unfortunately car salesmen will probably always have a bad rep, and I’ll probably never fully trust them, but I was happy with how Ryan (and his sales manager he has been consulting with) handled things.

Staff were courteous and efficient. There are enough staff to greet and assist several customers at once. Took my car in for needed service. Their shuttle driver (yes, they drove me home while service was ongoing) is very pleasant. They washed my car! Yes, there were a couple of things I had to buy, but they were needed to keep my Honda running smoothly. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had a great experience at Honda. Paul was professional and extremely informative. He helped walk us through the process and didn’t leave a single detail out! We will definitely be back to see him come time to buy our next!

I recently bought a 2015 CRV from them. A week later we took are car in to get washed. While waiting one of the service attended wrecked are week old car. They offered to fix it to the condition it was in before but failed to compensate use for the deprecation of the value of are brand new car that we BOUGHT from them. They don’t care!!! Would not recommend their are plenty of other dealers to buy cars from in the area.-That’s what we will do next time.

Well intentioned, but completely incompetent. We bought a used hybrid from this dealership with a battery that went bad within 3 miles. They took it back since they couldn’t afford to sell it at the same price after replacing the battery. I guess we should have avoided them after this incident, but they did refund our money, even though they had sold us a lemon. So we decided to give them another try and took our Pilot in for repairs to fix a ‘clicking’ noise. They recommended replacing the spark plugs which we let them do. The noise didn’t go away, but now our vehicle was sluggish when accelerating. They recommended cleaning the carbon from the cylinders, which didn’t fix either issue, but now caused a check engine light to come on. They tried to fix the check engine light on 3 separate occasions, for free since they had caused it, but it would always return within a few miles or days. In one instance, they stated that they test drove the vehicle for 5 miles and the light remained off, yet our odometer only increased by 1.1 miles. I finally gave up. Fast forward another 2,000 miles and our Pilot began to miss. I took it to a different mechanic who diagnosed the problem within an hour and fixed it that day. Long story short, Honda had not relearned the throttle after replacing the spark plugs causing the acceleration issue. Then, they hadn’t tightened the back 3 spark plugs after the carbon service causing the check engine light and ultimately the vehicle to begin missing. The end result, their mistakes and incompetence caused the coil to go bad, two very corroded spark plugs, and one completely destroyed. I’m lucky they didn’t cause more damage! Stay away from this dealership!

Bought an Accord Sport here the people here our experience was a good one. They were true of their price and the financing went over smoothly. I would recommend this dealership if you are in the market in the north shore area.

Completely inept at service after the sale.
They love to out blame on other departments for their screw ups.
If you are price shopping, use Truecar first and get them to match the price for whatever car you choose.
Watch for them to add hidden costs to the sales order.

I used to bring my car to Honda of Slidell, but it was convenient for me one time to bring it here. The process was so much better, I have brought my car here for service ever since. I also noticed HoS called my phone to offer deals on used cars, which is ridiculous. These guys have not done that, and they’ve really been great to deal with. I can bring my car on a Friday after work, and pick it up on Saturday morning. One time I brought it and they were able to change the oil while I waited on a Friday evening. I was going I leave it, but the guy said they could do it right then. That’s good service and saved me a trip back the next day.
