Kid To Kid Covington

Eh, I usually find a few items but never really go crazy. they have good stuff if you need a nice dress or something specific. they have a good amount of equipment but looked a little skinny on toys last time I was in.
Not my favorite stop but we do stop occasionally to check their selection.

It DID take a while to purchase things, and they didn’t buy back THAT much. But their selection for purchasing is great and the staff is very nice and helpful! I will DEFINITELY be going back! :)

I first started going there when my daughter turned 6 months old because she out grew her clothes so fast. The last time I sold my clothes to them they took most of baby clothes but 2 weeks after that they called me saying the clothing was stained and that they are going to take the credit off my account and I have tell the end of the day to get it. I found it to be rude and inconsiderate. They didn’t even care when I called back. I will never go back and I tell everyone not to go there. lady’s are mean and rude. They talk to each other more then the customers. They don’t care to help and don’t care when they mess up

Kid to kid used to be very nice. The quality of what they are selling has gone down. Their employees are definitely rude. And their prices have gone up! What a waste of time. I won’t be back.

Love this place. Ive taken a lot of my daughters things here and although I didnt receive as much as i wouldve liked for them, they have very decent prices on the things they are selling. The ladies are always very sweet! We love getting a free book every month too!

I love this store! I love that I can get instant cash for my items or get a bit more $$ by taking the in-​store credit, I love that I can go bagless and they’ll donate to charity, I love how organized it is (man have I been in some dumps!), and I have to say… not having to come back for the clothes that didn’t sell is a big win for me! Not to mention it rocks that my credit sits there forever, if I want, waiting for me to shop… gives me reason to come back again and again! Love!
Also, all the ladies who work there, they’re all so nice! It obviously gets a little hairy with the large amounts of donations sometimes… but I don’t really see that as a negative, as that means I’ll have new stuff to look at soon! Kim, the manager, is sweet as peaches and always has a smile for everyone!

What a gem! This store has been a lifesaver for my family with two growing boys! Their quality of resale items are amazing and I love their free monthly book program. The staff is so helpful especially the manager Kim and owner Annette. I have never had a bad experience at this store and tell all my friends about it! Thanks for such an awesome service to the community!

Kid to Kid is a great consignment store, and their manager Kim is a HUGE ASSET to that business. Whoever posted that negative comment is not only incorrect, but dishonest as well. Kim is a loyal, honest, and hard working employee. She has been there for as long as I have been a customer (which is pretty much from the first day they opened). I am glad that person is never coming back to Kid to Kid. We as a close community, don’t need dishonest shoppers in our neighborhood.

Kid to Kid is one of the best resale stores I have ever encountered. It all starts with their awesome owner and staff, Annette and her team of friendly gals really know their stuff. They have created an awesome business in the Covington area that not only helps out cost-​conscious families but also benefits our community.
I was once employed at Kid to Kid and loved my time there, I loved meeting the different customers and their kids that came through the store, since moving out of the area I have always tried to search for a resale store as great as the Covington Kid to Kid but nothing compares.
This is not a biased review but just simply a review to express my feelings of such an amazing concept of a store. I’m an avid shopper but I love a deal, and quality of the items at Kid to Kid cant be matched. I always send my friends and family there and they always report back to me their excitement of not just finding what they were looking for but so much more.
In response to a previous review made by Israa A. I’m saddened you had such a bad experience but I find your slanderous remarks about their manager untrue, unnecessary, and absolutely immature. This page is about a wonderful business in our community, not a place to attack individuals as to whom you know nothing about. Kim is a kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and giving person. Your review holds no truth to her character, if you knew anything about her family you would know just how laughable your remarks are.
That aside, if you haven’t yet stopped into the Covington Kid to Kid please do, it is truly a gem. Annette and the girls will help you with any question you could possibly have and will treat you with the upmost respect. Gosh just writing this reminds me I need to make a trip out from Woodinville to Kid to Kid to shop for my nephew.

They have a high standard for items, clothing and cleanliness of their store. I love shopping here! Customer service is amazing, they are all really sweet, kind and helpful behind the counter.
I was a Macy’s, H&M and Norstrom Rack «baby» shopper before I discovered Kid to Kid in Covington.
It never smells like old clothes or dust and the floors are always clean and items put back into place as best as they can. Other children consignment stores are so cluttered or dusty (issaquah has one like this).
Also the prices are MORE than fair! I just got my nephew some brand new looking shoes for $ 5.99 for christmas!
My baby is almost 12 months old and her entire wardrobe is from kid 2 kid (except one coat from H&M).
I wish I could do more to help people realize how great this place is. If you want more selection than go to Goodwill or something… they have a high standard and that’s what I appreciate so much about this store. :-D

So for the second time it took them over 3 hours to finish my buy. There not very friendly and I dot feel like I get a very good deal.
I will be taking my business to Treasure Box from now on.

So I haven’t consigned anything, but my first time in was earlier this week. I’m expecting a baby boy and found great quality clothes (like new, some even still had original tags!) for a fraction of the price at BabiesRUs! Definitely a must to check this place out for clothing items. As for other items, some things were a little over-​priced compared to brand new things in stores. The space is small so it was a little messy and a bit unorganized. I would go in here if you’re ready to hunt down a good deal in the clothing section.

I took some baby gear to consign and looked around the store while I was waiting.
Pros: quality of clothes, location, organized, parking, prices.
Cons: boys selection (I know this dependent on what consignors bring), children’s play area was sad looking. A toy kitchen and lots of socks and shoes from a nearby section littered the floor, and a toddler couch. Kind I messy and dirty. I really did NOT want my daughter to be in there.
To customers: it’s a good place to shop for baby items. But there are other shops that offer similar prices and variety of items. I have shopped and consigned at Small Threads in Issaquah and it is a fun place for both me and my little one to play. I’ve also shopped and consigned at Little Quadoo in Renton. It’s a lot smaller than either shops, but still worth a visit. They accept more types of items like baby bottles, diapers, and maternity and nursing gear. They, too, allow children to play with toys.
To owner: might I recommend the play area be cleaned up and disinfected regularly? It’s a safety issue for me. Even better, why not allow he children to play and test the toys available for consignment? Other shops allow that and it makes me frequent those shops more because of it.

Quality stuff at great prices! They are really picky on what they buy, they only buy items that are in great condition meaning everything they sell is in great condition! Onesies are $ 0.99, Jamie’s are $ 2.50−3.99, walkers are around $ 15 – 20, most clothing items are under $ 6, they have. Large selection of items (clothes, toys, equipment, shoes, maternity, general needs for kids and babies) only down fall is they don’t have cribs and always have more girls clothing than boys! Everything from pregnancy — kids sizes 16 – 18! They buy your items outright so u get paid upfront the day u bring your items in, but since they sell for less you usually get paid less as well! Selling stuff there is more for convenience!

In general, condition of items sold here are pretty good. Clothing is on the pricey side and you could probably find the same or better stuff at local thrift stores for much less. I have bought most of my equipment here such as stroller, walker, play pen, bouncer, and swing. All with excellent prices and in good condition. My only complaint is that when I bought the bouncer my baby didnt care to be in it so we never used it, but they claimed it was not in good condition and would not buy it back. From now on, I make sure that every single part is straight and working properly or I wont purchase it. I dont like double standards.

This is one place to go if you want the best selection for your kid. They don’t take everything, only the best fro your children here. I shop here first then go to the department store if they don’t have what i want. 90% of the time they have what need! The sore is very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help find what you need.
I have never left Kid to Kid empty handed and always leave with a smile!

Kid to Kid is awesome!!! They have a great selection and you never have to sift through to find the good stuff because it’s ALL good stuff! Their prices are great… better than other consignment stores I’ve been to. I love that they carry larger sizes, not just little kids clothes. I found my new favorite store!

I must say first that this place is clean and very well organized. However I was a surprised by their prices. They seemed very high for selling used clothing.

This place is my new addiction. They have a wide variety of very reasonably priced maternity, baby and kid clothes. They also carry car seat bases, bouncers, swings, toys, book etc. I bought quite a few baby clothes and spent less than $ 10!
The staff are also friendly and knowledgeable.

Not a huge consignment person but with a 3 year old and a newborn, I had to check this place out. I usually walk right out of consignment stores because everything seems too dirty to me. This place is very clean and so are the clothes and toys. They also have new items there too. Why spend a ton of money on children’s clothes when they are going to grow right out of them, this is a great alternative. They also have tons of infant toys likes jumpers, swings, etc. They grow out of these so quickly too. I’ve also sold some of the clothes my children grow out of and you can either get cash or store credit. You get a little more money if it is store credit. So defiantly check this place out.
